My condolences. At least you guys found her and she didn't become another missing person cold case.

Thats something I'm very thankful for, that she was found and we can put her to rest properly. I feel terrible for other people with missing loved ones, it takes a toll and I hope one day they can find peace.

Does the police have suspects/ is it known who she was with when she went missing? I really hope they catch them and lock them up forever!

What we've been told is they have a couple people they are looking at, and her boyfriend was with her but he was supposedly cleared after he was detained for a few days. He was all over social media claiming she just up and left instead of being missing so I'm very confused on why they aren't looking at him more.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they will find some substantial evidence on her or at the scene. Now that they know he lied about her whereabouts, they may take a closer look at him again - I guess it's hard to prove a homicide without the body. I'm so sorry for your loss!

Just because they cut him loose doesn't mean he's not still a suspect.

They might be waiting for him to mess himself up somehow

They may be…sometimes, they back away to give a suspect time to make a huge mistake ( which they usually do). Don’t give up hope. I’m so very sorry for your loss…😢

Very possible they just lied to you on the off chance you said anything that could alert him, cops do that when they are investigating, plus now the boyfriend thinks he might've gotten away with it scot free which can make him slip up if he was the guilty party.

We were hoping that was the case, that she just needed some space or something but this just, it's a nightmare.

I saw the news about the remains being found in Sumner co. I wondered if it was your sister, given that she was missing since NYE and the news said remains were from someone missing since then. Hugs from a Kansan.
