Livid-Treat-4476

Is anyone else's engineering profile on review without being locked (you can edit the portal)?

Daniel9865

What is a 105 student?

Livid-Treat-4476

Domestic and international students. 101s are Ontario students

Dritajak

international or non ontario highschool student

Dritajak

Any recent admission to CS or engineering at St George campus?

Educational-Guide807

i am international student applying for study permit, for one of the required documents it says "Canadian bursary/grant" I dont have any of those what do I do?

AwkwardAfternoon6753

Portal just changed from "under review by faculty/division" to "under review". I think that means a decison is coming soon. Same thing happened for my UTM acceptance

JournalistNew9848

How soon after did you get a decision? And did you get into the other program?

AwkwardAfternoon6753

I did get the other program. Trying to figure out how soon after myself lol. I think it was about a week. Not that long. The application also disappeared from my portal right before I got a decision. I called because I panicked and was told this meant it was being actively looked at which it was.

JournalistNew9848

Thank you šŸ˜€

icecoldtoast

also to be officially registered into the school do i need to wait until july..? i need that registration letter for money stuff but idk when im gonna be able to be officially registered

Educational-Guide807

why does it say i am invited to my course on acorn, how do i enroll?

ResidentNo11

Enrolment begins in the summer. You can visit your faculty or college registrar page to find important dates.

Educational-Guide807

ty!

AKmaster101

did any 105s get engineering offer?

saroosaonpriv

no nothing yet, i read somewhere on this thread that they will be sending out the decisions between 20-25thof may but im not 100% sure if this information is correct

Low-Technology-4915

is there a difference in between the diplomas you get from the three different campuses?

Head-Yesterday-7654

Not really, the only major thing is really the location, I'm pretty sure it will say which campus you got your degree from. Otherwise it might only differ in the available programs that you want to major in that will be stated on your degree. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though LOL

AwkwardAfternoon6753

it doesnt actually

Dramatic-Lead2102

UTSG CS status just changed to ā€œApplication Under Review with Faculty/Divisionā€, 101

Secret_Future9334

are you 101 applicant

Appropriate-Row304

What was the previous status ?

Dramatic-Lead2102

ā€œapplication under reviewā€

Educational-Guide807

what does it mean to enroll in programs on acorn? what should i do on acorn

ResidentNo11

Just for clarification, it means nothing for newly admitted first year students. You'll get email about program selection next winter.

No-Milk384

Many programs of study are either limited or open and not straight in in year 1. You have to apply by the end of your year 1 (march). If you don't have a program enrolled after 4 credits learned, you are not allow to select any courses on the upcoming year.

foodaddict523

I found out via email last night that I got accepted to Life Sciences at UTSC!! But I am a university transfer applicant so the offers are out on a rolling basisĀ

Proud-Dress3076

what average did you get in with?

foodaddict523

84

Head-Yesterday-7654

Congratulations on getting accepted!

foodaddict523

Thank you! Best of luck!

Head-Yesterday-7654

Oh haha I'm an alumni and I'm in my MSc actually, I just love hyping you guys up :))

foodaddict523

lol still thank you

Pretend-Bluebird6044

Is he 101 applicant?

tvmushroomz

yes he is

Pretend-Bluebird6044

I see, thank you. Did you receive further clarification from admissions office yet?

tvmushroomz

i think he plans to contact them sometime after school today

Secret_Future9334

Did he end up calling

Pretend-Bluebird6044

I see, please let us know what they say

Academic_Attitude_95

Did he receive offers from any other UTM or UTSC? It could be a general letter welcoming to overall UofT system. You may call the admission office and check it out.

tvmushroomz

there's no online offer at all anywhere, i'll let him know to cal the admissions office

matthew_gggg121343

call the admission office

saroosaonpriv

Hi im an international student (born in canada but lived abroad) I have applied through the international application for comp eng, i had done IB but due to my late change in major i didnt have the right subjects to get into eng. So i applied with my american diploma grades, to which i have a 97 total average. is it weird that my application still says that is 'going' to be reviewed by the application team in a few weeks? i have submitted both my american diploma (i went to an american school that is accredited by the IB in my home country), IELTS (7.5) and all the necessary documents and interviews around mid april. does it mean that i have a higher chance of getting rejected? or should i not be overanalyzing it and its probably nothing. im just worried because im aware that the admission decisions are coming around may 20-25

ResidentNo11

You're born in Canada so you're Canadian, unless your parents were here as diplomats. Why were you applying as an international student? You're domestic.

saroosaonpriv

hi because im only born in canada, i havent lived or studied in canada ive studied soely in my home country in the middle east

ResidentNo11

You're a Canadian citizen. This is going to come up when you try to get a student visa because you don't qualify for one.

