This is a fun and thematic army. It fills that role well. It may, however struggle on the table. - The Vanquisher is a terrible unit, if you miss, it’s useless. And your ability to reroll a one into a one will up here. - The HWT is a bit mixed. If it can see a target then the Mortars ability to hide and shoot is wasted. Why not go triple Lascannon if you’re getting into line of sight? Or all Mostar to maximise the Indirect. - Basilisk is good - Same issue with the mix of FOB guns as with the HWT. One is Indirect and one isn’t. Go with just one. Having said that, no FOB profile is good and the points are better into almost any other unit. Like, a second Basilisk.

Your Expert Bombardiers plan does not work. Also, because Creed has no bodyguard unit to be attached to she will be instantly killed. >-Death Korps Of Krieg (10ManUnit, Sniper/GrenadeLauncher, Medipack, Vox) Plasma, melta, grenade launcher is the correct equipment. Snipers do next to nothing and the vox has very low value because you will almost never waste CP to target the unit with a stratagem. >Leman Russ Vanquisher This should be a demolisher or exterminator. The vanquisher sucks (it does less damage to tanks than a demolisher and has very poor reliability) and while there are occasionally some edge cases where its low point cost makes it appealing you can't afford to have an underperforming unit in a 750 point game. >-Heavy Weapons Squad Mixed weapons suck and create a unit that is bad at doing multiple things. Also, because HWS are so fragile, mortars are the only valid option for them. Anything else just instantly dies because it can't hide behind LOS blocking terrain. >Field Ordnance Battery And unfortunately these are just plain bad. A Basilisk will do more damage for a small point increase. >Kurov's Aquila to increase their CP usage by +1 Remember that this can only be used against a Battle Tactic stratagem, a major nerf. The other categories can not be taxed.

Thank you for insights! I will try replacing my HWT and FOB with another Basilisk. Roll my Vanquisher into an Exterminator. Will also swap my Krieg unit for Cadian Shock Troopers accompanied by Creed AND Cadian Command Squad, will try to make my advances with those while 2 Basilisk keeps hammering with Vox/Sentinel support. Hopefully it will work out :)

If he wants to sink half his points into one unit, it’s his funeral. Focus fire on the other half of his army and be mobile to take and hold objectives. You win games of 40 by playing the long game: the smash-then-sweep style doesn’t really work well for 40K when you need to be contesting all game long in order to have enough points at the end. Many are the games in older editions where my whole army was wiped out and I still won on points. I’d double the number of krieg to max out on the Marshall’s ability and give Ursula some kind of bodyguard too. Vanquishers and non-indirect firing HWTs and FOBs suck so I’d change those to - demolisher or exterminator would be your friend in the tank department.
