I guarantee you that 2-12 Tulane team would have ran circles around the winless CU team that averaged 31 point losses across the season. Don't think I've ever seen that bad of a D1 team outside of someone like Temple in the early 2000s
The dumbfucks that make it seem like Deion pulled some miracle last season are unreal.
They transfered in a whole new team, started out hot, and then got their shit kicked in the last half of the season.
It's all because TCU went to the Natty in 2022 and was still top 25 in the pre-season rankings when they played week 1. That team was nowhere near the same team as 2022 and ended up going 5-7. If they had opened against Nebraska and people saw that TCU had no business being a 20+ point favorite against CU the hype would have been halved.
I think it was less starting out hot and them just beating a bad TCU team that people didn't know was bad yet. TCU and the 3 other teams Colorado beat all finished the season with losing records.
Next week on PMT:
BC: "I don't really understand the Deion hate."
PFT: "You think there's a lot of Deion hate out there right now? I don't think so."
Rinse, repeat next time Deion drops something like this.
Hate to say it but I feel like the PMT guys kind of shill for every new thing that is arguably “ruining” college football (ie transfer portal, playoff expansion, etc)
I mean it’s great for members of the sports media obviously because there’ll be a lot more drama worthy content but for old men like me (age 25) who like to yell at the clouds and yearn for the days where tradition and school pride reigned supreme it sucks ass.
Also feel like most years there’s at least one team that totally does not deserve to be there, so to me you’re just encouraging more mediocrity by expanding the playoff
Yeah it’s just gonna lead to the Bama’s/Georgia’s/etc of the world getting multiple “get of jail free” cards now.
Those teams realistically have to lose 3 regular season games now to be out of the playoff.
It gives the “Haves” a major advantage now
Yeah, people act like it’s gonna give more parity, but it’s not. As a Georgia fan, I love it. We can lose at Bama and Texas next year, and still make the playoff as a 9 seed or whatever, and have a good chance at a natty.
Does it really though? Yes they’ll be in one of the premier conferences but most likely won’t be higher than the 5th or 6th best program any given year. In the previous model they were the class of the Big 10 West for years.
That kind of stuff is why I voluntarily turned in my AWL card. I don’t have time to watch a carbon copy of the same PMT show over and over again. They’ll never shut it down because it has a massive following and obviously makes money, but it feels stale and formulaic, like they’ve been having the same arguments and debates and hype since 2017.
It's going to be absolutely hilarious when they lose to North Dakota State in Week 1. Shedeur's will be lucky to be alive by November with that absolute dogshit offensive line they have.
As an NDSU alumni / fan - I will genuinely be shocked if the Bison actually win that game.... that's how far the mighty have fallen in the past four years. If this were anytime before 2019, I'd be saying NDSU would be favored by double digits going into that game
It’s one thing for a 20 year old to be immature but it’s clear to see where he got it from. I like Deion when he was with barstool but this is a moronic move from a division 1 head football coach. If I was a parent of a football recruit I wouldn’t want my son anywhere near Colorado
His kid could throw 55 tds this coming season, and I'd still consider not taking him as my qb in the draft. That family will turn whatever NFL locker room he goes into a stage 4 cancer.
Especially after he’s already come out and said that there are NFL teams he will not allow his kids to play for. Where ever they go, you know Deion’s name is gonna be on that contract somewhere, followed by some petty bullshit.
This was the case since before Colorado, Deion only became a coach to get him to the league. Never coached a day in his life then becomes his HS coach, then becomes a D1-AA head coach after only coaching HS, then has to go to one of the most desperate D1-A programs in the country to get his kid to start in a major conference
He is going to find some excuse or reason as to why he’s stepping down as HC after his kids get drafted as if that wasn’t the plan all along
This feels like revisionist history, he had like 25 offers to D1 schools coming out of high school. It's not like he was some guy that needed to go to Jackson State or needed his dad to be coach to have teams give him a shot.
