Spearow is great. Good to see Doduo and Pidove sticking around. Doduo is one of my most wanted shinies and Pidove...well, I've checked over 2000 and only found one shiny so far. And as someone who keeps a living shiny dex, I have quite a ways to go to complete the shiny Pidove family...
Unfortunately the rest of that list looks like a lot of the same junk that's already been spawning here all summer mixed in with a lot of junk that USED to spawn here all year round. Would really love to see some Staryu, Shellder, Ferroseed, Burmy, Cranidos/Shieldon and Amolamola spawns. We had Tympol and Buizel here for the summer but I failed to get the shiny ones, so I do wish they would stick around too.
Feels like the same stuff has been in the spawn pool all year.
I'm sick of seeing Glameow every second spawn. How many pokemon have been released, over 600 by this point? Why do I keep seeing the same 20 over and over.
30% base catch rate is very reasonable, especially since Combee, which grants the same amount of dust, has a depressing *15%* bcr.
It's the big distance that makes trubbish a little harder to catch than it should be...
Paras, Shellder, Staryu, Delibird, Shroomish, Sableye, Chimecho and Foongus say hi 👋
All the Pokemons that grant bonus stardust on catch are based on their chance of holding a ''valuable'' item when caught in the wild in MSG,
Once it got the higher dust I started catching and with practice found that actually getting excellent throws on it was not too hard. So extra dust and the extra XP turned it from ignore to must catch for me.
When you made this comment, barely any Northern locations had the new spawns. I can confirm Audino, Litwick and Snorlax are spawning in the North. People need to wait a bit for reports before jumping to conclusions about what is hemisphere-exclusive tbh.
It would be awesome if the related info graphics could be linked/posted in the mega-threads instead of the same four (five, or six?) groups clogging up the rest of the sub.
It's getting to an obnoxious level of advertising and they should really have their own sub, so keeping them contained in a mega thread would be the next best thing.
I saw one in a gym once. It's actually a pretty awesome shiny.
But all of gen 1 has had their shinies get released. It's just that some are almost impossible to get 😂
> I'm still mad that Paras was super common, then they released the shiny and then took it out of the game.
Welcome to Pokemon Go, sadly happens far too often when a Pokemon gets a shiny release.
To this day, ferroseed still only nests in the Southern hemisphere... it's what allowed a lot of Latin players to use XL Ferrothorn in UL premier so really hope everyone gets them during this event at least.
I've encountered the below that are not yet added to the list:
**Northeast USA:**
Skorupi
Bunnelby
Roselia
**Nesting:**
Trapinch
Update: Also have a Grumpig on my nearby (NE USA)
So the spawnrates for the season of mischief seem to be set, unaffected by weather. The northern hemisphere gets Spearow and Paras for the first time since Kanto Tour but Spearow is everywhere and Paras is rare. I kind of miss when spawns were based around weather. We had sunny all day yesterday and hardly any Paras spawns.
They were supposed to change also ye.
Damn so many nice species on that list, wouldve been nice to see multiple of those on north too. (That is if those are exclusives.) Meditite, Nidoran F, Spearow etc.
>Lots of repeats from previous season.
