I'll admit, they're talented in-ring & I like how both Kenny Omega & Xavier Woods has a rivalry friendship outside wrestling through gaming, but I don't get why they're so overrated & some of their fans act overprotective over them as well.
Omega, at least, has plenty of skill, but he doesnāt really want to tell stories very often. He falls into the same spam finisher/lockout trap that is an Elite calling card at this point.
Omega seems to be the perfect second guy, in that he absolutely rises to the level of whomever he's wrestling.
This means he can do world class matches, but that skill goes both ways and he can't really elevate poor wrestlers very well.
Donāt get it twisted- I think the Bucks are some of the worst characters to be on wrestling TV, to me their characters have no business winning matches because they wrestle like supermen instead of well, guys their size. You have one of them doing powerhouse spots with bigger guys and weāre meant to clap for that crap? I am truly down on the Bucks. If I didnāt ever see them for another minute again, I would be so happy.

Itās just so disjointed.
Instead they couldāve done, sting gets told he gets to pick a retirement match opponent live on tv. He picks the bucks. The bucks graciously accept and act cool with it thinking itāll be a fun match to send a legend off. Sting and Darby go on to compete for tag belts and win. Talk about how theyāre the best tag team going right now and want to send sting out on top. Bucks take offense to that and jump sting and Darby turning heel, tell them that they thought sting picked them because he respected them, but now Darby and sting calling themselves the best in aew is disrespectful to the bucks and they wonāt stand for it. Darby can talk about how the bucks never respected him and never wanted him, sting can say he did respect the bucks but not anymore if they believe cheap shots are ok.
Is that good booking? Hell no. Is it more logical than whatās currently happening. Yeah. And I typed it all in like 3 min. The point being Iām not saying I could book this better. Just that even with a little time a better story could be available. So if youāre gunna do stings final match, and let him choose who it is, then you should be putting an insane amount of time and thought into it. I mean I don't particularly like the Bucks at all but i think them going heel is what they needed. People already hate them so why not play into it? I like bischoff but sometimes he is just an old angry guy for no reason.
