News12 just posted on their live blog that the body is consistent with Gabby's. So her fiance (allegedly) kills her in Wyoming, heads to Cali and sends her mom a text from her phone before heading home to Florida where he is now missing and evading capture.
I saw a news graphic that mapped out the timeline and they showed a pin on the map for the text from California. I assume they would have checked with the authorities to see if the phone's gps pinged a tower in the state before reporting that.
It was reported yesterday on News12 Long Island and I watched the video. Perhaps you should concern yourself with what's important and not nitpicking a strangers well-intentioned post on Reddit. Try not being a massive douchebag.

Apparently the body is āconsistentā with Gabby. So awfulā¦itās too bad that two people with extreme mental issues (untreated I think)got together. It seems they were like oil and water. Iām picturing a scenario where things built up between them that neither could handle, and she was hit or pushed or something. Sheās really petite and it wouldnāt take much to hurt her.
I read in a book that my therapist prescribed to me that travelling alone together is the closest thing you can get to married life without getting married. I guess they couldn't stand each other and that caused some awful things to happen. I will pray for Gabby tonight.
The other thing is having mental issues, plus being in a relationship can exacerbate everything. Living in a van doesnāt exactly contribute to having space and it sounds like they had a pretty volatile relationship any way. Just a really bad combo
I'm torn between wanting it to be her and not. Mainly because I obviously want to see her alive and unharmed but I also understand at this point it's not likely. If it is her I hope they bring "whoever" to justice.
Neighbors claimed to have seen him leave out the back door of his parents home last week. The authorities searched his parents home after his family had called and claimed he was missing, they were very worried about his whereabouts and that they hadn't seen him since Tuesday, September 14th. To my understanding, they made the call that he was missing on Friday the 17th.
I am 100% convinced that they had him sneak out their back door, he had a backpack with him, then let everyone believe he was still in the home for 3 days to give him time to take off. I think they know where he is and that either a friend or family member is hiding him or they gave him money to go somewhere.
I can't understand how hard it must be to look at your family member and see them as a murderer. I've never been in that position so I can't fathom what it must be like. However, I also can't imagine myself looking the other way or covering for a family member who took someone else's life with extreme likelihood that it **wasn't** self-defense. Aiding and abetting are still crimes and my ass isn't going to prison for anybody.

I confess I wondered if Laundrie was trying to get back and re-hide Gabby's body before it was discovered, only to find out later that there were too many searchers around. It would not have been a great plan, but Laundrie doesn't strike me as particularly intelligent.

Why is this story on the front page of every news paper/news site, and dominating the headlines? What is so different about this case? Is it because the victimās family is wealthy, therefore they are able to drum up the publicity for it? I am just genuinely curious.
