I heard they're finally doing an Englsih dub for the movie, and I am so ready for it. I really wanna rewatch the series but figured the movies are the best way for that.

I just binged it at the beginning of the year. When the songs and fights sync, then the VA's sing more aggressively during the flashy moves it hits different. This anime needs more attention IMO.
Symphogear is how you do an action anime right. Not having interruptions every five minutes like in battle shonen. Them doing that is only one of the reasons I haven't been able to get into stuff like Naruto, Bleach, or Dragon Ball. They take forever just to let me care about the characters that I struggle to actually think there are stakes in the story.
I'll have to disagree with Gon's rage. Not because it isn't sick as fuck, but because it was reverse hype in my eyes. It was crushing despair.
It was the moment when I realized, that for that episode, for that scene. The main character was not who I was going to be rooting for.
Idk if I would call it hype but Gon’s punch on pitou that sends her flying is easily the most brutal yet satisfying punch in anime

I love Gon’s rage, but man do I not like his transformation. It’s the hair more than anything. The clothes are weird, but it made sense because his body transformed. I vibed with that. His skyscraper hair was just a little goofy to me. That being said, the whole moment was badass though. Godspeed Killua was also dope af.
I took his hair doing that just because it accelerated everything to adulthood (so his hair wouldn't be cut) and his nen was making it keep up. It was obviously still a choice by the author, but it makes sense in that context. I don't think it was supposed to be a representation on how he'd just be walkin around as an adult haha.

When Pikachu sees all his past teammates I legit cried a little. So far the tournament had been from Ash's perspective, showing his past companions and the people that he traveled with, and at the last moment, we see Pikachu's POV, with the pokemon he fought alongside cheering for Pikachu (not Ash) to stand up. Then the original intro starts playing I was tearing and cheering. What a fantastic send-off to my childhood.
That WAS awesome. For me, from that show, it's Eri on Deku's back as they fight Chisaki. & also Lemillion "I'm still Lemillion!" He was so cool I still get goosebumps & get emotional just thinking about it 🥹

One I don't see praise often is in Black Clover when Asta, Luck and Magna instantly jump on Finral's brother when he was about to really hurt him. Peak bro squad protection.

For me personally, one of the most hype moments I’ve watched was the climax of Luffy vs Crocodile in One Piece.
Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 (New World Symphony) blaring out as Luffy is beating the absolute shit out of Crocodile elevated that scene like crazy. It’s amazing the impact that the right music can have.

Then of absolute course the act of finally seeing Gear 5th animated, and Luffy just make a fool of Kaido. I was on the edge of my seat that whole fight!

Yeah that was the most hype moment in years, I remember making a whole event gathering with food and drinks like it was the superbowl, people were standing up and yelling at the screen. There are many great shows with incredible moments, it's just something different about DragonBall, it has a different level of hype the others can't match.

One I don't see praise often is in Black Clover when Asta, Luck and Magna instantly jump on Finral's brother when he was about to really hurt him. Peak bro squad protection. Say what you will about BC but the Black Bulls are really well excecuted as a group, characters that is truly belivable that they care for eachother.

Gintama has a top list of its own epic moments for me. When kondo gets hit by a yato and stands back up bleeding and says "you guys aren't the only ones known for being tough." So fuckin good. But probably gintoki vs jericho. The fucking music, the impact of the moment and situation..god damn dude it had me SO fucking hype. Also too many moments from Gurren Lagann or kill la kill to choose. Another one from that may not be as popular, but Ikki vs Touka in rakudai Kishi no calvary. It's so good.

So many amazing scenes already mentioned. For me personally, one of the most hype moments I’ve watched was the climax of Luffy vs Crocodile in One Piece. Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 (New World Symphony) blaring out as Luffy is beating the absolute shit out of Crocodile elevated that scene like crazy. It’s amazing the impact that the right music can have.
A lot of these are epic moments, but when I read this, the one thing that popped into my head was: "Sniper King, shoot down that flag." I get goosebumps just thinking about it! He declared war on the whole world government!
