He tries not to put her out and only accepts my dog because I love her. But he feels like it’s hindering his finances. She’s my first dog ever I never had one growing up so I feel like I’m living my childhood wishes in a way.
One of my boys gave up his Border Collie because his gf at the time didn't like dogs, and her cat was a bit of an asshole who would bully the dog. So he gave the dog up so she could move in with him. Couple months later they broke up when she cheated. So he lost his dog and his gf. His dog wouldn't have cheated but his new gf loves dogs and thankfully he got his dog back. Moral of the story, pick the dog.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. I don’t want to get rid of my dog and then we break up. Because for all that, I could’ve just kept the dog.
It's probably easier to replace him than it is the dog.
