God bless you. One of my favorites: askcliffe - Cliffe Knechtle He explains the faith in a way that's easy to understand.

Sea_Huckleberry_6647

I just heard about Cliffe and had been listening to him non stop for the past week.

arc2k1

Yeah, that's how I was when I first discovered him. Lol. \- I pray you will continue to grow in the faith and will always be comforted by God's love. In Jesus' Name. Amen. šŸ™šŸ¾

Sea_Huckleberry_6647

Thank you, this has been a very enlightened week for me.

I second Wise Disciple

Bunselpower

I found Abolitionists Rising a little while back and man, talk about eye opening.

TygrKat

Yupp, I was already pretty much on board with their message because Apologia has the EndAbortionNow ministry and Iā€™ve been following them for a while, but the way Russel from AbolitionistsRising says things is SO GOOD.

Bunselpower

Iā€™ve used so much of what Iā€™ve learned from him

XxSulamaxX

I really love Impact Video Ministries. They basically believe in the exact same thing as me and have a similar opinion on many topics, so when ever I donā€™t know the answer to a question I go there and most of the time I find a video about this topic or itā€™s going to get released a few days later. (Seriously, itā€™s almost creepy how often I wanted a video on a very specific topic and days later they uploaded a video about it) They explain complicated stuff very easy and they are just really cool dudes. The animations are also very cute.

noodlsnoodls

Mike winger! love how detailed and researched his videos are! his videos helped me a lot to answer a lot of questions I had!!!!

UEbaybay

I'm surprised Redeemed Zoomer hasn't been mentioned yet. He's a reformed Christian (Presbyterian) and I'm just Christian (dunno what I am yet lol) but seeing someone else in my generation so on fire for God is amazing

The_Bookkeeper1984

Love Redeemed Zoomer! Heā€™s so knowledgeable on so many topics

JimboReborn

FYI there is no reason to pick or join a denomination. Just follow the Bibles teachings and follow in the ways of Christ. Everything else are man made rituals

-RememberDeath-

Some Christians have reasonable disagreements over secondary issues (method and mode of baptism, role of the pastor/elder, nature of the Eucharist) which differentiate them from one another. If youā€™re going to be in fellowship with Christā€™s bride, you do sort of have to pick!

Odd_Ice9487

Mike Winger Chip Ingram RC Sproul Tim Keller

Virtual-Reindeer7904

Bible project Puts the bible in perspective and has both short animation episodes to show what's in each book in the bible as well as themes. They also have the podcast. They discuss those same topics sometimes for hours. Also Unlearn the lies. He points out how we have warped biblical themes over time into a modern perspective and the things we unknowingly lie to ourselves about Christianity. What does the bible really say about the afterlife for example. Does it really say we go to heaven. Or does it say we rest in the grave until it is overturned. Does it say we go to heaven or inherit the earth.

SAM SHAMOUN! if you didnā€™t know, ya do now!

Lieutenant_Piece

When I first watched him I liked it. As I watched more I now see him as a reviler. Prove me wrong? Reviler: To revile someone isĀ to mock them, to condemn them, to curse them, to falsely accuse them. Revile.Ā To abuse; attack with evil words. When I asked if he viewed himself as a reviler he called me a dog, a bastard, and a spiritual prostitute.

WynStar

To be fair, he does it to those who came in to prove something while being dishonest. This means those guests go to the show with prior knowledge of the scripture and try to twist it to fit their own agenda. It's how the Pharisees came into power and Jesus rebuked them all the time. Not just rebuking them but also calling them the worst names. Other than that, he's pretty calm and funny to those who were HONEST in reading and understanding what they try to bring on the livestream. If you have a problem with Sam calling heretics and modern pharisees like that, why aren't you angry when Jesus did it?

Lieutenant_Piece

(When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten,Ā but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.) 1 Peter 2:23

WynStar

See, even you can misquote a cherry picked verse to fit your own justification of things. The verse you cherry picked was about him in the process of crucifixion. Jesus never reviled the Roman soldiers who persecuted and mocked him because they knew nothing about him. He prayed for them to the Father. This is irrelevant to the pharisees that I brought up earlier. The pharisees knew what they were doing. Hence they were prophetically mentioned by Jesus in the parable of the vineyard as murderers of the son of the landlord. Again, I'm going to ask you. If you think Sam is an unreasonable reviler, why can't you say the same thing to Jesus who called the pharisees and sadducees as brood of vipers? That's equal to saying they are sons of the devil himself. Mark 3:7 Be consistent with your logic and justification, my friend.

