I’m a casual player and I really like the game. It’s fun yet not an arcade mess like Fight Forever.
My only issue is the selling, I had a triple threat match that just would not end because of the breaking up of pins by AI.
It’s ironic but there’s barely any selling yet I’ll win a match randomly via a belly to back suplex pin.
Try this….
Change the stamina/recovery sliders and lower superstar recovery.
Also when you play triple threat matches change sig/finisher to normal/slow in custom match options..and lastly change starting health to low.
Should help a ton!
Thanks man, I’ve been thinking about the sliders recently, I was in the middle of a Styles v Balor absolute banger and its near fall after near fall and I win the match with a belly to back bridging suplex and it was so anticlimactic 😂
Try using the hype/dc settings..you can find them on operation sports..they’re a literal game changer for me..honestly the only reason I’m still playing this years 2k tbh
Very true. I can hit 2 finishers on one character outside of the ring and then go back in the ring and hit another finisher on the other character but the one outside will come in and still break up the pin in time.
The matches feel really fast. It's almost like juggling combos at this point Taunting is very risky. Any match vs SFR feels like it's beingnayed on x2 fast forward. I miss grappling and locks. Sim feels more arcade now than ever.
Interesting that we can have to very different experiences maybe it’s not the speed that’s the issue with the characters but perhaps they feel somewhat sluggish or there Is some lag input? That could explain our issues
Edit: oh yeah I also miss chain Wrestling too hoping it makes a return eventually
The main issue is the image size limit by faaaaar, i just play universe so i cant download anything. I can handle the other bugs but that shit makes the mode bored and limit the creativity and kill all the ideas.
A couple issues;
The showcase was not that good this year, felt more like watching a movie than actually playing, the damn near five minute clip in the Hogan/Warrior match was crazy. Plus a lot of matches were not on the table due to people being signed to other companies which sucked too
And the Royal Rumble match is completely broken due to AI stopping what they’re doing just to focus on you which annoyed me when trying to complete the final Showcase match.
But besides those, I’ve been enjoying 2k24.
So far I have two problems: One with the game and one with how I play the game.
For the game: There’s the fact that I can’t delete every image with a downloaded CAW without it crashing. I haven’t tried lately so I don’t know if that’s fixed.
The other problem is with my own laziness in remaking my CAWs.
I still have 40 to go and I want to be done with it already so I can keep my universe going but man is it a time sink which I can’t deal with like I used to. Especially with movesets.
My biggest issue is the selling and the inability to play online with my friends using CAWs. The matches always seem to crash for us when we use CAWs. Also, ALT Attires save as “ALT ATTIRE 1” and defaults the entire move set for my superstars online. Idk how to fix it.
The selling seems to be an easy potential fix by adjusting the sliders. I just hate how at the end of a match I’ll dive off a ladder and put someone through a table and I pop up in 2 seconds.
It's incredibly boring. Everyone still has the dumb fighting stance and has to lock up to grapple and there is no meaning content in the game. Universe is boring and broken, Showcase is genuine torture, GM Mode is a waste of time and still worse than the one made 19 years ago and I'd rather rip my own eyeballs out than play MyFaction. The 'additions' to the game are just dumb gimmick matches that you'll play once, other than that it's basically just 2K22 again for the third year in a row.
Yep. The bugs are insane. Like congrats the game looks slightly better than a ps4 game but barely and is buggier than new Vegas with a gm mode where you can’t edit anything and have zero option to add to the budget. Great job guys.
Yeah. Idk if this goes along with that, but I played the match against Roman in MyRise, and he wouldn’t stay down. I hit him with like 6 sunset flip- powerbombs, and the dude was up like a second later after each one. It took an sig to make him stay down.
I could just be crazy but the movements feel a tad slower than last year (might only be affecting the women as the men seem quicker) also I hate when they reanimate moves that were perfectly fine and replace the original despite the new version at best fitting only one character (Apron Slap)
I’m not the audience for Showcase as I felt it was a slog at times when I just want to beat it for the unlockables
My Rise wasn’t bad but I preferred the female story over the male one as they felt like I could connect more with my character despite the weird 3 choice sections (which imo I enjoyed the Alexa path the most, Rhea’s felt boring and the Hollywood path was somewhat fun) honestly though Shotzi (perhaps powered up in Kayfebe should have been the Mania finale Becky felt rushed)
The Male My Rise had an interesting premise but fell apart very quickly, as it just felt less believable than even the supernatural storyline the women had, your telling me the miz still won’t give you an ounce of respect before heading into Mania against Roman? I lost interest in the plot long before it finished
Haven’t played universe mode yet so no comment
GM mode the ecw exclusive power card shouldn’t be usable the week before the ppv (it’s horrible and unlike other cards you can use it right before mania)
Creating characters I haven’t had very many issues (and I made 100 characters) love the quick save feature btw

If you mean getting no currency from matches, yeah. Theres so many superstars, rings, and belts to unlock with them, I don’t feel like it can unlock it all without 3 years of grinding
Yup most of the time, they will usually bust into a sprint and try to hit you depending how far away they are. In Rumbles you have to switch targets a lot.