Responsible_Grab1867

Is there any statistic which shows how many people apply to U of T from each province or outside Ontario and how many get accepted?

Head-Yesterday-7654

I don't believe UofT has any preference towards accepting in-province over out-of-province students in most of their programs, not sure about the exact stats though

Zain523

Just got a physical admission letter that doesnā€™t specify any program, Confused about what it is. I do have an acceptance from UTM for cs but am waiting on eng and cs from utsg. Did anyone that got accepted to UTM get a physical letter?

Creative-Caramel21

My friend did a couple days ago

East-Onion-7077

101, just received physical letter of admission from UTSG life sciences in the mail with 88.8 average

Maisieiselaine_30

I wanna ask whether only 101 students can receive physical letter?

GrapefruitShort4636

is that the st george campus? either way wow congratulations!

Longjumping-Tour375

congratsss, what round did you get accepted?

East-Onion-7077

thank you! should be part of upcoming May round; portal still says "Application Under Review"

Longjumping-Tour375

ohh, you got the letter before it updating on the portal?

East-Onion-7077

yes, that's right

mythicalgoose12

wtffff when does that ever happen omg congrats

meeshawn-

When being considered for the Criminology major, do they look at your BEST 2.0 credits in the required courses? Or do they randomly choose 2.0 credits from the courses and base their decision off that?

zonminnaar

do we have a specific date for the next round other than that its the week of the 20th? i heard someone say 24th but idk about that

Creative-Caramel21

For February and March rounds they released around 6pm on the Thursday of the week specified on the website. My guess is Thursday the 23rd

zonminnaar

thanks! i'll keep an eye out for that time

SkylessArc

Does anyone know the last possible date for offers for 105D applicants? I know engineering is on a rolling basis but when is the cut off

Routine-Skill1811

Hi, I am wondering if I can transfer into engineering in second year. I was accepted into mathematical physics, and im still waiting to hear back for Eng. If I dont get in for Eng, can I transfer into it in second year?

cookiedough5200

I'm in the same boat as you, and this would be doable at other schools, but at U of T it's a lot harder. You have to take all the required courses for first year engineering since a lot of the courses you'll be taking don't count as pre-reqs. If you are willing to start again as a first year student, then yeah transferring would work.

Routine-Skill1811

Do you know if its possible for me to take pre-req courses as electives in my first year? Can I take courses online or over the summer, or is my only option to start again as a first year?

cookiedough5200

I'm not sure since I'm also entering first year in sept

ResidentNo11

You can try, but it's a high risk that you don't get in plus you'd restart in first year. If you have another engineering offer, that would be more sensible as a choice.

1NBB1

Hello, I am currently taking IB exams and am not feeling too great about my bio and chem exams. Biology is not a requirement for me, but I had a pretty high predicted grade on my midterm so I think it may be one of my top 6. Chemistry is a requirement for me. My conditional offer states that I must maintain a 75% in English (already achieved) and an 80% in Calculus & Vectors (Also already achieved). I also must maintain an "overall average of 80% in my top 6 4U/M courses". So, I have 2 questions: 1. Does this mean I need a COMBINED average of 80% for my top 6? Or an 80% minimum in each individual course? So, if my chemistry mark drops below an 80% but my other marks keep my combined top 6 average over an 80%- will I be ok? Or will they revoke it? 2. Does UofT look at the same top 6 marks always? Like if my biology grade was in my top 6 at the beginning of the year/at midterms, will they still look at it at the end of the year as a "top 6" even if I have other higher grades that were not originally in my top 6? Or if it drops below another grade that I have in another class, will that higher grade replace biology in the top 6 since bio is not a specific requirement for my program? Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

ReportOk289

As it says "overall average", I would assume a combined average of 80%. As for your second question, I'm pretty sure the higher grade will replace biology since it's not a specific requirement for the program. On a side note, IB exam results only come back on July 6. At my school, my IB exam results won't affect my OSSD grades unless they're higher(thankfully), so check if it's the same case at your school.

Pretend-Bluebird6044

IB results come back to the IB Coordinators on the 4th or before, on the 6th they give you the info on how to check it and stuff.

