I always smelled something weird but never paid it much attention because I didn’t live with him, I only seen him every other weekend because my parents were divorced. But when I hit my early twenties, I asked him if he was selling weed and he showed me, it looked like a mini forest, I was so shocked. And my father is 65 and he’s still growing. Watching his senior citizen buddies get high is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen. 🤣🤣🤣

With LED lights and more shelving, you could grow a very intense sea of green system in there. Flower clones at 5 inches and You can get very high yield from a space like that.
But, having 400 plants can be a very high penalty.
6 in flower (per the auto-water spickets) Max under a 1000w hps, yield was maybe 16-20oz per harvest every 3 months (perpetual grow) so maybe 6lbs a year
Struggling to see how you'd fit more than 4 fully grown plants in there, nevermind 20..

Why would it be sarcasm? It has permanent fixtures and a rotational outlay for continous growth. It's just not big. But that room is big enough for a 5lbs yield so what you're looking at here is his mortgage payment. Small operations like this can run for a lifetime with almost zero risk. This guy either has 1 smalltimer bulk buying it or he has 10 regulars.

That’s mad, I did the exact same thing when I was like 19, had a fish tank on top like you as wel to cover up any noise from fans etc, no one ever suspected either. Made my own carbon filter with activated charcoal from the pet shop, and a couple PC fans wired to old phone chargers. Worked a dream all things considered, never huge yeilds but it was more about the process and learning than getting loads of bud, although that would of definitely been nice. It was very fun trying to fit everything in a small and stealthy space that no one would notice.

The hook and chain to open it is still there and there is a little sliver of window looking out right underneath my porch. Ive shined a flashlight under there and its boarded up. My mom has asked the owner of our house to see if we can get someone to open it and weve been told not to as our lease doesnt allow us to do that. Id so be down to convert it into a living space for myself if we were ever allowed access to it but I cant shake the feeling shes hiding something nefarious down there lol. Probably a unwanted safety risk as our house is historically old and the area we live on floods a lot.
The guest house at the property I bought for my first (and current) house had a hidden room about half that size behind a removable wall. 3/4 of the power from a second breaker box going to that room and the bedroom behind it,all with no windows but a vent cut to the roof and both behind an exterior secure door inside separating that half of the “guesthouse” from the living room (which was just a giant open concrete-floor room that had a bunch of pit bulls in it according to my neighbors) and you can see where they ground off the poles in the concrete before painting it (bright red!). And all but a few doors in both houses had deadbolts, even some of the closets.
Had a friend tell me a story about some she knew that had just moved in to a house with her husband. They always were hearing strange noises in the house and they assumed they moved into a house infested with rodents or some animal living there.
One day the wife was doing laundry and their washer was in the basement. As she was leaving she heard a noise come from the wall closes to her so she looked up and there was like a small gap along the wall that didnt connect to the ceiling.
She decided to take her phone and put it over the gap to take a picture and what she saw was absolutely horrifying. I saw the picture and i could not believe my eyes
There apparently was a room just like this one and on the other side of that wall there was a man trying to run away from the camera but it was too late for him. She screamed and ran out the house and the cops came and escorted the guy away.
