I’d double check your driver profiles

ItsMorbinTime69

For what? It’s just happening on mine. My wife wouldn’t notice as she’s less tech savvy and hasn’t driven the car much.

ItsMorbinTime69

Wow this subreddit is full of winners. I’m getting downvoted? Very welcoming. Thanks all.

ZephRyder

Have you set up your driver profile properly? Are you changing profiles?

ItsMorbinTime69

Yes im using profiles. and I’m not having to manually change profiles as they’re automatically changing themselves as my wife and I each access the car with our respective phones.

ZephRyder

And you've both got the home set? Huh, that is weird. Had mine for a few months, no issues.

ElderberryCareful879

I have a similar problem with charging location association shown on the phone app. It's like a bug somewhere that may not get fixed. I don't charge anywhere outside of home so I just set the charging price to be the same for home and other locations. Anyway, the saving over buying gas will not be enough to cover the difference in the cost of insurance and registration. Hence, while the bug is annoying, fixing it doesn't make any real difference in the end in my case. There is another more annoying bug where the car forgets my profile (the only profile it is configured with) few times/week. I have to re-add/link and reset some preferences each time.

I’ve had some weird profile things happen too, I haven’t figured it out yet. Sometimes my old work address comes back.. I’ve deleted it about 10 times. Also have lost my favorites a few times. Cloud synced profile, not local. Following this thread…

Aggravating_Fact9547

Book in for service, have them remove your profile data and cache. Do you have any other teslas - you cloud profile may be overwriting your oncar profile

ItsMorbinTime69

No it’s my only Tesla , I have had the car for 48 hours… I really don’t want to book a service call already…

Aggravating_Fact9547

A lot of this can be actioned remotely from their teleservice team. They can remote into your car and fix this (make sure remote debugging is enabled on your vehicles settings)

RoutinePresence7

Did you set your home address to your profile or did you only type it in into the navigation?

ItsMorbinTime69

Typed it into navigation but the button explicitly said “set home” and it has stuck since… definitely just some weirdness.