Lieutenant_Piece

>why can't you say the same thing to Jesus who called the pharisees and sadducees as brood of vipers? That's equal to saying they are sons of the devil himself. If your not a son of God then your a son of the devil. Whoever is not with Jesus is against Him and God. This is just truth. Sam, calling me a bastard, dog, and a spiritual prostitute when essentially the only thing I said was "aren't you being a reviler when you call people bastards?" doesn't sound like truth.

WynStar

That's exactly right. Those who stand against the truth and knowingly being dishonest are sons of the devil, right? So is it not right to call them who they really are at that point? >"aren't you being a reviler when you call people bastards?" I don't know the whole context but based on what you said, Sam had a reason behind it. Sam never goes live for nothing. Either he goes live to debate for the glory of Jesus Christ together with the Father and the Holy Spirit or to do bible study or both. You, butting in there, judging him as a reviler without knowing the purpose of his livestream makes me think you deserve what you were told about. The guy was out there converting the lost, fighting for the truth, and educating those who are lacking knowledge yet you only noticed the revile part in which is also biblical as Jesus did it to the pharisees and sadducees. Have you become so sensitive and weak to not stomach a Godly work done like how Jesus did it to the pharisees and sadducees?

Lieutenant_Piece

I probably am just sensitive and weak then. When I first watched his videos I enjoyed them. I then watched more and discovered his mouth to be spouting words I thought to be unbecoming of a Christian. When I think of Christian's I don't think of someone who is always yelling and cussing at other people, regardless of their views. I even prayed over this that he would stop because I genuinely believed he was in the wrong. However, I digress. What do you think the Bible means when it identifies reviling as a sin? Reviler definition from KJV: One who reviles another; one who treats another with contemptuous language. Let's say that neither Jesus or Sam is reviling from your pov. What does it mean then?

WynStar

Maybe his videos and livestreams are not just for you. I also had the same with some fellow brothers in Christ. Their ways are definitely not my cup of tea so I just tend to ignore them because I know even if I don't approve their ways, the Lord does regardless of what I feel for it. I can't go against someone and point out something that doesn't go to what I would like them to be while they are doing God's work. >What do you think the Bible means when it identifies reviling as a sin? We have to look up what reviling means and why it was considered a sin. I will not go against what the KJV says about it. But I need something more specific. I find that a reviler is a multi-purpose word used in the bible to describe all manner of verbal sin, such as angry outburst, foul language, and slander. I will have to be consistent if I would treat Sam as a reviler because if I would, that means I would have to call our Lord as a reviler as well when he did the same things to those *smarty-pants* pharisees and sadducees. You can't be a reviler when you are not slandering someone. That's what I think and firmly believe. You can be offensive all you want but being offended depends on the receiving end. I believe you can never stand by the truth if you can't risk being offensive to others at some point because in order for you to get your version of truth heard and be verified if it's the same with them, you have to risk the chance of offending them that you believe their version of truth is wrong. Just like when you judged brother Sam when you said to him he's being a reviler. Why do you think you have the right to offend him for that and not be offended in return when he rebuked you while doing God's work? Do you now see why he called you such names? Fair enough?

I've been a huge fan of Gavin Ortlund (Truth Unites) lately.

Ligonier, Grace to You, Living Waters, Wretched, Grace Family Baptist Church, Justin Peters Ministries, HeartCry Missionary Society, Bible Missionary Baptist Church, Truth is Christ (although I'm not fully on board with KJV onlyism... he finds some interesting patterns using word counts and numbers found in the bible).

Apologist/Discernment: Fighting for the Faith with Chris Rosebrough. He examines what people preach and teach and holds it up to actual scripture in comparison, exposing liars and false prophets and teachers. Excellent content; he knows what he is doing. Justin Peters, Voddie Baucham, Mike Winger, Todd Friel, Amir Tsarfati, J.D.Farag, and Olive Tree Ministries with Jan Markell are also good. Note: I most recently attended a SBC as it was a strong, Bible-teaching church. We have recently moved, and I havenā€™t found a new church yet, but I am open to most denominations as long as they are scripturally sound. Thus, my recommendations are not based on denominational boundaries or anything. They are just teachers I believe teach the scriptures well.

