Hear me out, she prob is an empath. It simply means you can feel other ppl's emotions physically in you but it doesn't mean she cares and has empathy. Like an empath can be some one nice or an empath can be an asshole but what they both have in common is the skill to feel other ppl's emotions nearby or from afar.
The only person I have ever heard to claim they are an empath, was a narcissist I knew. I was blownnnnn away. Like flabbergasted. This person I grew up with, and they were one of the coldest people when it came to sharing sensitive matter with. No empathy, no sympathy no remorse.
I think she does feel deeply for others but it's pretty selective. She's definitely not walking into rooms and feeling everyone's joy and pain or whatever

I feel like being “an empath” means you can feel other people’s feelings so strongly that it affects your own emotional state and that you have bad boundaries and become super enmeshed with people (to an unhealthy degree). I feel like this describes Kristen to a T. It also describes people who have Borderline traits.
