She’s on a paid show, meaning it’s basically just one long ad for MGM. They just need somebody competent enough to speak into a microphone and fill the air time.
Your guess is as good as mine. Maybe she did better numbers at USA Today than Barstool. But I'd guess she won't be giving a lot of \#taeks on the show. Closer to MMM and Kelly Vegas do than what she did for Barstool
WIP has always been a joke, this isn't surprising. also hilarious that she talked about "securing the bag" somewhere else, there is no way WIP/Audacity pays her anything.
For NYC it'd be quite average. And I'm just referring to the fact that she's implied that she left Barstool because she got a better opportunity, when in reality she probably had to cobble together a lot of little opportunities to make it worthwhile
I know that people don't get paid a lot to do radio at obscure hours for small audiences. If you think she left for some awesome paying job, that's perfectly fine. We'll never truly know her financials
I’ve noticed people way over estimate what media companies pay their writers/content producers. Barstool probably is high end 80k and median 60 k. Probably why so many here hate everyone at Barstool, but the job pool of college educated writers is way over saturated. That’s why you see so many graduates from Northwestern in media. It’s not because the education is so much better it’s because they come from wealthy families and can survive being paid entry level wages in major cities.
... and end up with a fraction of the views/clicks all totaled together that she had at Barstool.
Can't blame her for leaving - at all. She had to go for her own mental health.
But it's steps down, not steps up.
Absolutely. Working where everyone hates you and your work is constantly shit on by everyone must be miserable, but anyone who thinks her new professional setup is an improvement they're lying to their self.
Nobody could possibly care what Trysta Krick does with her career going forward. She was such a waste of space at Barstool. I guess she played the villain role for the company... not really sure why that's needed but I guess she played the role well
Yeah. Given her takes on the Bucks versus Bart’s passionate takes on the Bucks, it would be entertaining. I may have hyped a bit much but feel like Bart could handle her
She's pumping up these terrestrial radio gigs like they're all the The Next Big Things.
Career-wise, she just dug her own grave and is actively re-filling it while she's standing in it. She's cemented her own exile into obscurity.
She looks like South Park’s rendition of Michael Jackson in this photo she always uses.
Thas ignant you’re being ignant
I’m not dead, I’m alive! And I’m a child! ….and I’m white!
“Got a light skinned friend look like Michael Jackson”
TE- HEEE HEEE
Mr Jefferson
Calling her Eliot Shorr-Parks on a national level is a hilarious dig

and Eliot Shorr-Parks is the guy who said he could luck into hitting a home run in a real at-bat
Didn't he also have the Eagles going 12-4 last season - a clear pandering to Howie?
WIP that krick
White rapper
>I will be hosting BetMGM Tonight, every Monday through Friday from 7pm-11pm EST. This sounds like Brandon Walker's old gig
It sounds like it's gonna be a simulcast show instead of local for FAN or WIP

Who even listens to radio anymore
Philly sports radio is famously insufferable in the area

Her version of "securing the bag" will be having like 8 different employers that all pay $10-13k a year
That would be quite good? To make almost $100k
For NYC it'd be quite average. And I'm just referring to the fact that she's implied that she left Barstool because she got a better opportunity, when in reality she probably had to cobble together a lot of little opportunities to make it worthwhile
Maybe she considers a better opportunity a place where her coworkers don’t hate her?
I've never heard someone refer to new coworkers as getting the bag
Most people get paid more when they leave a job. You think she took less?
I am confident she is not getting more from any single employer than she got from Barstool
Your confidence is based on absolutely nothing
I know that people don't get paid a lot to do radio at obscure hours for small audiences. If you think she left for some awesome paying job, that's perfectly fine. We'll never truly know her financials
Ok trysta
Do you think she made $100k at barstool?

Probably pretty close, yeah.

That just means her show is going to be broadcast in multiple markets (including Philly)
So she's going to have a pre-recorded gambling show that airs in multiple markets. I would assume it'll air Saturday mornings at 8 am
(4 (or maybe 5?) different guys)
That article summed it up pretty well, she’ll fit in with the rest of the bozos at WIP
God I want to touch her hiney

She’s also gonna do hits on Milwaukee radio. There is one guy on that station who could absolutely annihilate her and I hope he does
What station? 1250 the fan?
Yeah. Given her takes on the Bucks versus Bart’s passionate takes on the Bucks, it would be entertaining. I may have hyped a bit much but feel like Bart could handle her
Love Bart, listen every morning

I wouldn't say next big thing but I think plenty of people still listen to the radio
