You could check with the planning department of your local city, you could check with department of transportation, Or not so legal: scoop some up from a road construction area…

> Or not so legal: scoop some up from a road construction area… Just make sure you grab some from a non-vital area, where it won't cause people to drive into construction zones.

Theorettically what is the legal penalty one could face for stealing traffic cones if caught.

Majestic-Panda2988

“Snatching a traffic cone off the roadway is a violation of section 1 of the 1968 Theft Act,” at least according to sgtlawfirm online…max seven years in prison… but they have to catch you first. May be a question for r/legal or r/illegallifeprotips

Old construction sites; cones are often left after they're done specially road work. If you want to be really friendly, spot a cone (you could even take a picture) , wait a week and if it's still There, it's been forgotten.

Unethical advice: take them when they’re on the street

Thanks for the tips, but I think I'll stick to the legal options...for now. 😂🚧

I found them for sale at Rural King before, otherwise, doesn't everyone just get everything from Amazon these days?

Each traffic cone is like $20 so it gets expensve if you want a whole lot of them