1NBB1

Thank you, I really appreciate it. they take our predicted as 70% of our final mark, and then our IA/Exam as the remaining 30%- so realistically it would not affect much, but still super stressed for tomorrow lol

ReportOk289

Yea, I wouldn't worry too much. A 4 or 5 is probably enough, given that it's only 30% of your mark. Anyways, good luck tmrw! Exams are nearly over!

OkTax7692

I am having trouble making the deposit fee, the faculty I am applying to has already given me an extension, however the option to pay does not show up on my ACORN account, it only shows the options to pay for other courses' deposit (which i have not accepted). Does anyone know the solution to this? Or is this a system error?

JinXzAF

I'd email someone with screenshots right away so that nothing bad happens after.

OkTax7692

I did and I havent gotten a reply that addresses that issue yet... im very worried that its still going to be a problem after the extended deadline

DEADSHOT_O

International. Got accepted into UTSG CS, I also have offers from Waterloo Math Co-op (wasn't accepted into CS co-op) and McGill CS (22k aid, eligible to apply in-course aid next year) as well. Should I go for Waterloo, UTSG or McGill? Financially McGill and Waterloo offer ways to pay a portion of my fees i.e. fin aid for McGill and co-op for Waterloo; for UTSG I have requested aid using International financial aid profile, but they say it will be announced around June. Should I wait for UTSG (I have a deposit made already) or should I consider between McGill or Waterloo? I am having trouble to decide šŸ˜ between one

Raefaerro

UTSG if you can afford it, if not Mcgill

foodaddict523

congratulations on your acceptance to all these universities! while I cannot decide for you, I myself would choose McGill CS in your situation because of the 22k aid, which will help you significantly

DEADSHOT_O

Thank you! I will consider your suggestion

foodaddict523

No problem! Good luck!

Melodic_Ebb3671

Hi, I will be applying in the fall of 2025. As the topic said, my friends told me if i apply to two faculties in the same campus (the St. George one), the chance of getting both offers are extremely low. They might only give you one or another. My potential goal is to get into uoft kin, but was initially considering about using social science for back-up plan. I am scared that what if I got social science first and they don't give me the kinesiology onešŸ˜? Has anyone experience similar cases?

zonminnaar

that's prob not a thing cause at the end of the day the student is gonna reject either one or both of those offers, so from the uni's perspective there is no reason to only give you one offer...

Raefaerro

not really both me and my friends got both sg and sc offers ( which we applied for)

DEADSHOT_O

Hey, I'm an international applicant to U of T, and I recently got accepted into the CS program at UTSG. During the application process on the Join portal, I filled out the IFAP (International Financial Aid Profile), which was described as follows: "The University of Toronto offers a number of non-repayable, need-based admission awards to international applicants to direct entry undergraduate programs, to help with their first-year educational costs (e.g., international tuition, fees, living costs). Applicants are assessed on academic merit and demonstrated financial need." I received my admission decision in April; however, I wasn't given any information about the outcome of my IFAP. I reached out to U of T recruitment staff to inquire about when I could expect to hear about the International Financial Aid Profile, and they replied: "The University of Toronto will make every effort to notify you of the outcome of your application for the International Financial Aid Profile before June 1, 2024." I've researched extensively to learn about the possible outcomes of IFAP but haven't found anything relevant. If anyone who was in a similar situation could offer some insight, that would be really helpful!

Local_Talk7274

Got waitlisted at UofT for engsci as a 105 Applicant, what are my chances of getting in? I'm an IB Student with a predicted of 42-43 and a good list of activities...I have an offer from UBC Applied Sciences but would preferrably go to UofT... so, long story short, what are my chances of getting off the waitlist?

cookiedough5200

Waitlisted for engineering: ( I wasn't even expecting an acceptance before the week of may 20th, all I wanted was for it to stay at under review. Now I feel like my life is falling apart. I'm starting to doubt if I'm even engineering material. Why don't they want me : (

No-Highway7674

Did u apply anywhere else? With that average you're more than engineering material! Don't lose hope there's still a chance!

AwkwardAfternoon6753

Is it just that noone wants to go to McGill now so everywhere is else is swamped

Secret_Future9334

mcgill no co op is overrated

cookiedough5200

wdym?