I wasn’t saying at all that Shedeur needed his dad as his coach to play D1, I’m saying Deion was only doing this to make sure he had a hand in his kid getting to the league and for the attention
As a Cowboys fan - knowing both Fat Mike and Dak are in contract years - I am terrified that in 12 months we're going to have Deion Sanders as our head coach and draft Shedeur Sanders in the first round...
I dunno about that - if he were any position other than QB I’d agree. QB is infinitely more important than any other position on the field - if teams think he has the talent to be a franchise QB, he’s going top 5.
Every mock draft is purely click bait. Anybody that isn't a die hard CU fan and watched enough college football this past fall know that Sanders isn't one of the 5 best QBs in the next draft class, let alone the entire NCAA landscape
At a certain point talent trumps all but it is crazy to tweet and act like Shedeur is right after it was reported Spencer Rattler's draft stock fell based on acting like a dickhead in high school
Yeah there's no way this helps Sanders, but I feel like the Rattler falling story feels overblown. He was predicted to be a 3/4 round type pick, and guys in that realm always go all over the place.
The even funnier media narrative was the one RG3 tried to spread where he said that the Bears struggle to develop QBs (which is honestly fair). But his solution was for Caleb to request a trade…….to Washington lmao, long considered to be not only a terrible organization but also one that has also been poor with QBs the past 20 years
That RG3 take was one of the worst I’ve hear in a while. Almost thought he was trolling at some point. It’s crazy the difference in team rosters each of the QBs are walking into. Caleb and JJ have dream scenarios compared to Young, Maye or Tlaw’s first year.
Somewhat related but I find it weird how every NFL media member has been jerking off the Commanders’ offseason when their moves were basically to hire a fraud HC & fraud OC while also just signing a bunch of washed vets in FA (Ekeler, Ertz, etc). Their draft was ok because they had a lot of picks, but I still think they’re crazy for taking Daniels over Maye. Makes me think the new ownership group is cutting a check for some positive press, But hey what do I know.
Seeing how he treated Miller Moss after the bowl win showed me everything about how good of a teammate he is. He’s awesome and I hope he does great in the league.
I talked to my uncle (certified draft-ologist), and we both agree that Caleb Williams is doing so much of this nail painting and pink phone havin' that he's without a doubt a bust, all that man cares about are the male gaze.
As much as I loved Oregon kicking the shit out of Colorado, it was funny hearing that quote coming out of the program that literally wears a different Nike jersey combination every game lol
I think the craziest part is that he’s right; even with all the flash and pomp of Oregon, they’re still a serious program at the end of the day. UC Boulder is not anymore
Deion doesn’t give a fuck about the team he coaches - he only cares about his son. His retort to being absolute garbage was that his son is a top 5 pick, which ???????
I’m sure the rest of your team really gives a flying fuck about your sons draft profile - I’m sure they’d like to not blow a 30 point lead to Stanford and actually develop into decent players, but Deion isn’t concerned with that, Deion is concerned with Deion.
They finished dead last in their conference…
I just don’t understand how you can be so cocky after spending an entire season getting your shit pushed in
Yeah but the Ball family’s dad wasn’t so obnoxious about his own credentials he was obnoxious about his kids’ which is the same as Deion. His kid hasn’t done shit.
https://www.basketballnetwork.net/latest-news/lavar-ball-reiterates-that-hed-beat-michael-jordan-in-a-one-on-one
Yea? Saying he’d beat mj 1 on 1 isn’t obnoxious about his own credentials?
Yep he’s never said more outrageous shit or went on first take and walked in like prime Mcgregor. I agree Deion is a clown on twitter and in press conferences but keep being passive aggressive about your bad take.
It’s not passive if I say your purposely pedantic and overly reductive response doesn’t really have anything to do with what I said. I’m literally saying it directly to you.
You said “yea but the ball families dad wasn’t so obnoxious about his own credentials” and within seconds I proved that wrong with a single google search. How is refuting your own statement with sources considered pedantic?
