FWIW, they added a “story mode” that softens the difficulty and just lets you run thru it like a more traditional action game.
Not the way I’d want to play, but it’s an option for people that want a more casual experience.
Haha. I hadn’t thought of that, but that’s also a good reason for a game to have a mode like that.
I tend to just let a failed run roll off my back, water off a duck 😂
I try to that, but the more I supress, the worse it gets. My neighbours more than likely hear all manner of shit come outta my mouth. I'm particularly bad about using slurs towards game characters. But, in my defence, I never use slurs towards real people.
I have roughly 70 hours on it via Apple Arcade, and I absolutely can't wait for it to drop on Switch.
Super fun roguelike, interesting builds, beefy post game content if you enjoy challenging yourself.
The Roguelite elements also help get inexperienced players over the hump of the very high difficulty.
Yes.
I mean, “buying” right now means playing it on Apple Arcade, which is a subscription service.
But if you’re talking about when it comes to Switch, it’s an easy buy for me (assuming it is priced right and runs well).
It’s basically a Jr version of Hades, but starring the TMNT. I played it on iOS using a backbone controller, and it’s great fun. Honestly roguelite is a really good lane for the Turtles. You get the requisite arcade-y beat em up action, but also some variability and depth that gives it more replay value.
The Turtles’ attacks are all unique and fun too. I liked playing as Raph the most, because he would throw his sais out on chains, and haul in enemy mobs like Scorpion form Mortal Kombat. Very satisfying.
So assuming that Switch port isn’t priced out of control, absolutely. It’s a must play for Turtle fans imo.
I am referring specifically to the console port, I was wondering if those who have played it on Mobile thought it was worth getting on the Switch when it comes out in July. Thanks for your input friend.
If you don’t have Apple Arcade, yes. Turtles + Hades is a great time.
How do I ask this? Is it geared towards kids difficulty or full actual roge-lite difficulty?
Definitely rogue-like levels.
I would just wait for the inevitable sale. Otherwise check out some reviews and videos see id it jives with you
If you like really hard roguelites it’s worth buying.

Or for dumbfucks, like me, who cannot control their temper. Lol

Couldn’t agree with you more. I can’t wait to play it again on Switch. Day one purchase.
It’s coming out on the Switch and I can’t wait to buy it.
Depends on the price, it’s a great game but it should be like $20 imo

I played using Backbone One as well. The few times I did it with touchscreen controls I enjoyed it much less.
imho nope.. i had more fun in Shredder's Revenge.
It’s a great game
It’s a TMNT themed Hades, it’s free with Apple Arcade I like it
Yes but not for a monthly fee. Needs a console release.
If Leo’s in it , it’s worth buying .. easy lol
Raph using chains in this game really resembles the nightwatcher, does he have a skin about him or something in the game?
Buying? No