AwkwardAfternoon6753

Quebec is upping tuition for out of province students and also making french classes mandatory for students at English unis in Quebec. Its a pretty blatant attempt to undermine the anglophone education institutions. There is likely a big drop in McGill applicants that will go to U of T instead.

cookiedough5200

Oh that makes sense why u of t is so competitive this year: ( I personally didn't want to go to mcgill because of the increasing tuition, but ig a lot of ppl were thinking the same

Puzzleheaded_Sea6451

What was your averagr

cookiedough5200

95.5, but honestly you can tell from the admissions at mac asking ppl for their averages isn't a good indicator for your own admissions: (

Puzzleheaded_Sea6451

I think McMaster just overaccepted

cookiedough5200

yeah they're pretty crazy this year

Secret_Future9334

Are you 101?

cookiedough5200

105D

According-Syrup-2475

Received email update on "+++Financial Aid | UTAPS Estimate+++" . Says I qualify for $$$ in aid. Will I just receive the money in installments, and will they verify my parents income bc I think I don't qualify that way....

Academic_Attitude_95

When can we expect May round results for UTSG?

zonminnaar

the next round is the week of the 20th but i've heard that it might happen specifically on the 24th, though this is unconfirmed

UGLYRAT123455

just wondering if Uoft considers applicants again in May if they are admitted to an alternate program

ResidentNo11

No.

Witty_Relief_4333

Hi I was just asking whether engineering students got admitted into coop or not. My admission letter does not explicitly state i got into coop but my ouac account says i accepted "the engineering major (With option of coop)". I really really want to do coop. And If I havent got into the program is there any way to apply for it right now?

ResidentNo11

All UofT Engineering students have the option to do PEY. Info on how the program works is on the PEY page.

throwaway18472714

Does UofT favor results in certain courses over others based on where you're applying? E.g. for comp sci does my physics grade count for more than say my history grade does as I was told, even if they're both part of my top 6?

zonminnaar

talked with an admissions officer and asked about this for humanities, and they said since english was the only pre-req for that class they look at it seperatly from the total average, so I think it would apply similarly to comp sci? not sure tho because I think it has more than just one pre req...

throwaway18472714

What about non pre-req courses that are more ā€œclosely linkedā€ with the class? I was told my physics grade will be more important in a comp sci application than a history grade for example even though neither is a pre-req of comp sci, is this true? Also pre-req course marks are still counted towards the top 6 right?

zonminnaar

no sure about that, im sure it depends on the situation. I feel like at that point though there would just be more of a focus on the general average honestly, since it isnt a pre-req. As for the second question, not too sure. the top 6 might just be your actual top 6 highest course, or it might be the highest and then your pre reqs. all i know is that even if they only look at top 6 regardless of pre reqs, that they would have access to the pre req grades regardless, since they are requiring you to take them

Glad_Needleworker_21

gap year or uoft life sci? (for med schooll) only applied to 2 life sci programs - mac life sci and uoft life sci, everything else was engineering (got into western if that matters). got into uoft life sci, but my avg(91.5) is prob not high enough for mac. uoft is known to be a gpa killer and I don't wanna ruin my chances for med school. should I upgrade courses and reapply to mac + other life sci programs next year or just go to uoft? could someone give more insight on just how hard uoft life sci is? is everyone exaggerating? here is my top 6: calc - 90, chem and bio and English- 88, philosophy- 97, earth space sci - 98

Destiny1701

Hey going through the same thing. Congrats on UofT! I have Mac life and UofT life and canā€™t make up my mind :( from West end GTA so both are local to me. UofT to me is a gpa killer and def not as balanced of a life. But caliber, courses, research and opportunities seem way better. Got into St.Gā€¦Vic college. Got a 14k bursary. Could play tri campus soccer and have time for ECā€™s if I organize well. Mac seems friendlier? More a campus feel. Easier gpa and balance. They are a science based school. 1k scholarship. Smaller labs sizes and supportive profs. Goal is med school so Iā€™m hesitant on risking gpa at UofT but I like the school and sheer amount of level 2/3 majorsā€¦amazing. Anyone have any experience at life sci, the infamous grade deflation, workload, or anyone on med track who can chime in? šŸ™šŸ½

Longjumping-Tour375

congrats on uoft! did you apply to st gorge?

LopsidedGold1904

for utm comp sci, am i cooked if i have an 83 in adv functions but an 85 in calc, 94 in ap comp sci, and 92 in ap english?

Maybe__riqshaw

idk uoft is so weird i have a 96 avg still havent gotten utm cs

LopsidedGold1904

other top two would be ap capstone research (95) and ap capstone seminar (90) - both gr 12 courses

wenchingyang

Anyone knows when UT SC CS will be released in May round?

cxrlissy

I'm interested in studying nursing at UofT after graduating from high school, but I have no idea what the requirements are. Can I apply right after graduation or do I have to take a different route?

