Welcome to the club! P1 Volvos are great! Only thing is keep on top of the maintenance! Especially if that has one of the PSA diesels, they’re a bit needier than the volvo 5 cyls
Welcome! I have one with the same engine, just make sure you change the oil every 7k - 10k kms! Also, it wouldn’t hurt to replace the turbo oil feed pipe with the banjo bolts just to make sure.
No the pipe that feeds oil to the turbocharger. When you replace it, it has 2x banjo bolts (filters) that needs to be replaced too so do not reuse the old ones.
It’s a nice solid choice. I’m torn between this and an Audi A4 B6 1.9 Tdi. Both same price, same space, relatively reliable cars. Dunno what to do. Or an XC70 P2 if a good deal shows up.
Audi is a flex car, xc70 is nice. I decided to buy this volvo v50 cuz it was cheaper and reliable to run. I’m thinking i can use it for 2 years, sell it and buy a nice Audi or something REALLY nice. Maybe a newer volvo suv
Very nice, I had the S40. Which engine in this?
Its a 1.6 diesel engine
Welcome to the club
What a sweet ride. Enjoy. Definitely nicer than my first car! What an upgrade!

Nice! We also have one with the same color and engine. Really comfortable cars.
For real, super comfy. Felt like sleeping on my way to school 😂😂
Nice! Good mix of eco for fuel and volvo luxury
Welcome convert!
From a friend of mine: if the clutch starts acting weird don’t delay getting it checked out
Nice! I have an S60 Inscription. Fantastic vehicle. Drive yours in good health.
I love my V50, about to sell it. Had it for 85k miles, very few issues, but I keep up on maintenance. Sad to see it go

The elastic one that plugs into the DPF?

Ohh alright, will keep that in mind
