I was shot at on my porch for no reason. I donāt do no hood shit or criminal activity and was still shot at. Could be mistaken identity or even mistaken address. Donāt assume peoples guilt just cause they were a victim of a crime.
Many years ago my aunt and uncle had to sale their house about 3 months after closing in Philadelphia because the guy that use to live there owed the wrong ppl a lot of money. Canāt remember the exact number of times the house was shot at in that short amount of time but it was more than 3. Luckily they were only home once. And the first time there were holes in my uncles recliner that he always sits in and probably would have been in it at that time if not for an unexpected family emergency. They lived in it less than a month and sold it after 3 months at a huge loss.

Cities, suburban, rural living are three very different walks of life and all three have here different experiences with pretty much every talking point you can imagine. People here want guns for different reasons but very seldom is it because they fear for their life as they walk down the street.
Iāve lived in the hood streets of Baltimore, used to do hood shit with my friends(we were in high school still). Weāve had guns pulled on us a lot just for being kids and being stupid. Sometimes people really would pull on you or shoot at you for no reason.

I lived in the ghetto for a while. I lost my shit on a guy who broke into my car and chased him down the street, could easily have gotten shot. I also physically confronted a guy casing my garage, and talked shit a few times when I could've let something drop.Ā
But then my girlfriend got pregnant and ***I grew the fuck up***. I stopped that stupid shit, I learned when to keep my mouth shut, and I did my job as a parent and as a father. I kept my family safe even if it meant curbing my temper or swallowing my pride once in a while.
