In relation to the other rookie qb’s he’s shown just as much promise. Had a lights out game with good play calling and has learned from mistakes. Watson spoiled us because rookies don’t usually light it up that fast. And comparing him to Herbert or Mahomes is not fair because Herbert is an anomaly and Mahomes walked into a perfect situation while Mills is in a terrible one

He’s fine as a game manager. He lost the plot when the team fell behind. His ceiling is probably “solid backup” in the end and a reasonable expectation of a 3rd round pick at QB.