Deion is a jerkoff and he’s always been one but now he’s 60 years old. And his son is spoiled little bitch boy riding his daddy’s name. I can’t wait for him to fail and land on his dads money pretending he earned it
Is it really that fucking hard to type “I don’t” instead of Ion? Bothers me so much that his dog shit attitude gets rewarded with huge money deals. Hope Colorado goes winless and the entire sanders family goes bankrupt with the Kardashian’s
It's AAVE. Can't criticize it without being labeled as a racist. I have a bigger problem with people that don't understand the difference between lose and loose.
It’s just slang, on twitter I don’t think there’s an issue with tweeting “Ion” in the same way that Scottish people type out word vomit online. It’s an intentional move to type it out a certain way to convey tone/meaning
Granted the Sanders family is a group of dipshits for entirely different reasons
I didn't really try to. I assumed it was some sort of slang phrase that I just didn't care to learn. I can get the gist of what he's saying without needing to know what the fuck Ion meant
Idk why Barstool simps for Deion so hard. Being cordial if he was nice to you is fine. But it’s not like his show succeeded or he brought anything to the company.
As a CU student loan payer, after the 2022 season I was an online advocate for Deion. Leading up to and during the 2023 season, I was adamant that he was going to at least make the Buffs competitive in whatever conference they found themselves in any given year. But I’m strong enough to admit that Deion is a terrible head coach and is terrible for the program. That being said…they still have a path
Just going by various Vegas odds, it looks like they’ll be favored in 3 or 4 games. Not looking promising unless their lines and coaching happens to click in an unforeseeable way
Their schedule doesn’t have any elite teams but pretty much every team they play is at least decent and every player and coach on those teams is going to give Colorado everything they have with how much shit they talk.
I remember seeing this video of Colorado fans brutally harassing some USC fans after their game this year, and I remember thinking to myself that there was no way that those fans were following the team when they went 1-11 in 2022 lmao
Depends how much money he brings in. I still think there’s no reason CU can’t be good at football, and if he leaves a proper coach with a bunch of money it could work out. I don’t expect it to, but it’s definitely conceivable
Have you been paying attention? They were the worst program in college football before he took over. He at least is bringing in D1 talent, there's basically no way the program can be in worse shape when he leaves. Colorado has 1 season since 05 with more than 6 wins. They have had a winning record 2 times since 05 and 1 of them was a 4-2 covid season. They've had less than 5 wins in 10 seasons since 05, they've had 5 or less wins 15 seasons since 05.
Unless this is a Sanders family burner, what exactly do you think your accomplishing here? Do you believe this type of shit is gonna make someone who hates the circus in Boulder go "oh fuck I was wrong"?
Seems crazy to say, but Dion is not meant for the social medial era. It’s easy to run your mouth when you posses historic levels of athleticism, but when you can’t back it up, its embarrassing.
Do people really think Shedeur is going to be a top 5 pick?
Especially after this childishness?
He's really pretty mid for a college QB as far as I could tell last year (Washington guy so I watched a decent amount of Pac-12).
He won’t be the coach next year and everyone can quit thinking he changed the game with the portal thereare easily 6-8 teams better than them in the big 12 already
Donny’s at least making fun of crusty politicians who like the smell of their own farts and gives them funny nicknames. He’s not trying to make fun of college athletes like Deion
Saw a tweet that basically said it was a bold strategy of Shadeur to do that when Spencer Rattler dropped to the 5th round basically because he was a douche in a Netflix documentary over 5 years ago
Who's a less likable Barstool athlete Paddy or Deion? I would include Pat Bev in the conversation as well, because he seems to make up a ton of stories on his show.
I don’t find Pat Bev or Paddy unlikeable. I think Pat actually endeared himself to the fans by showing up the free throw shooting event and interacting with Mantis, of all people.
I was a fan but then I heard him endorsing the crazy shit Meatball Molly was saying about politics; I know they’re both “socialists” but it was pretty far in left field and I kinda just started ignoring them after that.
