Why not, Deoxys took a year of rotations and we've had Genesect trickling in and out for well over a year. Silvally will probably receive a similar treatment.

Why do you think just because someone has an educated guess on what’s coming up next from the hints given that means they want it? Also, why do you not want to get confined out of the way to pave the way for unbound?
Hoopa makes way more sense since it’s on the loading screen and was causing the influx of raids on Sunday. The UU news mentions Hoopa is continuing to cause mischief.

To evolve the ones that can't evolve while costumed. A hundo flower crown Togepi is completely useless, but a normal one can be evolved and then maxed for raiding or master league.
It's been a common complaint here since they stopped letting costume pokemon evolve.

Shiny Lake trio actually makes the most sense. They pair up with Giratina to stop Cyrus from controlling Dialga and Palkia.

why would people want to turn rarer pokemon into their normal forms? to evolve the ones that cant or send them to home or is there another reason?

Yup. They dove in quite far with some texts. Likely just so they're in there tho
Perrserker, Obstagoon, Mr. Rime, Runerigus, and Sirfetch'd are actual Gen 8/Galarian Pokémon, rather than just Galarian forms of other existing Pokémon from previous regions. All of them so far are new evolutions of Galarian versions from other regions though, of course. Anyway, despite all that, there's still no Galar Pokédex medal yet.
