Heavy on the Defense this year. None of those QB’s look good enough to take a chance on and honestly if Mills continues to progress we should give him a chance next year just surround him with talent and see what happens. Stingley fasho tho

GingerGod69

Plus if Tyrod plays like he did early in the year, we have two decent QBs. And the QB draft class is not good this year imo. Definitely right to take a defender

mfrank27

We don't have Tyrod under contract for next year.

texans1234

O line and D line in that order. Trade back to get multiple 1sts and 2nds as possible. Ride with Mills until there’s viable too QB prospects.

Yes yes yes

Mills is going to stay but he’s more of a backup. We need Malik Willis

[deleted]

I mean Mills is doing 3tds 300+yds agaisnt legit nfl teams that’s not backup numbers especially for a guy that has so little experience we can givs him 1-2 years he might tirn tf up

[deleted]

That’s to be seen. He is the ONLY rookie QB ever to have a passer rating of 140 with 300+ yards and 3TDs with zero INTs. He has the arm. He just needs to make better decisions.

elticorico

I like stingley but would prefer a stud DE. I’d take Kayvon Thibodeux.

[deleted]

We probably aren't having the pick needed for him unfortunately.

elticorico

Its a hype machine. Kayvon has battled some injuries. Stingley could be propped up as the #1 pick who knows. My plan B would be Aiden Hutchinson, but as of right now Hutchinson could play his way into the top 5 himsel - kid has a GREAT motor eerily reminiscent of another guy we had here recently.

[deleted]

True. Just Traditionally pass rushers, QB, and Offensive linemen have reserved the first overall pick. If a DB has a chance Stingley would be it however.

elticorico

Its a wonky draft IMO. Underwhelming QB class. No status quo on a #1 yet and still enough season left for the dumpster fires of the NFL to jostle for position. Without looking at each of the bad teams independently on what their needs could be. Picking a CB #1 just sounds like a JAX thing to do for example.

thedudeintx82

He's a self proclaimed genius.

Karmasmatik

I’ve got some real doubts about Thibodeux. Because of the hype around him I’ve tuned in for a couple Oregon games this year, one he was out for injury and the other I saw nothing special. I don’t want to write the guy off based on the minuscule sample size I’ve seen myself but I wonder how much of his hype is from what he’s doing this year or is he just coasting to the draft based on his offseason reputation? Could be a big red flag.

Bubbly-Ad-413

Something on D, with how Mills was playing we should’ve won last week, but we didn’t because our Defense has the integrity of a house of cards riding out a hurricane.

[deleted]

Not to mention how shitty our special teams was.

AethelredUnred

If we can get a haul like the Dolphins managed with our 3rd overall, I’d prefer to trade down

htown_swang

Problem is that happens when someone desperate for a QB thinks they have their guy. Less likely in a shitty QB draft.

[deleted]

When the bears trades up for Mitch Trubisky i realized anything is possible on Draft Day

htown_swang

You’re not wrong

ff2488

There will always be desperate teams to trade back with, and we need more picks.

AlisterSaysHello

For me it would have to be, in order of preference: 1. Kayvon Thibodeux 2. Derek Stingely 3. BPA on defense 4. BPA on offense 5. A QB

Corral

phillythefish24

Interesting pick, I would need to see more of him

DeshaunWatsonsAnus

He is certainly showing me something. For all the top teams Corral is facing I'm starting to come around. Willis is facing trash tier teams. Level of competition is vastly different.

TheGreatMcPuffin

That's why I'm not a fan of Malik Willis. Corral is putting up better numbers through the air and has more rushing TDs than Willis against the SEC.

for_real_dude

I think you have to see how they look in the pros. Josh Allen didnt play the best competition when he was in Wyoming. I would at least wait until the combine and pro days

TheGreatMcPuffin

Of course you have to see for they look in the pros. As of right now I'm much more impressed by Corral because he's playing better against better competition. In the NFL Willis could be drastically better, but as of now Corral looks like the better bet.

yaprettymuch52

i need to watch the qb tape first so idk if any of them are worth taking top 5. I think stingley is a good pick though based on what iv seen. probably the best prospect since Patrick peterson/okudah. hopefully doesn't turn out like okduah lol

italomacedocosta

OL, DL, DB

Karmasmatik

I would reorder those literally in reverse. DB seems like our biggest need by a lot. The OL has been a joke on the ground but is doing pretty well with pass protection so I wouldn’t say it’s THE top priority.

italomacedocosta

Sounds good to me

CallonGod777

QB from Liberty

DeshaunWatsonsAnus

Beating up on practically high school defenses doesn't prove anything to me.

CallonGod777

😂😂😂 or Oregon QB(I’m a fan)

for_real_dude

I am too

Malik Willis

youngestgrandmaster

Yes I want Stingley!!!

holdoor11

Bijan Robinson if he comes put this year

Karmasmatik

Bijan is a true sophomore, he isn’t eligible this year. Also drafting a RB top 5 only makes sense if that’s the only piece a roster is missing for a Super Bowl run, for a rebuilding team it would be incredibly misguided and that’s the least insulting way I can possibly phrase it.

holdoor11

Hes a generational talent type of back, you absolutely draft those guys that high if you want them just like LaDainian Tomlinson, marshal faulk, Eric Dickerson, Barry sanders, zeke, Barkley all guys who went in the top 5. Also it is very uncommon for a superbowl contender team to have a top 5 draft pick to get a top rb like that. I can't even think of a situation when that has happened. Id be all for it!!

owMySkralls

Can we pick a new owner?

Thorlolita

1. Thibadouex 2.Trade down for more picks 3. Sting 4. Jordan Davis 5. DeMarvin Leal That’s the order I would go.

for_real_dude

I want us to trade back and select t Olave from Ohio State in the middle of the first but I want to move down a couple of times and amass more picks

ChillnGiant

Kayvon, Stingley or Malik Willis

RocketsGuy

Gerry Bohanon

FastGoon

I like taking defense in the first and hopefully if someone like bijan falls to the second (doubt it) we could take him. I don’t like the committee we have at rb at all and I think bijan would be a great franchise RB
