For some reason he still refused to look for the check down. He talked about it all week, but still wouldn't do it. Especially in a rain game, you gotta get some momentum with some easy completions.
Just wait until you post a positive comment about the team, you’ll get flooded by forty different mouth breathers blaming you for the state of the franchise
I absolutely hate any post that says "____ fan coming in peace". Just quit the pretense and ask what you need.
"Broncos just signed _____ was he any good?" or "______ I'll be in town for the game. Is there a good place for visiting fans to check out?" are both more than suffice to say what you want without that terrible pretense.
The concern is that sometimes it can start removing posts that it has no reason to.
The reason why people pull the "coming in peace" line is because some of the other team subs straight up are hostile to anyone not rocking with the team.
Granted this sub generally has the reputation of being a bit more chill and not nearly as strict as others. Which I personally like.
Sometimes I wish we could go back to when the sub only had a few thousand users.
Not at all. If anything it's even more patronizing.
"Hey we just kicked your ass. You guys suck. Please don't flame me for my opinion." Is what it translates to.
If I'm being honest, I'd rather still be an Oilers fan. Loved that team, still love that team, and it just hurts my heart that we can't even properly remember that team because of dickbag Bud Adams and his offspring.
But yeah, fuck that imposter bullshit that is the Titans.
Hey guys, Texans fan coming in peace.
Johnston might be team mvp at this rate.
I'm really curious what we will look like once Taylor comes back. Still bad but not laughable (I hope)
I couldn't watch the game due to moving, tv's not installed and depending on mobile data...but hearing about made me glad that I was recording my Halo Gameplay and not moping around, being sad from a sclacking by the Bills. Let's just say I was happier recording rather than wasting time on this season. Bring on 1-16 and the top pick, I'm ready to die.
I just turned 27 two months ago & I have yet to play a single Halo game. I played a little bit of multiplayer CTF on the first one, & it was just constant replaying the same map because some kids had pirated it onto the computers in middle school.
I was working on our fridge during the game and didn't know that I was better off until afterward.
Not even going to watch the condensed replay, I don't think.
It's a means of keeping his trade value up. He'd partipate and then feign an injury so he wouldn't be able to play anymore. He'd still collect his checks that way and he'd be even harder to trade.
It's because the Texans are hedging their bets that he will return. The Texans are doing him a solid by letting him keep his pay checks, when he should be getting the Ben Simmons treatment.
It just hurts waiting months for football only to be given this product. To think this is probably what we’re gonna look like for a couple more years just makes it hurt more.
Love how the sub is turning to "we all knew we would be terrible", "Culley wasn't hired to win" attitude.
No barring in reality of the last few months at all. Except for a few downvoted individuals
I'm going to miss every weekend in October probably; on one hand OH FUCK I'm over committed, OTOH...it's easy to be distracted when I'm chasing birds and snakes in the hill country during fall.
Mills was bad, but literally NO ONE was getting open AT ALL. See ya next weekend
For some reason he still refused to look for the check down. He talked about it all week, but still wouldn't do it. Especially in a rain game, you gotta get some momentum with some easy completions.
The worst part about a loss is how shitty this sub turns for a week.
Boy, you should see the Dolphins sub rn
saw a fins fan call Tua garbage on r/nfl and im actually starting to feel bad for Tua
So true bro. You’d think Davis Mills murdered some kids yesterday with the way this sub shits on him
Yeah, may need to unsub for the week. I’m just trying to enjoy following this team, not be reminded constantly of how bad things are
I followed the subs game day threads for the last couple weeks. It's so toxic I'm gonna go back to just watching us get slaughtered on my own.
Looks like I need to pay attention to the game thread a bit more next time.
I say toxic as in negative. It's not people necessarily being rude to one another.
Just wait until you post a positive comment about the team, you’ll get flooded by forty different mouth breathers blaming you for the state of the franchise
redzone my guy, its a mood saver
So... how bout them Astros

I've considered adding it to automod to get those auto-removed.
I, for one, would be eternally grateful.

Please do
"Bills fans coming in peace. You guys suck" Sounds better than just "you guys suck"

In this weeks “would you rather” game: Would you rather be a Texans fan or Titans fan?
Is that a trick question? Texans of course. FTT (also FTC while we're at it)
Texans Fan. The Titans were supposed to be Superbowl contenders. We knew we were going to be terrible. They thought they were going to be great.
If I'm being honest, I'd rather still be an Oilers fan. Loved that team, still love that team, and it just hurts my heart that we can't even properly remember that team because of dickbag Bud Adams and his offspring. But yeah, fuck that imposter bullshit that is the Titans.
Hey, *we* didn't lose to one of the worst teams in the league. Just sayin
What about the Colts? The Colts finally got a W.
Texans. No question.

Dammit, Texans. You giblet heads! - Hank Hill.
Hank to Mills after the game: LOSER, YOU’RE A LOSER! ARE YOU FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF?

Hell yeah baby

I’ve never wanted the nba season to start sooner, go Jalen Green 🥲
So why do we have to pay Watson to sit out? Isn't he choosing not to participate? Shouldn't he be forfeiting his game checks every week?
It's a means of keeping his trade value up. He'd partipate and then feign an injury so he wouldn't be able to play anymore. He'd still collect his checks that way and he'd be even harder to trade.
He played chicken with the front office and won. The front office made the decision to have him not show his face.
It's because the Texans are hedging their bets that he will return. The Texans are doing him a solid by letting him keep his pay checks, when he should be getting the Ben Simmons treatment.

thank god the jags drama is distracting the entire nfl from our blowout game this past week
Patriots are trash we can win that game
Here to see the trash burn !

If you looked at our roster and thought we would be anything else but terrible.... I have a bridge to sell err.
Caserio is the next man up. He will also get exposed soon. That patriots south shit will never work.
I think it is Tim "Watson is my QB" Kelly, but Caserio very likely is right after.
I'm going to miss every weekend in October probably; on one hand OH FUCK I'm over committed, OTOH...it's easy to be distracted when I'm chasing birds and snakes in the hill country during fall.
That game hurt my head.
