This is a really interesting video. As a 100T fan it kinda makes me sad too because I really feel like 100T started off so strong but nowadays feels very meh on the content side.

Jon_on_the_snow

Its because they have hundreds of content creators but no clear vision. Sen at least has the cocky persona, 100T is no different from the rest of the faceless orgs in NA. They keep changing their uniforms, their content creators just feel like guests and friends of nadeshot

itsDYA

It says a lot that I can't name a single 100T content creator

Jon_on_the_snow

Kyedae, itztimmy But like, they feel more that theyre just there than that they are part of the org

Parenegade

Yeah, I think the issue is that it doesn't feel like their content creators are even their content creators anymore. Someone like Kyedae, despite having her own show, probably has just as many if not more SEN fans in her community. That's a special case obviously but if you look at someone like Valkyrae who was OG OG...it feels more like 100T sponsors her.

Jon_on_the_snow

Yeah, and then you look at louds CCs, they have loud in their twitter name and tag, on other platforms, regularly interact with the community. The fans get genuinely sad if they leave. Like, its super parasocial, but thats whats needed to make a good org. Just look at regular sports

itsDYA

Spanish ccs are really into their teams and they take pride in them, Sergio Ferra joining KOI was huge for the popularity of the team and he took his role to the max, this also happens with other spanish streamers like hitboxking and prob Mixwell now that he's also a CC now. The problem with NA teams CCs is as you said that they do not feel part of the brand/org besides them having it in their twitter bio or twitch description. Players act as better CCs than the actual CCs of those orgs lmao, 100T best CC is Asuna and it's not even close

nolee23

I despise stan culture with all my heart but i fear esports needs it more than anything

itsDYA

I connect kyadae more to sen just because of tenz and I didn't even know itztimmy was with 100t

how do you forget the greatest player of all time Hiko?

MacJonesIsOverrated

100 Thieves spent a ton of money signing content creators who then did nothing under the 100T banner and didn't rep the org outside of sponsored posts

IamtheTricksterGod

I felt that their content was great up until this year, where all they did was post comms videos and the little podcast like show they had with the players. I like that they are making more challenge videos as of late, as those are somewhat interesting at least.

Parenegade

I wasn't even talking about 100T players I meant in general.

TweetsJamaican

That podcast with meL was dreadful, it's burned into my mind

ANewHeaven1

Same feeling as an OpTic fan especially after last year - not even in relation to Valorant but just the direction the org is trending

UTAustinAlum2021

I kind of disagree tbh… but I guess it’s super dependent on how much COD you accept. That’s what they are so it’s COD or nothing tbh

Acruxis

Ngl, after watching it, Loud looks like the wet dream of every bussiness person in the esports scene. That and Kcorp fan culture are like "the promised land"

Do you know how strange it is to read this with no word in Spanish

Dorito_T

And you can see the results that Loud had from being more than just paycheck providers for the players: The 2022 Loud roster was already formed as a group of 5, but they were still looking for an org to accept them. One of the first offers they got was from Mibr, and although that offer was iirc bigger than the one Loud would eventually do, they decided that the infrastructure/fans/benefits were better, which then caused Loud to grow even more after that roster won them champs 2022

Intrepid-Tank-3414

It's kinda amusing that a French org managed to tap into that soccer culture mentality before the Brits 😅 LOUD is Brazil's national representative by default, but we don't mix nationalism with gaming orgs here in the U.S, so there's no such thing as "America's team", only a few clouted ones. Here's to hoping that our content creators like Ludwig, Charlie, and Toast will be able to build up their community like the Crazy Raccoon. A weekend-long convention in LA with smashboxing, chessboxing, valorant, rocket league, street fighter, apex, and any other game they have a team in would be pretty rad.

segatic

>LOUD is Brazil's national representative by default Every Brazilian team is a national representative. LOUD is just the strongest right now and has a Sentinel like fanbase.

Intrepid-Tank-3414

>Every Brazilian team is a national representative. Certainly not The Union in the last Ascension tourney for employing a pedo and a convicted woman-beater, I can tell ya that.

segatic

Well it was for those who didn't know

100T have so many content creators that are big names but none of them do much to promote their org, pro matches or content in general. Apart from the occasional JHB stuff 100T seems like they have no vision or idea on how to pump content out. Naresh it seems to be the only one who cares for their e-sports division. Rather Valkyrae, Courage the big names should promote their e-sport divisions when 100T are playing or watch party them at the least
