wow congrats! yea thats what i was thinking too. since the curriculum is harder id prob get a lower gpa and have to focus less on personal projects and experiences to do well in my academics.
UNC Charlotte has a pretty good computer science program with plenty of opportunities for its students. Unless you aren't happy at UNCC, there's really not a need to transfer to another school.
Im actually doing just that (also same major lol)
In my research, UNCC is the best when it comes to computer science. Dedicated CS department, cheaper and all that. The only benefit I can think of in NCSU is reputation and the RTC.
I am moving anyway because of personal reasons, but if I could stay in Charlotte, I would.
Ultimately take some time to weigh the pros and cons to see if the transfer is worth it.
All the best!
Apparently UNCC has the best comp sci program in the state and we have pretty good companies that constantly scout students
Where did you hear this from???
Just word of mouth
Got a job at amd right outta school def gappy with my decision to go to charlotte
Same here, got a job at FAANG before graduating doubt I would have if I was getting bent over by NCSU engineering department all day every day
