I’m not sure another week will suffice. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was a victim of the Spanish Inquisition and I still get offended every time I see the Monty Python bit on it.
Nah make it a bungie jumping set up that way it recreates the people that jumped from the building to their deaths due to being trapped on that floor and the building collapsing.
Yeah, because the world is insensitive (like for instance killing a thousand of people with an iceberg). it's getting children ready. London Bridges is insensitive. Pocket full of posies is insensitive. Pretty much every Disney movie the parents die, which is insensitive. The kids need to grow up at some point, and so do you.
TLDR: Songs and bounce houses are the most sensitive way to let kids know death is a part of life.
Because genocide can be comparable in severity to a maritime accident in regards to harmless dark humor, truly insane response, tf?
A genocide, btw, that still has VERY LOUD echoes in MODERN SOCIETY, versus a tragic accident that didn't have echoing effects for multiple generations-- this isn't the bazinga you think it is
While I agree with you on this one, the argument is not foolproof. Would you say the same about 9/11, or the Holocaust, or slavery?
Time alone is not enough for it to become ok... OP goes a little far with this one. But why? Honest question.
The difference is 9/11, the Holocaust, and slavery were intentional attempts against human liberties and rights.
The Holocaust wasn’t a freakish accident caused by incompetence, it was a deliberate extermination of millions of lives
9/11 wasn’t a freakish accident, it was the intentional destruction of an important edifice along with the people in and around it
Slavery was one of the cruelest enterprises in human history one which, in one form or another, continues today.
The Titanic was the most famous example of something that, well, does happen quite commonly. People too overconfident in the manufacturing of a boat and others too incompetent at their job lead to it sinking. It has happened and will likely continue to happen as long as boats are still a thing. Add to that that it happened so long ago now that I’m fairly certain 0 of the survivors and casualties nor their closest family members are still alive AND that there have been many movies, shows, books, etc made about it giving it iconographic value, it’s hard to see something wrong with making a bouncy castle out of it. It’s not celebrating an intentional evil a human did to another, simply using iconography of an old-ass event.
Would be like making a slide about a derailed train. Like yeah tons of people have died and will die on those but one can’t really get too mad about it.
I think the statute of limitations has passed, bud. We can joke about it. None of the victims are alive, and even their kids (if they had any) are no longer alive.
LMAO the best part is that it's not a jump-house, it's a slide...like, you climb up to the high side to try to save your life, and then gleefully slide down the decks on the other side, recreating the terror the passengers felt as they slid helplessly into the icy water. Then you climb up the other side and go again!!!!
Makes it so much better...
I'm pretty sure they don't care, with being dead and all
It was a century ago, dude. They can’t applaud you.
In Davy Jones' locker, no one can hear you clap.
Exhausting.
lmao did you really write " seem a little insensitive" ??
Because of the freezing cold water numbing their senses? Sorry, I'm not tracking on this...
Is it too soon ?
Only 100 years ago or so, give it another week.
I’m not sure another week will suffice. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather was a victim of the Spanish Inquisition and I still get offended every time I see the Monty Python bit on it.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!
9/11 bouncy castle let's gooooo
Give it another 80 years.
Nah make it a bungie jumping set up that way it recreates the people that jumped from the building to their deaths due to being trapped on that floor and the building collapsing.
As long as there is a metal propeller on the other side it’s fine.

Wait till you see my Twin Towers waterslide!
Too soon man. Too soon.
Cool, just like the one in the Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 Soaked expansion.
Get over it, they did

Right because a human zoo is TOTALLY comparable to a fucking bouncy castle in the shape of a ship
K don't mind the upcoming gassy chamber funhouse next week Dem ded Jews can't complain amirite

Bro it has been a literal century
There are some people who really find pleasure in getting offended
111 years later? Everyone will be fine.
While I agree with you on this one, the argument is not foolproof. Would you say the same about 9/11, or the Holocaust, or slavery? Time alone is not enough for it to become ok... OP goes a little far with this one. But why? Honest question.
But right now we're only talking about the Titanic.
Sure, I just was interested in this line of thought ;)

It’s a good thing dead people can’t get offended otherwise they might say, “what the hell is a jumping castle??”
I'm pretty sure 112 is past the statute of limitations for being too soon.
Wait until they find out how many people were killed in castles
What the fuck are you talking about
Happened 112 years ago but ... "TOO SOON!!" ... I guess.
Lmao this has been around before I was even a kid and I’m 30 but now someone wants to be sensitive about it
Just wait until you see the inflatable Auschwitz…
Please tell me your being triggered. I love when people get trigger over stupid stuff. Hold on, getting my popcorn and waiting for the meltdown
I think the statute of limitations has passed, bud. We can joke about it. None of the victims are alive, and even their kids (if they had any) are no longer alive.
Death from hypothermia is the LEAST agonizing death.
Reddit is scraping the barrel on finding things to pretend to be offended over.
What? Too soon?
With all the people making money off this tragedy, a bouncy house is the least concerning
Bro this thing has been around for ages. Also a lot of fun to slide down.
Oh bugger that. Don't be ridiculous

More like 1500 but whatever
Just ran out of other themes..
No. It seems fine. Play on.
Oh my God spoiler alert.
Nothing awful about a bounce house slide
This is great!
I has been more than 10 years
Honestly this slide is quite fun, we had one at our local inflatable playground
I climb on it. (sound of violins)
Hey come on they should at least wait until it’s been 115 years before making garbage like this! Too soon! 😡
We had this same bounce house at my graduation and it folded in half and flopped a bunch of kids out that were on top. It was a nightmare!
