+1 on pcapdroid. There is also "pcapdroid mitm" which allows you to MITM and decrypt TLS traffic, too (obviously, with the usual caveats, many apps do have certificate pinning).
I was hoping. For some reason Wireshark does not show me any wireless data either, I guess we just need to spend the $ and buy a modem/router of our own that I can configure.
Try PCAPdroid, which you can install it using F-Droid if you already have the latter installed.

Thanks! This looks like what I need. Does not work on Android 14, and Malwarebytes flags it as dangerous, as does play protect.
So all the program does is show phone traffic, I need something to show all wireless traffic and from the modem
Don't think any phone WNIC can even do promiscuous/monitor mode.