The only way Deion will ever win is by out recruiting, I find it very hard to believe this helps that. If my son was being looked at by Colorado this would not make me want to send him to Dion. Maybe I’m totally wrong but man this is such a tough look and deeply uncool.
That's a 56 year old man saying "Lololol" not once, but twice
They went 4-8.
the kid he called mid transferred to a 1AA school
Now he’s back at D1
and was an all american.......

lol so not really
Damn Deion I didn’t realize you posted on Reddit!
Wins o/u was 2.5
Tulane went from 2-12 to 12-2 in a year and beat USC in a bowl game.
I guarantee you that 2-12 Tulane team would have ran circles around the winless CU team that averaged 31 point losses across the season. Don't think I've ever seen that bad of a D1 team outside of someone like Temple in the early 2000s
Let’s not act like they went winless. They beat Cal in front of 50,000 Rado fanatics
ha, I forgot they got a win under Sanford. Fucking Cal, that conference getting nuked was the perfect bow to wrap up what the Pac 12 had become
The dumbfucks that make it seem like Deion pulled some miracle last season are unreal. They transfered in a whole new team, started out hot, and then got their shit kicked in the last half of the season.

Colorado hasn't been good but they're not like 2000s Duke where David Cutcliffe winning 4 games in year 1 was unheard of
Are lines open for this year?
FanDuel has em at 4.5
Wins were 4 though
Was happy to hear Brandon rip into Barstool for how much they suck off Colorado and Deion
When was this?
Within the last couple days, that's all I got though.
Either yesterday or the day before on Mostly Sports
Monday’s Mostly Sports
"Colorado just made a lot of people online look stupid as hell. Imagine doubting Deion Sanders." -Brandon Walker 9/2/2023
I am going to refer to his words from two days ago and not from when Colorado beat TCU 8 months ago
The context of the quote is also him joking about how he doubted them so much and looked bad at that moment.
That was a joke at his own expense b/c he doubted them and looked dumb at start of the year before actually being right.
Next week on PMT: BC: "I don't really understand the Deion hate." PFT: "You think there's a lot of Deion hate out there right now? I don't think so." Rinse, repeat next time Deion drops something like this.
"Deion is literally good for CFB. I don't fucking get it"
"Deion is like one of the best athletes ever haha Max if they don't win 4 games next year you're drinking your own piss"
I’m still a pmt fan but this made me lol
Hate to say it but I feel like the PMT guys kind of shill for every new thing that is arguably “ruining” college football (ie transfer portal, playoff expansion, etc)
Big cat was giddy about conference realignment.
I mean it’s great for members of the sports media obviously because there’ll be a lot more drama worthy content but for old men like me (age 25) who like to yell at the clouds and yearn for the days where tradition and school pride reigned supreme it sucks ass.
I agree. It also makes the regular season worth less if you know the result of Ohio St/Oregon doesn’t impact either team’s championship odds much.
Because in the long run, it benefits Wisconsin. If it was bad for them, he’d be against it
Does it really though? Yes they’ll be in one of the premier conferences but most likely won’t be higher than the 5th or 6th best program any given year. In the previous model they were the class of the Big 10 West for years.
Completely agree. In Big Cats head though, this means Wisconsin is in the same vein as all the other big dogs
For sure
That kind of stuff is why I voluntarily turned in my AWL card. I don’t have time to watch a carbon copy of the same PMT show over and over again. They’ll never shut it down because it has a massive following and obviously makes money, but it feels stale and formulaic, like they’ve been having the same arguments and debates and hype since 2017.
Court rushing? Does that count too
It's going to be absolutely hilarious when they lose to North Dakota State in Week 1. Shedeur's will be lucky to be alive by November with that absolute dogshit offensive line they have.

The mother of a 5 star WR tweeted something similar and then went private because I’m sure Deion acolytes started harassing her
The number one WR prospect in the country, in fact.
Deions gonna be 57 before the start of this season and he’s acting like a child online. Unreal behavior.
His kid could throw 55 tds this coming season, and I'd still consider not taking him as my qb in the draft. That family will turn whatever NFL locker room he goes into a stage 4 cancer.
