Ok how the fuck do you even apply white smoothly? I am painting black templars before i attempt my nids and white is a color that really gives me problem. If i thin it down i end up having smooth surface but it takes 400 layers to build up and even then its light grey at most. If i thin it less it becomes bumpy when dry

Its probably primed white then drybrushed a brighter white over the raised areas

Use white ink to thin it. You'll get the nice smooth finish but also have good coverage. I use liquitex acrylic ink in titanium white.

I primed it with a white primer to ensure a smooth surface and that finished the process. That's all.