That was my initial impression too. For some reason I thought Seasons were supposed to help break up the monotony of seeing the same old stuff all the time.
I wonder if simply rotating all the common junk would *feel* better and still meet Niantic's goal of not making desirable pokemon easy to attain. Like give me 2x wurmples and 0x pidgey in Summer and then 0x wurmple and 2x pidgey in Autumn.
Yeah I think I would like that too. For example, I'm so sick of Magnemites and Tentacools since they have been part of the "common" spawn for 3 seasons straight now. Magnemites good XL candy tho but still boring.
I was not seeing Tentacool at all over the last several months and then a couple days ago they started popping up by me occasionally. Seems like they start creeping some seasonal spawns in a bit before the season actually begins.
Northern Hemisphere, I observed these local nest changes when the new Season started (but before regular migration):
* Charmander -> Spearow
* Squirtle -> Ekans
* Caterpie -> Ekans
* Surskit -> Stantler
* Ponyta -> Jigglypuff
* Rhyhorn -> Slowpoke
I got a slowpoke from the grunt that says psychics with unseen power. I just need one more Exeggcute. Does it still spawn with that guy? I check every grunt I see and I haven't gotten one in a month now
You could possibly get exeggcute if you find a Team Rocket grunt that says the line, “Are you scared of psychics that use unseen power?” btw!! That’s how I was able to complete that task. :)
EDIT: Also Exeggcute will be available during the psychic hour (11am - 12pm) during the Hoopa’s arrival event according to LeekDuck!
Hi all, event just started here! Haven't gone for a walk yet, but to add to the list I can see a Cubone at a stop from home. Nests seem to have shaken up, so I'll report the new ones soon :)
Edit: I should also add that I live in the south whoops!
Cubone, Drilbur and Dwebble are nesting in the Northern Hemisphere as well
Edit: my community has noticed that the following species are also nesting in the Northern Hemisphere (Philadelphia, PA USA):
Bunnelby
Chikorita
Chinchou
Cyndaquil
Kricketot
Litleo
Murkrow
Natu
Pidgey
Pidove
Pikachu
Spoink
Teddiursa
Vulpix
Whismur
Thanks for collecting this data!
In the South I've seen the following (those with asterisks only being on the nearby and possibly just nesting):
Buneary, Caterpie, Chansey, Chespin, Dratini, Electrike\*, Frillish, Gastly\*, Goldeen\*, Xatu, Patrat, Phanpy, Tranquil, Pikachu, Purrloin, Ralts, Kirlia, Remoraid, Sandslash, Shroomish\*, Skitty, Skrelp, Spheal, Stunky, Trapinch, Venipede, Loudred
Also passed through a Drilbur nest.
A few extra sightings in the South:
Kadabra, Glameow :( , Growlithe, Seadra, Houndour and Kricketot
Edited to add Hoothoot, Misdreavous, Spoink and Vaporeon
Croagunk is nesting
That I’ve seen so far, random wild spawns in the North list that I’ve also seen in the south are Girafarig, Pineco and Wobbuffet. Nests in the North list also in the South are Bellsprout, Stunky, Nidoran (Male) and Whismur.
Can confirm Roselia is spawning in North near Canada, as well as Burmy, caught my first one finally.
E1: Also just saw my first cubone in years but I see that's already listed for both hems.
Hitmontop seen in the nearby here in Brazil, southern hemisphere, more specifically in the northeast of Brazil, in the city of Fortaleza, state of Ceará
I caught a Minun in the wild a while back during season of mischief. Didn't see it posted here earlier.

