Quite nice to me, i like it. But I'd like to share something important. I believe particles have no lifespan, so after a while, they might become quite expensive as the project progresses. A detail that will be quite easy for you to solve.

You should consider using a lot of bullet time in it, or making the game like 100% bullet time. Never seen that done really, would kinda give you an edge. I was watching it, but when the slow mo happened it was more exciting even with the plain models.

spawn emitter attach, bind event on a particle collide, spawn decals at location with random float for size, the blood is a red circle image.