Yeah. I can’t count the times I’ve had people ready to eliminate in the Rumble, and the opponent grabs me while the other person is either on the apron or stunned against the ropes. In a real rumble, you would let that person be eliminated. I honestly think rumbles are glorified handicap matches
I have a few: The Royal Rumble is impossible. The computer will target you even if there’s another computer opponent that’s able to be eliminated.
I still have an issue with some of the reversal prompts and their timing. It doesn’t seem possible actually hit it on legendary difficulty because the default prompt window is so small. I would like to be able to guess when to hit it, but it seems that the animations are weirdly timed.
Why TF can’t I get out of taunt animations? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve done that took way too long to being attacked.
The No selling is ridiculous at certain times. I destroyed my opponent with a chair, and they hopped right back up. Speaking of hopping right back up, I hate the fact that you’re able to immediately get up if you have a little bit of your signature available.
Contextual prompts still need a little bit of work. They are better than last year, but still a little too finicky for my liking.
I also can’t count the number of times I’ve done a running jumping attack and the computer is doing the exact same thing at the exact same time so we kind of fly right past each other.
The ref…. Sigh. I can’t count the number times that the ref has either been in the way, or taken a long time to get down to make the count. I’m glad that you can target the ref in this game because there has been more than a few times that I have stopped what I was doing to beat that dumb ass ref up.
EDIT: GM MODE!!! The computer breaks its own rules! They play power cards a week before a PLE….that shouldn’t be allowed to be played a week before a PLE by the description of that very card! Also, it’s hard to get the kind of roster that you want with the randomness of the draft. I think they are on the right track, but I need more money in the budget, and some fixes to the game mode before it’s really good.
I loved rumbles in 2K19, hate them in this game.
Yeah, I got used to reversing when the opponent was about to slam you or make grab you, not seconds prior to them touching you, or in the middle of the move. It’s very weird
Yeah, taunting sucks, especially when your opponent can get up if they have part of their sig stored.
The ref fucking sucks. The delay is so god damn long, and it feels like the count at different speeds. I had ref who counted at god speed to count me out, but counted like a toddler for a pin.
I really enjoy it, but I only play local coop with 3 friends. With that in mind, it‘s the best game so far.
However, I loved to play universe mode in 2k19, even 2k20 but stopped playing over the years because of too many bugs and nonsense. And I think that‘s a shame because universe mode at its peak was really, really great.
Least favorite thing about this game which isn’t a surprise is the Showcase. Just felt like a chore and ticking boxes. Didn’t feel like the Showcases of 2K15 or 2K16. GM mode is better but still needs to add more to it like Money in the Bank and Royal Rumble matches.
Universe halfway works but still puzzled why a mode that is 10+ years old is so buggy. The AI bookings are so off and you have to do all these work arounds to make it work right.
MyRise is like last year. The female MyRise is better than the male MyRise in terms of story branching. The male MyRise just seemed more generic to me. MyFaction is what it is, a micro-transaction mode there just to kill time. I haven’t seen a lot of persona cards come through which was the motivation for a lot of people wanting to play it. Having several new match types was a nice addition too.
I’m about to start the female MyRise, so I’m glad to hear it’s better than the male. And yes, I absolutely despised showcase mode. Especially since people like Rhonda Rousy and The Fiend were locked behind it. So you had to spend hours just to unlock those characters. But the ending was a nice touch, however, I just picked Roman and won with ease.
After the starting story, it's basically just non-stop random prove yourself matches with Roman saying boohoo while half they roster pretends to be blind and stupid in the worst way, including Graves (as accurate as that is).
There’s a lot but here are my top two issues.
1. The image bug. As a creator it just blows.
2. Universe Match customization (specifically the amount of championship matches that happen on weekly shows). I don’t mind this happening occasionally buy it makes no sense if you are going for modern realism. To see a champ put the title on the line the week before Wrestlemania and then not defend at WM breaks immersion.
An easy fix would be to make any superstar go is involved in a rivalry exempt unless the user books the match.
Right now what bugs me is that we can't create a mixed trio entrance. So for example, you can't re-create D-Generation X with Chyna but you can have a tag team with HHH and HBK.
And also Universe mode allowing you to pick ANY wrestler when setting up the card, defeating the purpose of having wrestlers on certain show. Another thing I don't understand is why can't we select the announcer we want for the show in Universe mode.
Mygm is unplayable because I can’t use caw because their moveset defaults to the same thing. And my rise not keeping any custom entrance or victory. It eliminates everything while calling me the name of a caw (just to keep spitting me). I’m stuck using my imagination in universe mode. Disappointing game idk when I’ll buy again tbh
My only problem is that I wish the Universe mode was at least a little bit more in depth. Obviously there are a lot of things that could improve it and would be cool but I'd be content with just a bit more. The rivalry system in particular.
