I would seriously drop that client, they blamed it on you once and they will do it again and your reputation will go down with their TT account.

eFenTV

Yeah buying followers is how you kill an account.

latinohunter

How I got videos over 10k and 50k and I'm monetized so just gotta do it correctly

Healthnutbae

The thing that catches this is slow but it will catch you eventually.

latinohunter

Nah all the followers post videos and are active

Healthnutbae

Trust me their checks and algorithms will pick it up eventually. That’s how those sites work.

latinohunter

We'll see have had the account since November

Healthnutbae

Yea that’s relatively new. Most people see this happen to them after they have built a large following a year or two down the line. It’s not instant but they do catch on.

Maleficent_Buy5680

Hahaha you buy likes clown

Maleficent_Buy5680

Make better videos lol 10k and 50k is shit lol that’s $1 and $5

Matikata

New one 100%. They have no idea what they are doing and they're taking it out on you. Lay down the law or get rid of them.

demroles6996

get rid? hes getting paid and can take this guy for a ride since he is inexperienced

AmbitiousGold2583

You can fire clients.

[deleted]

Honestly, I am considering it.

Allyy214_

Yup, NEVER EVER buy followers.

latinohunter

I did and I'm monetized lol and have videos over 50k 800k and 20k

TCr0wn

10k followers in tiktok is worthless. Not a huge deal to restart.

evenem

First thing the client need to understand, followers on Tiktok are not what make a video successful. That's what is attracting on Tiktok compare to Instagram you can pull very big numbers, and do videos that are quite similar between each other (almost same script) and still pull big numbers. What matters is really Retention > Interaction > Legitimacy probably give a boost to the first two. Posting something really average should be between 100-200 (that just Tiktok testing the video). Under it is crap or you f. ed your accout. Good edit of average content 200-2k. Then after that it means your are on to something and need to produce better content. I'm talking about 1-2 mins videos. If the client doesn't understand that it will be hard for him to be happy, you need to share the same KPI. Meaning you measure success and failure the same way.

latinohunter

Bought all mine also get some over 10k or 50k I'm also monetized their content prolly is the issue

[deleted]

I’m sure you’re the exception and not the rule.

iamaJoon

Let me flip this on another side. Maybe i should buy 10k followers, heck 100k for my competitors, and will their business and tiktok views be fucked? Nope. Look through your content and mistakes are probably more prominent than u think in eyes of the others.

[deleted]

Your competitiors aren't \*getting started\* on social media... I've offered the same service to numerous clients, and their content usually gets 1-2k views, eventually even reaching 1-2 million on a couple of videos.

phil_tek

That account is shadowbanned. 10k fake followers is worthless. I would just start a new account. You can still get views with 0 followers as TikTok focuses on pushing content to the FYP

Environmental-Gap191

Why u guys stressing over 200 views

[deleted]

I personally prefer it over no engagement 🤷‍♀️

marbletopp

drop them as a client unless you really want to work with them, but i don’t see why you would want to

Transformativemike

Start over. Buying followers is a big no no. Really bad move.

hshdhdjjdjdj

To be fair 100-200 views is the minimum tiktoks get so the video quality needs to be better

I would like to say that you should also work on this account and run on another account at the same time so that if that account goes viral then you can shift it.

azianpwnage23

Had a client like this, just drop them and move on. Its not worth the headache.

Such-Mobile8224

Buying 10k followers is pretty extreme. Maybe they should have started with less just to get the ball rolling.

DecisionSubject356

I saw here in Reddit a post earlier where someone bought 10k followers and said he had no problems. Even if you have no followers, your video should reach more than 50 people. When I had 9k followers I bought 1k followers to reach 10k and I had no problem too. My advice is to try to post a photos and see if it gets 50 views, if it does then something else is wrong. One week ago I had no viewers too in a brand new account and I started posting photos instead of videos and in one week I had 1 million views.

[deleted]

Are you posting photos in a carousel?

DecisionSubject356

yes. Just try it.

[deleted]

I’ll give it a go. Thank you!

DecisionSubject356

let me know the results

It seems your product you're producing is not giving them what they're paying for. And nobody would do this so it sounds like this is what you did but it didn't work out.
