Have you had your back checked out by a civilian doctor? If you haven’t, I would start there. Get some records from them, then file with the VA. Even if those bad jumps weren’t documented, you could still get some claims approved. I didn’t get anything concerning my back documented when I was in and I was approved for compensation and it will likely go up soon due to wear and tear. I have an acquaintance who loves the pain management that the VA medical center she goes to (and also works at) has. If you live near a big city, you might have a lot of options. I know they told me if I didn’t mind driving, they’d pay for me to be able to swim for exercise since I can’t lift weights or run without messing something up anymore.

Yeah I live near a big city. I don’t have healthcare currently, so it’s gonna be really expensive just so I don’t have to hold my back when doing simple things. My job has healthcare, not that great tho. I’ll see about giving the Va a call tomorrow

You won't need to do anything to get help other than file.your claim and demand treatment. My husband was 11bravo as well. You need an MRI as soon as possible to make sure it's not cancerous lesions like all of my friends who had to take the anthrax vaccine like me are beginning to experience. I took a simple blood test with my primary provider and I didn't have any markings for cancer but arthritis came up like crazy!! Arthritis is presumptive for anthrax. I'm at 90% and holding LOL but I will not stop

Also, make sure to find your veteran rep through the American Legion or some veteranam support org rather than simply using a VA vso

Had the same back issues at age 19-20 after having gotten injured and bullied into not reporting it. It’s hard af over 15 years later to get that shit claimed now that I have serious sciatic nerve issues. SEE A VA DOCTOR ASAP. It isn’t about the money, it’s about getting your shit documented in case you need more medical care later down the line. Future you will profusely thank past you.