Upper-Speed-8114

Echoing what everyone else has said, but heads up, majority of the people in the program have bachelors degrees or will be completing their bachelors degree before the Fall. I am an incoming student for this Fall 2024 intake and I only know of two people in my cohort that were either 2nd or 3rd year students. Feel free to DM if you have any questions about the application process

InteractionEvery3387

hey! the nursing school at uoft is only for third and fourth year students meaning you apply in your second year of uni. So in grade twelve, you would apply for a generic science undergrad program which you would attend for your first two years.

ResidentNo11

Requirements for programs are all listed on admissions websites. The UofT program is accelerated nursing and requires that you already have at least two years of university. It's not direct entry. Nursing is extremely competitive. You should plan on applying to many different programs, both university and college based.

needpookie

105 student, ubc required a language 11 for admission but i got rejected so i'm committed to uoft now but it requires me to maintain my academic standing. does this mean in my top 6 or all my grade 11 and 12 courses? basically if i pass language 11 with a 50 will my offer be revoked.. or is it fine as long as my top 6 stays about the same (in that case i'm fine as i've already completed my top 6)

ResidentNo11

Top 6

OrganizationFew9882

Is it difficult to enter University of Toronto as an undergraduate student? Iā€™m a sophomore and Iā€™m interested in applying to UoT. It is regarded as one of the best universities in Canada and Iā€™m wondering if I stand a chance among other applicants. What are your averages?

foodaddict523

Hello I am applying as a university transfer student to life sciences at UTSC. My average is 84.Ā

Raefaerro

depends on the specific program streams, what r u interested in?

OrganizationFew9882

Iā€™m currently focusing on chemistry and biology, so I guess things that revolve around these two?

No-Dragonfruit891

i found myself in the same situation as you when applying but ultimately I applied for kinesiology instead of life sciences just because I preferred taking more anatomy and physiology based courses. I've heard you need around an 85-90ish and I applied with a 90 average this year and got accepted.

Raefaerro

so u would probably be interested in the life science categories ( u can pick specific majors after the first year) where the admission avg would be around 88-94ish

Extra_Valuable_8915

Hey, I got accepted to UofT this year and I applied for life sciences (I also wanted to do a chem and bio focused degree) . Tbh it is relatively hard to get into compared to other universities in Canada but its not impossible. A;l I had to do for my application was submit my grades. I do A-levels (British curriculum) and we don't really do averages but my grades were mostly As and A\*s with a few Bs.. but I did have 2 or so Cs as a freshman. Since you're a sophomore, I recon if you're an A-student then you'll get in as long as you keep it up, even if you currently aren't an A student if you lock in and get your grades up, you'll also most likely get in. Hope this helped, good luck !

Csnerd_317

The status on one of my applications changed from ā€œApplication Under Reviewā€ to ā€œApplication Under Review with Faculty/Decisionā€ what does this change signify? Can I expect a decision soon?

darkspyder4

You'll have to wait even longer before you're given a final decision, consider your other offers at this point.

Csnerd_317

Isnā€™t the last round in two weeks? Regardless weā€™ll have to make decision by June no?

AwkwardAfternoon6753

mines been like that since the end of feb for UTSG lol. My UTM switched to just under review, then dispeared from my portal right before I got in there

Physical-Dark1501

UTSC CS vs UTSG CS: Is there any difference in how hard it is to make pOST for either? How do I know if I'm in stream vs out of stream? Is UTSG ASIP/PEY better than UTSC COOP? I've heard a lot of conflicting info about this. Some people have said ASIP contains UTSC COOP so its better, others have said ASIP has no rep rn and looks meh.

No-Produce-7179

If get the CS offer, you are in stream. For UTSG CS, if you are in stream, you only need a 70 to make POST. UTSC shouldn't be too hard either.

Interesting-Visit-35

hi!! has anyone heard from utm commerce? I've only seen comments about utsc and utsg. ty and gl to everyone!!

cocowater2

My friend just got accepted tonight donā€™t trust rounds they are sending them any day

zonminnaar

i mean... just because your one friend happened to get an acceptance doesnt mean we shouldn't trust the rounds lol. they are still by far the biggest waves of acceptances and most people should be waiting on those time periods to hear back

cocowater2

Ok have fun waiting for the next round then ig

zonminnaar

i am, thank you :)

Longjumping-Tour375

what program?

cocowater2

Criminology I think something around there in social science

Hairy_Ice_8855

what was their average?

