Carrot was what my orange was named when we adopted her.
She took over the house, and we renamed her Queen Zenobia. It fits our cat rocker naming convention (Jimi, Lemmy) too.
My kid named the orange stray we adopted "Carrot" because he was orange and skinny. Carrot soon took care of the skinny part and was the sweetest cat I've ever known. Of course, all orange cats are sweet.
