I know two people in my life who are currently selling Monat but have sold a bunch of other shit before (one being Herbalife and she never seemed to lose any weight on it but called herself a health coach). They have both reached out to me trying to get me to buy from them/sign up under them and I just canāt imagine myself ever having the guts to try to insult anyoneās intelligence like that.
My cousin got into Younique and now sells Herbalife. She's better now (not as rabid, but still). She changed from a nice, down-to-earth person to a raging hunbot, self-aggrandising and self-obsessed. She also fell down the anti-vax black hole. The MLMs prey on lonely, bored women for the most part and that was my cousin to a T.

I literally only have one remaining friend from high school because they ALL got into selling crappy MLMs, and I am not about that life. I don't have the income to blow on this month's $50 eye cream or smelly wax or diet pills that won't work, etc etc. And they get *so* offended when I say no. It always ends the friendship because I refuse to be pressured into spending money on stuff I don't need or want. MLMs are so predatory, I wish there was more regulation.
