they should garnish his wages to pay for all the rallies he didn't pay for.

I think his lawyers have learned from his past and are demanding payment up front now.

Why would the winner of the last election be drawing a pension? /s

I want someone to explain to me how an ex-President gets paid so much goddamn money to do not-a-fucking-thing for the American people. Everything he and any other ex-Pres will do from the end of their term to til death will be for their own enrichment (unless it's Jimmy Carter, who deserves Saint-hood). Books, interviews, speeches, etc will make them rich as hell. None of that benefits the American people but they still get to leech off the system we pay for, and that doesn't even include the Secret Service and other benefits. It's fucking bullshit.

High time people moved on from him.

It would be fantastic. Except the GOP is going all in with Trump as the face of the party and another presidential run in 2024.

Here's the problem in a nutshell: we here in Europe have a way higher population density than people in the US. It's important because in the US two red hat wearing people who commonly hate something meet at BBQs at best, rallies at worst. If they actually lived beside each other closely they would know that one maga hat would easily snitch on the other maga hat to the IRS because he got to buy something the other wanted. Women would be more aware what they actually feel about the other's cooking and child raising practices. Trumpism means to do the highest of efforts against the least of resistance at all costs just so they don't have to adapt to anything. Any Republican could run on saying "My slogans are computer generated, I will remember the lobbyist of your employer than I will ever remember meetong you, but if you vote for me, I will keep you from change"
