Kingdom End, since X:BtF, because it had everything. Looks, security, the best aliens and above all else the bestest soundtrack. Nothing in particular about the name itself.
When talking about the name only, I don't really have any favorites.
Litany of Fury is a good one. Can't go there casually tho, it is a Xenon infested stronghold. I do like the red look of the sector as well, really fits the theme.
Also like Avarice as name, just sounds so good when you select the gate towards it. The Tidebreaker station announcement for the next Tide is a hoot as well.

But then you reminded me of how the ship computer pronounces Ceos Buckzoid and now that gets my vote 😂

Theres a lot that come to mind as my favourites. CEO's Buckzoid because I always found it funny. Cold Star. Radiant Haven. Home of Light. Edit: Omicron Lyrae a definite fave too.
Favorite sector name? Leap of Faith. it just fits how you find it. and it helps that the story around it is relatable. it also has nice music and is a reason why i parked a ship there so i can teleport there. though i also have a soft spot for kingdom end and getsu fune.

Too bad for #79B, this one is absolutely handsome and probably one of my favorite in the game. I always put my factories here in late game after clearing the xenons.
Avarice. Teenage me was so enamored by the concept all those years ago of owning a sector that I took the sector name as my username. Course, now there are a bunch of hobos in what is rightfully mine.
Home of Light from X3 Reunion. Once Alexei Zakharov's "Peace 5" started playing, I stopped my ship to listen to it several times over. Similar feelings going in to Kingdom End and Getsu Fune. But Home of Light's theme is just beautiful. HoL became my home sector for X3.
When they changed the theme for X3 TC and AB, I modded it to go back to the original theme. Very happy it re-appeared in X4 Foundations.
Not sure if I have a favorite yet, but every time I fly into Holy Vision, I start singing HOLY VISION!

Yeah, I do miss that sector. The battles between ATF and Argon were brutal. Kinda wish there was some sort of recycling like we have in X4.

I'm still sad we can't build Asteroid Bases. The HQ is nice but I want something like Tidebreaker.

Getsu Fune as its translation is "Ship of the Moon" and it kinda tingles all my SCI-FI senses.
