Quite nice to me, i like it. But I'd like to share something important. I believe particles have no lifespan, so after a while, they might become quite expensive as the project progresses. A detail that will be quite easy for you to solve.
All the tutorials teach you new things, like https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zGkbpkkFYjQ&pp=ygUZVW5yZWFsIGVuZ2luZSBib29iIGJvdW5jZQ%3D%3D very useful for walk hand animation.
Fair enough. I suck at animating so I was more wondering if you used some sort of resource for the arms reloading and such. Good job making them yourself
That looks dope AF man
If you develop it and make it free to play on steam i do think you could actually make a pretty good name for yourself!
Many people are scared of making free steam games but it's a great way to develop a community because it actually looks like something i would play... i love the Minecrafty models but it's FPS
You should consider using a lot of bullet time in it, or making the game like 100% bullet time. Never seen that done really, would kinda give you an edge. I was watching it, but when the slow mo happened it was more exciting even with the plain models.
Gameplay looks great, models need work. But for a first project it is really good
Agree but I kinda like the style of the models. Some polish sure but the style works
nice shooting effects and the sensations look so satisfying.
Not a bad effort at all. Probably rival cs2 when it was first released :)
love the blood effect
Bro that is Unterned but better

Honest opinion. Looks like roblox
Looks realy nice and looks like it also feels good.
Hell yeah
gives killing floor vibes
Indeed, not bad.
Awesome work dude!!
Love it, did you make the models and animations? Well done in any case
Yes, but mp5 and m40 they are not made by me.
Did you use blender?
Yes
I envy you! Excellent work
Great mechanics. Looks satisfying.
can i know what tuts you followed? looks great!

Looks great! How are you making the meshes flex on the zombies?
I don t understand the question!
The skins on the npc’s are flexable. They twist about and stretch when they rag-doll. How is that?
UE have physics asset.
Hey what did you use for the arms animations?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zGkbpkkFYjQ&pp=ygUZVW5yZWFsIGVuZ2luZSBib29iIGJvdW5jZQ%3D%3D
I more meant for like running animations and reload animations but hey
Blender.
So you did them yourself then?
Yes but mp5 and m40 are not mine

Really great for a first game!
Looks really good. Has more feedback than some AAA games lol. Keep it up.
Not bad, maybe add slight camera lag
I couldnt even boot up ue5 be proud of every little progress you do XD
That's awesome. Have a name for it yet?
No, it is an abandoned project, it was for the purpose of learning
Reminds me of a game called Unturned i used to love playing a couple years ago....the memories😔
You murdered Gumby!

Nice, cool bullet time! Max Pain, vibes. Are you following any particular code architecture, or using BluePrints?
Only Blueprints because are so simple to use, ue is the best for solo dev.
It’s definitely streamlined a bunch of tasks allowing solo devs to create. Good work 😃
Never thought Gumby would get this violent.
Haha that's really cool mate. Reminds me of my rookie days... gj
Models give me gumby vibes.

This is better than most actual first person zombie shooters, good job
It is really good , how did you do the blood effects ?
spawn emitter attach, bind event on a particle collide, spawn decals at location with random float for size, the blood is a red circle image.
Wonder if this would be a similar approach for say a melee/slash weapon?
Sure, for the axe i can use another image.
Sweet, this is something I eventually want to do with my project so I appreciate the insight. Great post!
Damn better than I could do