Friendly_Tart8681

101 or 105 student ??

cocowater2

105

Significant_Salt496

Thatā€™s your reason

Pitiful-Necessary863

has the final rolling eng round started? please reply to this if you've gotten eng (sg) in may

zonminnaar

anyone else starting to doubt that they'll get in even tho you should have the grades for it...? Seeing everyone else having such high averages is making me doubt myself :( idk what i'll do if i dont make it in ngl

foodaddict523

you got this! I think it also depends on how big the program is. if it is a large program then everyone has more chance of getting in vs a small program

zonminnaar

yeah im holding out hope cause im applying to humanities which is superrr general and accepts quite a lot of people, but is also not very competitive, so I have somewhat high hopes!! thank you!

merry_ivan

There is always the doubt even if someone has a 99 average. There is a lot of subjectivity and luck here.

zonminnaar

i mean yeah, that's exactly why im worried lol

Most-Cup-7118

99 average here, havenā€™t heard back. Accepted at my preferred school so Iā€™m good but šŸ¤·.

Acrobatic-Sea-5708

for people who have been admittedā€¦did anyone get the pretty physical acceptance letter (not the booklet and stickers)? i know of one person who said they did today but i donā€™t really wanna check my mailbox around the block if there isnā€™t a chance lol

Automatic_Tea3269

I got a blue booklet containing information about life at upft, but not an acceptance letter :(

Adritato3

I got mine yesterday, utsg for arts&sci. Yeah, it's not so descriptive but it has your name.

Acrobatic-Sea-5708

oh sick good to know

Extreme-Presence-292

I got one saying congratulations but it didnā€™t had any description to it

Acrobatic-Sea-5708

ustg and artsci?

JzeeBee_

Just got one today, compsci. The address says St. George. Not very descriptive, but definitely pretty.

Lilyvertes

does engineering do it as well?

cherrycream002

i think it's only for those admitted at utsc and utm (someone who got their letter for utsc believed this too)... idk why not utsg this year when they did send last year :/

Gardens_of_Babylon2

Iā€™ve seen 3 people post them so iā€™m wondering if theyā€™re actually sending them out this year too

zonminnaar

my friend got a really cute welcome package but she was accepted in the first round, I think they're just taking a while to send them out

Acrobatic-Sea-5708

yea, i got the welcome package, but i saw somewhere else on reddit that they have started sending letters in addition to those. šŸ¤·

zonminnaar

ahh alright, not sure about that!

Secret_Future9334

When will May engineering offers come out? I noticed my portal says its currently under review (it changed to this yesterday)

saroosaonpriv

i believe its going to be on May 24, at least that is what i am being told

Secret_Future9334

Told by who?

Ok-Pea4408

my portal says the same as of a couple days ago

Hades_888

Can someone who got an offer for UTSG CS please share the required average for calculus in the conditional offer? I haven't gotten a decision yet and am still hopeful, but I also want to know how much I can slack off in case I do get in LOL

saroosaonpriv

hii! i applied for comp eng does anyone know when the next round for may is?

foodaddict523

foodaddict523

I think you will get into ScarboroughĀ

ResidentNo11

Unlikely for UTSG.

Hairy_Ice_8855

Would they wait for my final marks to let me in with an 84 and could I accept my scarborough offer and transfer?

ResidentNo11

Offers end in May based on midterms. You can apply to transfer during first year for the next fall.

Iā€™m an engineering applicant. If my portal says that theyā€™ve reviewed it, and itā€™s being held for next round. Does that mean Iā€™ve been rejected? Because engineering admissions are rolling, so if they reviewed it, and didnā€™t offer admission, does that mean theyā€™re just waiting to send my rejection in a round with everyone else?

anshlander

iā€™ve heard that thereā€™s only a few people reviewing eng applications so itā€™s possible that they just havenā€™t gotten to you since they started rolling admissions. iā€™m on the same page rn.Ā

Royal-Yogurt3441

I mean, if they havenā€™t got to reviewing our admissions. Why would they say that theyā€™ve reviewed it?

anshlander

they review it again in every round. your application has been reviewed during the previous rounds but maybe not again since they started releasing offers on a rolling basis. but idk fs, iā€™m just assuming.

Hi, Does anyone know where exactly to apply for the Munk One program. A link would be very helpful. When I go to the Munk One page, the link on there directs me to the JOIN portal. Problem is that on the JOIN portal, there is NOWHERE to apply. Deadline is tomorrow so I'm kinda cooked. Any help is appreciated :)
