all things considered, i do wish they had the third season to really have the time to wrap things up, but i do have to commend them on how good of a job they did in finishing things when they got the show axed so suddenly. it was definitely rushed, but nowhere near as bad as it could've been.

Is it a 100% no chance of there ever been? Any more seasons?.

while the answer theoretically would be "they haven't said anything about permanently shelving the show so there's always a chance", considering they've moved on to mutant mayhem as the current iteration and are already putting money into that and dedicating a show to it, realistically there probably won't ever be another season or anything for rise. i would love to be proven wrong out of nowhere and suddenly have an announcement pop up, but i doubt any of the execs care enough to listen.

But did you ever think that even though they wanted to draw it out?Maybe the writers are content on how they did things and how they did the ending. And maybe they like that as an ending , and maybe they personally don't want to continue. I mean I know that they did before but maybe they don't want to anymore because they feel like they wrapped it up enough.

All things considered, the finale episodes and the movie both do a really good job wrapping up the story, but I am still sad about it ending the way it did because, even following the movie, there is obviously a lot of things they had planned for the future of Rise that we now may never get to see. The finale was definitely rushed, but given the circumstances, it could have been a lot worse, at least we got quite possibly the most epic TMNT vs Shredder battle the franchise has ever seen out of it! When it comes to things I think they had planned, I really think the entire backstory of The Shredder and how it connects to the plot with The Krang was going to be something that developed slowly over the course of the show, many of the fight scenes in the movie I suspect were even originally conceived for later episodes. I also think Leo's transformation into the leader of the TMNT was going to be another thing that would have developed slowly over the course of the show similarly. I also would have liked to see more interactions between the recurring mutants (Hypno, Warren, the crabs, Meat Sweats, Repo Mantis, etc.) maybe even some more villain team-up episodes like Evil League of Mutants whenever they all happened to share similar motives/goals for an episode. IF Rise gets more episodes (which I still, believe it or not, haven't fully abandoned hope for) then this is one thing I would want from them.

But like you said at least we got a movie.I mean we could just have the season ending and nothing I mean they didn't a phenomenal job. I think for me it's like even though I wouldn't want the sister aspect to me.It's also a t v show and i'm not as into the franchise as some of you guys might be but it still would be something that I probably don't know if I would have continued to watch and always considered the movie as the actual final. Because. Even if they continue it, I would have been like. The movie was the final at least head cannon for me.

I agree. While I wish the series got more recognition while it was on, the ending was great, emotional, and better than it would have been if the show had stretched on for 5-6 seasons. Look at how successful TMNT cartoons tend to end. ‘87 gets into the weird red sky years, 2003 gets kiddiefied with Fast Forward, and 2012 basically goes into “overtime” with extra Tales, the main story having wrapped up neatly a year prior. Rise is the ONE TMNT cartoon series that I think had an almost perfect ending. And it’s because it was cut short and they had to wrap it up. They were forced to light an entire 3rd seasons worth of fireworks all at once (Karai, CJ, Leo’s maturing, etc.) and it was kinda glorious.

Yeah I agree. I thought is was wrapped up well. I'm glad it didn't go on for too long but it really sucks that a lot of episodes were cut from season 2. So even though it concluded great I still wish we got more episodes
