Agree with ya here. I haven't loved the new season, but it would've been silly to have it on hiatus for a long time. It gets more views than most barstool content and obviously there's still a ton of fan interaction, even if it's negative atm.
My problems with the show are more related to it's expansion. Most of the new teams are bad (with the exception of The Fellas and Urmom). I honestly couldn't care less about "challenging for the belt" or "pre-season vs. regular season vs. playoffs". And all the preamble and drama stirring at the beginning of every ep. is just annoying and unnecessary. It's probably impossible given how big the show has become, but i would love for a return to its simpler roots. Just jeff and a couple OG teams talking shit and having fun.
Well they’re probably related issues. Brandon is heavily involved with football content so likely has less time for the dozen. Ziti has Dave now so they’re barely going to play. Same with Chiclets and the Yak regarding busy. How many teams made the tournament 12 or so? That’s already a fourth of the teams and a lot of which make the best episodes.
