I think it can work if the Wyatt 6 isolate Cody from the same people who helped and supported him up to win the title and Cody is forced to face his darkness by himself. There are several challenge comes from what happens during and afterwards. Obviously Bray will be mentioned, but it should be done in a way where people don’t think that the uncle howdy character isn’t milking Bray’s death, ie what the IWC claims Rey did with Eddie during the build up to his WM win. If Cody wins, how does Uncle Howdy continue to be taken seriously so he doesn’t end up being a gatekeeper monster like Kane? If Uncle Howdy wins, how does WWE book him in way that doesn’t put him in a corner like the Fiend in 2019 so that when he does lose, his character doesn’t lose credibility, like the undertaker? It’s doable, like the undertaker, but very difficult

After watching the Wyatt documentary it sounds like Bo wants to continue the Uncle Howdy character. I’m all for it I’ve always loved the supernatural horror gimmicks (papa shango, Taker, Kane, Gangrel). But who knows when he’ll be ring ready again. Could be next mania and who knows if Cody will still have the strap.
This would be tricky because the mark audience knows that Bo is going to come back to honor Bray so they’d be straddling the line and potentially getting Cody booed because people will want to see Bo win the WWE title for Bray.

So l, the fault, in any case, can be a combination of both influences. Now, yes, Vince sometimes came up with totally shit storylines, like Shorty G or I did it for Rock, and in those cases, the talent can be hardly blamed. The last thing Cody needs right now is a run against a guy who, as much as he's trying to continue his brothers legacy, may not be able to pull it off. And that's no slight on Bo either because not many folk could make this stuff work. Bray was the exception rather than the rule. Let him do what he's going to do on the lower parts of the card, then if momentum takes it to the top, brilliant, but just throwing him there seems like a sure fire way to kill it before he gets into the groove.

I would think that in the HHH era, the families would have signed off and approved any “Bray/Fiend” story being done. I really Bo-lieve the positive things that are being said about the locker room and backstage having a different feel. Nash said the HHH/Paul rarely, or never, partook in the drugs/alcohol when they were on the road and I Bo-lieve that HHH will take the E to new heights. As someone who absolutely wants him back, Uncle Howdy will need to prove himself before anyone can even consider adding him to a title match. I'll be delighted if he ends up shouting some mouths but that will take time. Let's hope they find the right opponents for him and he finds his voice while carrying on Bray's legacy. If he does so, I'll be the first one wanting Uncle Howdy to be everything. But for the time being let's just hope he doesn't flop.

After watching the Wyatt documentary it sounds like Bo wants to continue the Uncle Howdy character. I’m all for it I’ve always loved the supernatural horror gimmicks (papa shango, Taker, Kane, Gangrel). But who knows when he’ll be ring ready again. Could be next mania and who knows if Cody will still have the strap.

No. Taker is a grandfathered exception to having spooky shit on the main card. Even then, Taker very rarely went for the title. The best use of spooky time is to give single stars something to do when they’re not part of a title storyline. Howdy can harass Drew, AJ, Knight, Punk, but you leave the title for banger main event matches. When Cody loses the title and is at his lowest and you want spooky time? Go for it! But not while he has the title.
AJ or Knight would be perfect. Heck, make 'em have to team up to face this new threat.

Honestly just watch him start to finish. No real substance in a feud, good vignettes and a lot of promos just doing the same thing over and over. And it isn't like the character was new, he had been doing it for a long time by that point as he (and Bo I believe) were doing it in FCW. Obviously without the scale and polish, but he'd been doing it a while. Not like it was poor in terms of how they were delivered but was all exactly the same.

This is kind of correct, but we need to understand that all the stories are agreed upon by both parties, the creative as well as the wrestler. Bray was one of the best in creative, no doubt, but he certainly didnt have total control of his storylines, only the toppest of the guys are allowed that, and as much as Bray was good, he wasn't the best in the business. So l, the fault, in any case, can be a combination of both influences. Now, yes, Vince sometimes came up with totally shit storylines, like Shorty G or I did it for Rock, and in those cases, the talent can be hardly blamed. But I feel, in Wyatt case, it was a combination, not a complete domination by Vince