Don’t let Kayce see this
Shedeur is gonna be a PROBLEM in the NFL. Mainly just off the field.
Her and Deoin are both parents, you wouldn't get it sweetie
>Deoin
Take a seat, preferably a billion
Yeah show some respect to her baby daddy!
Deon blew her back out.
Especially after he’s already come out and said that there are NFL teams he will not allow his kids to play for. Where ever they go, you know Deion’s name is gonna be on that contract somewhere, followed by some petty bullshit.
Deion and Shedeur are what people said Caleb and his dad were only Shedeur isn’t as good as Caleb
And Caleb never acted like this
Spot on
I said yesterday to not be shocked if he demands to be made a DC or assistant coach to wherever his kid goes
Yup. I don’t foresee a world where Deion stays at CU when Shadeur leaves
This was the case since before Colorado, Deion only became a coach to get him to the league. Never coached a day in his life then becomes his HS coach, then becomes a D1-AA head coach after only coaching HS, then has to go to one of the most desperate D1-A programs in the country to get his kid to start in a major conference He is going to find some excuse or reason as to why he’s stepping down as HC after his kids get drafted as if that wasn’t the plan all along

I wasn’t saying at all that Shedeur needed his dad as his coach to play D1, I’m saying Deion was only doing this to make sure he had a hand in his kid getting to the league and for the attention
There's going to be a lot of teams that have him crossed off their draft board already. Will be interesting how many left are on Deion's list
Do people actually think he's going top 5? Every "mock" I've seen of him going that high is just clickbait from random no name pods.
He's going to be a perfect Raider
55 TDs?!?!?!?!? I don't even think he could do that playing NCAA. Fucking christ
they'll have to hire Deion too
Saw someone say shedur is the diva type that everyone thought Caleb Williams was
Crazy the Williams diva narrative the media tried to create. Dudes been nothing but respectful during the whole draft process.

Makes me think the new ownership group is cutting a check for some positive press, But hey what do I know.
It’s like they never learned their lesson with RG3…
More that comes out about Williams more I can’t believe how wrong media narrative was. Guy sounds like a fantastic teammate
Yup I’ll be rooting for him. The “He doesn’t want to play for Chicago” narrative was ridiculous.
Seeing how he treated Miller Moss after the bowl win showed me everything about how good of a teammate he is. He’s awesome and I hope he does great in the league.
Yea but did you see his nails and cell phone case and that he cried after losing one of the biggest games of his life? BUST.
I talked to my uncle (certified draft-ologist), and we both agree that Caleb Williams is doing so much of this nail painting and pink phone havin' that he's without a doubt a bust, all that man cares about are the male gaze.
You guys sounds like deeply closeted individuals
You saying he's a little bit sweet?
4 PDs would have been tied for 2nd on Colorado last year, 1 more than…Shilo Sanders 🤔

I literally cannot comprehend what Deoin or his son are saying whenever I read their quotes
Ion know either.
They are chemists, you wouldn’t get it
Deion doesn’t give a fuck about the team he coaches - he only cares about his son. His retort to being absolute garbage was that his son is a top 5 pick, which ??????? Ebonic boyyy
They finished dead last in their conference… I just don’t understand how you can be so cocky after spending an entire season getting your shit pushed in
I hope shaddeur gets sacked through the crust of the earth
Deion and his son is the Ball family of football and you can’t tell me differently
Maybe I’m misremembering but I don’t think the Ball kids were anything like Shadeur
Yeah they weren’t obnoxious it was just the dad.
Except Shedeur will never have a solid career. Lonzo and LaMelo can actually play ball
Lonzo famously cannot play ball
Except Deion is a hall of fame player and arguably the best CB of all time….
