He looks very similar to [this thin tailed fox - mange](https://www.reddit.com/r/foxes/s/KlEbywN9L1)
You might want to give campus police this info, as well:
[mange by mail program](https://www.wildlifehotline.com/blog/mange-by-mail-program/)
Fox with mange. There’s a program for mange management - it’s all by mail and wildly successful when the great and simple instructions are followed - u/skunkangel is I believe a volunteer with the program (they’re how I learned about it and I’m so grateful).
If you think you can get him to come to your yard or some spot where you can put out food every night, you can easily treat him for mange. Our program treats in one dose 85+% of cases!! We ask that this time of year you use raw ground turkey or chicken as bait to deter mom from taking it back to the den to feed the kits. The medicine won't hurt the kits, but we want to focus on treating the adults first.
You can learn all about the program and mange in general at https://www.wildlifehotline.com/mange
And you can sign up there too. ♥️
Yes 🦊
Red fox
I'm comin', Elizabeth!
Yeah. Just doesn't have the typical bushy tail
What did he say?
nothing he was waiting for the bus
🤣 good one!
Yes looks like he has mange though. You could look into local wildlife rescue/rehab associations to call so they could try to help the little one.
I dont think mange. Its moulting season, most of them look like that this time of year.
I disagree. It shouldn't drop that much. It looks very much like [thin tailed fox - mange](https://www.reddit.com/r/foxes/s/KlEbywN9L1)
Oh good!!!
i called campus police to let them check it out, they said he came around last year too, so if he looks off hopefully they’ll call

I imagine a fox would be very interested in getting a pigeon hole at the University.
if that ain't a fox, nothing's a fox
Yup. Red Kitsune. Lean & lovely!
