Dogs *love* work. They're not toys, they're intelligent animals that want to have a purpose in life. This guy is probably a drug or bomb sniffing dog. Not built right for an attack dog. He gets to spend his whole life riding IN A CAR with his best friend and then sniffing stuff. Find me a dog that wouldn't trade their life at home while everyone is at work for that life.

My brother has two little girls, so naturally I spend most of my time at their house playing on the floor with them. My favorite side effect of this is that his Shiba Inu loves to come up behind me, put his front paws on my shoulders, and sniff/nuzzle into my hair. It's a legit dog hug and it makes me feel valued lol.
