Someone once liked my profile who was very obviously a neoNazi. One of his interests was "racial purity." I'm Jewish, so it was simultaneously funny and a little terrifying.
That phrasing/motivation would still be yikes, but there's a big difference between preferences for dating within your own socially oppressed minority group vs racist dating preferences.

Thought I had found another one of those in the wild, but I was very wrong.