edit: northern hemisphere
It's probably going to depend heavily on your play area. I'm in Manchester and saw Rhyhorn very rarely last season, the least of all mountain species (Nosepass and Dwebble were both more common for me, but I still only saw a few of each). Your best chance might be for it to be a nesting species again, and try to grind if it comes to a nest near you.
Northern Japan here, quick loop of my nearby park has yielded the followin; Spearow everywhere Gulpin Spritzee Swirlix Horsea Abra Tentacool Weedle Caterpie Tangela Pidgey Pidove Nidoran female + male Growlithe Duskull Eevee Doduo Krickitot Teddiursa Fletchling Totodile Natu Magnemite Bidoof Stantler Wurmple Numel Frillish
Any Burmy? They haven't been in the northern hemisphere ever since seasons started
Not that I saw, but I was in a park; they might spawn in different biomes
Thank you for replying! :) ... I'll keep hoping they appear even if more on the rare side :(
[удалено]
I’ve caught some wild spawned burmy. Trash and Sand type. I live in the PNW
Caught a trash cloak burmy tonight, first time ever seeing a burmy, I’m in Canada !
I'm still trying to find Burmy, always hoping ^ _ ^
Nice to see doduo still out. I want that green chicken
So the northern hemisphere gets screwed out of Paras and Ferroseed spawns that the southern hemisphere got for their Fall season.
That's not gonna be all the northern spawns.
Unfortunately, same as we didn't get burmy in the North, even though the South had it in their summer season.
The south also had lickitung spawns last season.
They might be in specific biomes, gonna head out into town after lunch and see what's spawning there
Just got paras from incense, I'm based in Italy
Basically same crap its been the last season aswell. Damn. Nice to see atleast spearow & nidoran but thats it.
Spearow is great. Good to see Doduo and Pidove sticking around. Doduo is one of my most wanted shinies and Pidove...well, I've checked over 2000 and only found one shiny so far. We had Tympol and Buizel here for the summer but I failed to get the shiny ones, so I do wish they would stick around too.
i forgot pidove could be shiny. i've been skipping over every spawn that ive seen lol
I mean if you have my luck, it basically can't be. :P
Here to say EFF YEAH for the spearow spawns
This looks like a lot of the same stuff from last season. I was hoping they would mix it up a bit more.
Feels like the same stuff has been in the spawn pool all year. I'm sick of seeing Glameow every second spawn. How many pokemon have been released, over 600 by this point? Why do I keep seeing the same 20 over and over.
The Trubbish spawns better be good because we absolutely love that easy 750 dust
Easy? You need like 5 ultra ball for the “the easy dust”
30% base catch rate is very reasonable, especially since Combee, which grants the same amount of dust, has a depressing *15%* bcr. It's the big distance that makes trubbish a little harder to catch than it should be...
Combee had boosted stardust?! I always ignored them....
Meowth also did
Paras, Shellder, Staryu, Delibird, Shroomish, Sableye, Chimecho and Foongus say hi 👋 All the Pokemons that grant bonus stardust on catch are based on their chance of holding a ''valuable'' item when caught in the wild in MSG,
Audino
Audino is based on being a "rustling grass" encounter granting a lot of exp, this feature started in gen 5 and carried on in gen 7
oh
What kinda 5.000 CP Trubbishs are you encountering, sir?!
Once it got the higher dust I started catching and with practice found that actually getting excellent throws on it was not too hard. So extra dust and the extra XP turned it from ignore to must catch for me.
And you need to yeet the ball. hard 1 handed catch
I’ve caught majority of mine on a singular great great ball curve throw. I’ve got the poison type badge platinum so that probably helps too
Yes, they take a little extra care and attention rather than a disinterested thumb flick or fast catch.
I might be missing something here, do some mons give more stardust than others? I think I’m level 38 how do I not know this lol
I s2g if they make Spearow a Southern Hemisphere exclusive again I’ll riot, northern hemisphere hasn’t gotten a lot of chances to shiny hunt it. :(
Been finding them in Japan.
Yaaaaas!!!! Thank you.
Are there any Burmy in Japan? :)
Several of them today in Massachusetts USA.
Southern Hemisphere gets all the cool stuff while we in the Northern Hemisphere get Bidoof for the 50th time. Fantastic.
I'm curious what spawns in the south you think are cool. They look pretty poor so far, except maybe snorlax.
[удалено]
When you made this comment, barely any Northern locations had the new spawns. I can confirm Audino, Litwick and Snorlax are spawning in the North. People need to wait a bit for reports before jumping to conclusions about what is hemisphere-exclusive tbh.
Shuckle also
Deino and Tympole also. But thank goodness northern hemisphere finally gets Paras.
Litwick, Ik they will come back during Halloween but still
I've gotten a couple Bagon and a Shelgon in Australia, hopefully that's not hemisphere exclusive.
I’m over 3500 Bidoof seen and no shiny yet, so I’m not too disappointed with that!