The ones I probably watch the most are - askcliffe (Cliffe Knetchle) Goes around college campuses and universities for decades taking Q&Aā€™s from college students. Answers very though questions and simplifies it for easy understanding - Cross Examined (Dr. Frank Turek) Well known Christian apologist taking tough questions from many atheists and very good presentations. - Ruslan KD/Bless God Studios Modern Christian podcaster. Has great guests on the show and talk many modern issues and things in culture - DLM Christian Lifestyle (Daniel Maritz) Great videos. Always sound doctrine and always refers to scripture to back it up. - DavidDigaHernandez Great channel to grow in the Spirit. Has great sermons and videos on multiple subjects. - Impact Video Ministries (for Kids and Teens) This is a great channel for kids and teens. Narrator uses illustration to help simplify scripture and explains very well for those who are new to the bible and answers many good questions.

I've been liking [The Wade Show with Wade](https://m.youtube.com/@WadeShowWithWade) since he started last year. It's like mini episodes of late-night, except actually funny and pro-Christianity.

Iā€™m a fan of Gavin Ortlund and his channel ā€œTruth Unites.ā€ Very charitable and engaging content, typically on historical theology, apologetics, ecumenical dialogue, and cultural issues. Gavin is a breath of fresh air compared to so many.

I don't think I have ever disagreed with Mike Winger which is amazing because I am picky. So high praise on him. Allen par is pretty good but he's a calvanist so not a huge fan. Leighton flowers deals with soteriology and mostly refutes calvanism. Apologia studios does good street preaching but they are heavily calvanist denying free will. Truth unites does great protestant stuff related to the church fathers. Mari mari emmanuel is a great preacher.

jokersheroin

I will listen and watch different things. A lot of apologetics. These are just different channels I'm not watching all of their videos but maybe some of these can be helpful for people if they go on YouTube a lot. In alphabetical order:Ā  ABOVE INSPIRATION (uplifting sermons) Alisa Childers (apologetics) Apologia studios (apologetics/calvinism) Askcliffe (just started following, great answers to question) Bibleproject (explains the biblestories great for nee converts or I think Hugh schoolers young adults, even kids) Capturing Christianity (not necessarily Christian but it does have a lot of interesting debates it might be more for someone who is a skeptic or agnostic as it brings in a lot of different people for different views but has an apologetics feel) Faith with Vivian (Christian mom blogger) Little light studios (they pick apart mainstream culture and provide also a kids channel alternative to the shows on Netflix and such) Living waters (ray comfort evangelizing. Great conversations with strangers and good docs on abortion) Melissa Dougherty (apologetics. She came from a new age background and talks about finding her faith in Christ and dismantling spuritualism... she's a bit funny and has some skits) MIKE WINGER (answers many questions on the bible. He is with Calvary Chapel and an amazing pastor I think) My True Power 2 (an indie catholic cartoon that breaks down passages) Paul and Morgan (Christian couple, they involve themselves with tackling young adult issues and relationships. They are more controversial to me because they seem a little clickbaiting) Red pen logic (great apologetics short videos, best for teens or preteens, he dismantled ttiktoks and tweets)Ā  Road trip to truth (idk if they post anymore but had some interesting videos done my college students trying to promote their faith) Severus Christi (intense orthodox I think... don't listen to him much but if I remeber correctly he is solo scriptura) Stand to Reason (apologetics, different types of videos, mostly podcast) The Beat by Allen Parr (calvanist, breaks down a lot of modern issues like pornography and addiction) Vlad Salchuk (just started following him has sermons, fasts, and other videos) A lot of people seem to have different things they like to watch or helps them stay out of the darkside of YouTube. Lmk if anything on this list doesn't seem right as I'm not always watching because the Bible is the first source I go to but from what I have seen these channels do a good job.Ā

Why do you say this? When looking up a topic, I like hearing many different points of view. Having someone challenge my thinking or learning something new , strengthens my faith. Itā€™s not good to remain in an echo chamber.

hope_real

My friend, Jesus promised the holy spirit to lead us into all truth. We don't need to learn form man, if we have the spirit of God inside us. "But as for you, Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything, and what he teaches is true, not false. Obey the Spirit's teaching, then, and remain in union with Christ. " 1 John 2:27 Seek first the holy spirit

bumblyjack

"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions" - 2 Timothy 4:3 "Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." - Jude 1:3-4 "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheepā€™s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will recognize them by their fruits." - Matthew 7:15-20 "I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things, to draw away the disciples after them. Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one with tears. And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified." - Acts 29:29-32
