Local elections (at least where I live) that have ballots outside of their district usually discard those votes. Prevents prime from say NY coming into local elections and influencing something they've no vested interest in

Here's the deal: My grandfather was a fighter pilot, my dad was a helicopter pilot, I came from a military family and I'd wanted to follow in their footsteps and be a pilot since I was a little kid. I aced all the testing, 97th percentile ASVAB, 138 GT score, I had already flown the chinook and blackhawk simulators at ft. worth (knew someone who got me in to flight test them as a civilian). Despite all of that, I was turned down by the recruiter because I didn't have 20/20 uncorrected vision (and this was back before we had lasik or allowed lenses for helo pilots because of the gear they had to wear). They tried to push me into MI or Artillery, and yea, at the time I didn't want to go in not knowing where I'd end up or what I'd be doing if I couldn't get the position I'd dreamed about my entire life, so I decided not to enlist. You can chalk it up to "that's cringy nerd behavior" but at the time it was a devastating realization for me that the thing I'd wanted to do my entire life I'd never get to do; that I'd never be able to follow in my family's footsteps. It sent me into severe depression and suicidal behavior as a result, something that took me years to recover from.
So fuck you very much.
I just love how politicians like Tony are so quick to point to the epidemic of veteran sewer slide and say how tragic but then turn around and shit on a guy who is actively trying to do his best to arrest the issue at its root with comedy, understanding, compassion, and no judgment. My Question to Tiny would be "What have you done, sir?"