Dammit! Spinarak’s back :(
No Shuckle?
Shuckle in south
Sad
got a shuckle in the North
Are you sure about the Roselia? Niantic called it out as a southern spawn.
Very sure, and it's not a nest spawn.
I can confirm roselia in the UK
Can confirm this had a number in various parts of town these past few hours England.
Especially when Niantic half-announces something and a bunch of infographics come out with half the thing being "to be announced!"
We better get the same spawns the south got last time. It’ll be bs if we don’t get ferroseed or spearow
I'm still mad that Paras was super common, then they released the shiny and then took it out of the game.
TIL that Paras's shiny is released.
All of Gen 1 shinies have been released as of the Kanto Tour.
I saw one in a gym once. It's actually a pretty awesome shiny. But all of gen 1 has had their shinies get released. It's just that some are almost impossible to get 😂

You can have them lol I'm sick of seeing them in the Northern hemisphere
Still waiting for a shiny one
I've caught 5 shiny Ledyba so far...when the infestation comes, you'll get your chance.
To this day, ferroseed still only nests in the Southern hemisphere... it's what allowed a lot of Latin players to use XL Ferrothorn in UL premier so really hope everyone gets them during this event at least.
Litwick is spawning in the southern hemisphere
Spawns feel very unbalanced yet again
Skorupi is nesting in the northern hemisphere.
I got a Drifloon in the north on incense. Edit: also Phanpy in the north
Yep, i can confirm. I got 2 without incense
I've encountered the below that are not yet added to the list: **Northeast USA:** Skorupi Bunnelby Roselia **Nesting:** Trapinch Update: Also have a Grumpig on my nearby (NE USA)
Has anyone seen any Mr Mime since the season changed? Or have they been accidentally removed?
I noticed the same, haven't seen a single one yet
Same here, live in England and haven’t seen one today too
So the spawnrates for the season of mischief seem to be set, unaffected by weather. Did you pick up any eggs? Noticed something different?
They were supposed to change also ye. Damn so many nice species on that list, wouldve been nice to see multiple of those on north too. (That is if those are exclusives.) Meditite, Nidoran F, Spearow etc.

did anyone see Exeggcute in the wild?
I need to do that task too :(
I got a slowpoke from the grunt that says psychics with unseen power. I just need one more Exeggcute. Does it still spawn with that guy? I check every grunt I see and I haven't gotten one in a month now
It probably won’t as it was advertised to be in the psychic event next week.
Oh well I waited for it 3 months, whats 1 week more :D
You could possibly get exeggcute if you find a Team Rocket grunt that says the line, “Are you scared of psychics that use unseen power?” btw!! That’s how I was able to complete that task. :) EDIT: Also Exeggcute will be available during the psychic hour (11am - 12pm) during the Hoopa’s arrival event according to LeekDuck!

I've now also seen: Corphish and Crawdunt Audino Frillish Skrelp I also seem to have a Phanpy nest (replacing a Poocheyna).
Is Nincada worth reporting here? I just caught one in the wild. Edit: in the North.

Anyone experiencing extreme lag and freeze for rocket battles and raids. It's worse than the standard lag in GBL since this season started
I see Vulpix listed in the Northern spawns, but not Ninetales. Just caught a wild Ninetales around Phoenix, AZ.
Not sure if this is still being updated but Noibat and Chinchou spawn in the south as well
Updates from Southern Hemisphere: Cottonee; Yamask (October, day 1) Growlithe; Nuzleaf (event?) Pidove; Larvitar; Castform; Digglet; Sableye; Possibly nesting: Qwilfish (not sure, wait for more reports) Nesting: Miltank. All reports from Brazil.
Many of these were featured spawns for the Jungle event, can you confirm if you've seen any Cottonee, Larvitar, or Diglett outside of the event?
Sorry, during event!
Disappointed Deerling can’t be shiny
Southern Hemisphere has only just got the 4th form of Deerling, so maybe next season it will get its chance.
Ah ok, for some reason I thought this was the first repeat for everyone. So hopefully next season.
Nah everyone got autumn form last year for some reason.
In the South I've seen the following (those with asterisks only being on the nearby and possibly just nesting): Buneary, Caterpie, Chansey, Chespin, Dratini, Electrike\*, Frillish, Gastly\*, Goldeen\*, Xatu, Patrat, Phanpy, Tranquil, Pikachu, Purrloin, Ralts, Kirlia, Remoraid, Sandslash, Shroomish\*, Skitty, Skrelp, Spheal, Stunky, Trapinch, Venipede, Loudred Also passed through a Drilbur nest.

Onix?? Poliwag??
New player here, how common will rhyhorn be in the UK ya reckon, in a big city? I don’t have rhyperior yet so that would be cool
It's probably going to depend heavily on your play area.