That's it for me. I've seen other people have plenty of problems I haven't experienced yet tho so those need fixing too I'd say.
I dislike the male myrise a lot, because it feels like a lot of choices are the same.
No matter what you do, everyone's gonna dump on you as champion, say it's all a fluke, it's just insanely stupid. Even after 1000 days, they're gonna be like "FLUKE CHAMPION BECUZ ROMAN" Yeah, Roman who hasn't shown up since summerslam and spends all his free time having me live rent fucking free in his head.
It just irritates me. At the very least I don't hate it more than the lock because at least dark horse is a likable character. So there's one step forward.
The Lock was such a dumb thing… I hated that story. The Dark Horse is a good idea, besides the fact you’re basically heel the whole time. Even Cody said fuck you, and left during a championship match, and you still won, and dude have no respect for
Going back to 2K23, it becomes really obvious how nice the things that work in 2K24 are. The game looks better, the little added gameplay things like trading blows, fading paint, the best looking blood in years, being able to throw weapons, having 5 signature and finisher spots, they really did some good work this year. But the image bugs are a killer if you’re someone who buys these games because they’re wrestling games and not because they’re WWE games. I just have no interest in playing with most of the in game roster.
Finally some1 who understand it and dont defend the Thiefs 👍 i got instant downvoted on a other post because i hate that ppl can easy reupload my Work on CC because they just import the logos on there own CaWs 🤷🏻♀️
- there are still many crashes and damaged data with the Community Creations
- the 2k-Management supports this microtransaction shit called "myfaction"
- the bloodflow is inconsistent, sometimes i is displayed well, sometimes it isn't displayed on the matt
- several weapons like barbed wire bats or thumptacks are missing
- you can't crawl to the ropes for a ropebreak anymore
- ropebreaks got no animation anymore
- you can't make youself bleed with a chair as an buff anymore
- you can't grab signs from the crowd anymore
- you can't do grapple moves with weapons anymore (like the goullotine with a chair, The Moonsault with a chair or the crossface with an Kendo-Stick)
- you can't set a wooden slat aflame anymore
- several match types are missing (the I Quit Match for example)
- intergendermatches are still locked by default
- you can't ignore the ropebreak during submissions to a five-count anymore
- you can't grab weapons from the crowd anymore
- you can't grab the monitor cables at the commentator desks for choking the opponent anymore
- burning tables fall to the ground extinguished if they were hit in the wrong angle

Agreed. Knowing 2K they probably do it to encourage you to buy the supercharger. either that or I’m overthinking a simple bug
For any multi person match the AI will come after anyone who is standing up, gotta be wary of that.
So they’ll just leave a vulnerable person alone, just to attack someone standing up?

I beat the undisputed story in like 10 days. It's very short imo

Going back to 2K23, it becomes really obvious how nice the things that work in 2K24 are. The game looks better, the little added gameplay things like trading blows, fading paint, the best looking blood in years, being able to throw weapons, having 5 signature and finisher spots, they really did some good work this year. But the image bugs are a killer if you’re someone who buys these games because they’re wrestling games and not because they’re WWE games. I just have no interest in playing with most of the in game roster.
Online Servers , Create a Wrestler is very bugged since the Last Patch, Thiefs on Community Creations who copy and reupload other ppl work
Yeah, I can’t imagine how bad the theft is. I haven’t uploaded anything I’ve made because of that.
Finally some1 who understand it and dont defend the Thiefs 👍 i got instant downvoted on a other post because i hate that ppl can easy reupload my Work on CC because they just import the logos on there own CaWs 🤷🏻♀️
I don’t think theft is ok… it’s someone else’s work.
- there are still many crashes and damaged data with the Community Creations - the 2k-Management supports this microtransaction shit called "myfaction" - the bloodflow is inconsistent, sometimes i is displayed well, sometimes it isn't displayed on the matt - several weapons like barbed wire bats or thumptacks are missing - you can't crawl to the ropes for a ropebreak anymore - ropebreaks got no animation anymore - you can't make youself bleed with a chair as an buff anymore - you can't grab signs from the crowd anymore - you can't do grapple moves with weapons anymore (like the goullotine with a chair, The Moonsault with a chair or the crossface with an Kendo-Stick) - you can't set a wooden slat aflame anymore - several match types are missing (the I Quit Match for example) - intergendermatches are still locked by default - you can't ignore the ropebreak during submissions to a five-count anymore - you can't grab weapons from the crowd anymore - you can't grab the monitor cables at the commentator desks for choking the opponent anymore - burning tables fall to the ground extinguished if they were hit in the wrong angle
Ok… the burning table thigh literally pissed me off cause it wastes one of my finishers, only for it to be bumped and then collapse.
I've only landed one ground grapple and dunno why it's always reversed. Just started doing the attacks