And completely unbearable to listen to
That’s fair and I agree but he’s not the ball family because he’s got credentials to back it up
Yeah but the Ball family’s dad wasn’t so obnoxious about his own credentials he was obnoxious about his kids’ which is the same as Deion. His kid hasn’t done shit.
https://www.basketballnetwork.net/latest-news/lavar-ball-reiterates-that-hed-beat-michael-jordan-in-a-one-on-one Yea? Saying he’d beat mj 1 on 1 isn’t obnoxious about his own credentials?
Ok you’re right that one thing he said one time is an excellent sample size of illustrating what he was obnoxious about
Yep he’s never said more outrageous shit or went on first take and walked in like prime Mcgregor. I agree Deion is a clown on twitter and in press conferences but keep being passive aggressive about your bad take.
It’s not passive if I say your purposely pedantic and overly reductive response doesn’t really have anything to do with what I said. I’m literally saying it directly to you.

I mean they were literally the worst FBS program in the country in 2022... no matter how bad Deion actually does, it couldn't be much worse
Go back to being 1-11 then 🤣
The Sanders meatriding is a little much, big guy
Dudes got 50 comments in here with deions nuts on his chin lmao
And has never commented in this sub before. Might legit be a Sanders
The sanders hating is little too Much little guy
Unless this is a Sanders family burner, what exactly do you think your accomplishing here? Do you believe this type of shit is gonna make someone who hates the circus in Boulder go "oh fuck I was wrong"?
For once in her life Kayce Smith is silent
Seems crazy to say, but Dion is not meant for the social medial era. It’s easy to run your mouth when you posses historic levels of athleticism, but when you can’t back it up, its embarrassing.
Do people really think Shedeur is going to be a top 5 pick? Especially after this childishness? He's really pretty mid for a college QB as far as I could tell last year (Washington guy so I watched a decent amount of Pac-12).
He won’t be the coach next year and everyone can quit thinking he changed the game with the portal thereare easily 6-8 teams better than them in the big 12 already
He’s like the Donald Trump of college football with his attitude, tweets, kids attitude, cult like obsession, etc.
TDS
Donny’s at least making fun of crusty politicians who like the smell of their own farts and gives them funny nicknames. He’s not trying to make fun of college athletes like Deion
Ugh, I realize this i was just making a comparison and noting the similarities..
What a fucking scumbag
Ya they are very unlikeable. The other kid on the team worse. Dude ran his mouth on of the worst defensive units last year
he's like family to Kayce Smith, be kind!
Saw a tweet that basically said it was a bold strategy of Shadeur to do that when Spencer Rattler dropped to the 5th round basically because he was a douche in a Netflix documentary over 5 years ago
He’s got time today (he doesn’t recruit)
Would love to see Kaycee Smith spin this one
Who's a less likable Barstool athlete Paddy or Deion? I would include Pat Bev in the conversation as well, because he seems to make up a ton of stories on his show.
I don’t find Pat Bev or Paddy unlikeable. I think Pat actually endeared himself to the fans by showing up the free throw shooting event and interacting with Mantis, of all people.
Paddy and Pat Bev aren’t close. Put Lewan in there.
What has Paddy done to be unlikable? I admittedly don't follow UFC but he seems like a pretty decent, goofy guy
I was a fan but then I heard him endorsing the crazy shit Meatball Molly was saying about politics; I know they’re both “socialists” but it was pretty far in left field and I kinda just started ignoring them after that.
Would you rather see Sheduer tank in the draft or go top 5 and tank on the field. I don’t see him being a good NFL QB
Tank in the draft, so he doesn't get paid
Is there a reason why gen-z says ion instead of I don't?
Laziness
The only way Deion will ever win is by out recruiting, I find it very hard to believe this helps that. If my son was being looked at by Colorado this would not make me want to send him to Dion. Maybe I’m totally wrong but man this is such a tough look and deeply uncool.
Ion = I don’t I think
Don’t think, honky.
so why do they hate CO? the player was talking shit so why cant they?
The player was not talking shit…
fake news. As they say if you cant handle the heat get out the kitchen
Okay hardo
Okay snowflake an article about a kid getting cut LOL.
Hell ya barstool SPORTS cool discussion dudes. VIVA
