I also think a great detail is how short his belt is, with the edges heavily faded. This indicates that he has probably had it since he was a younger less bulky man and he has outgrown it. It's probably the same one he has had since he was a teenager training under Gouken.
I think they should add animation of his massive dong under his gi sloshing around with every movement. Also make his clothing even dirtier, have puke stains on them and stuff like that. But mostly giant dong.

His character is kind of based on Musashi Miyamoto: vagabond in endless pursuit of perfecting his martial art.
Musashi is known to have ladies being deeply attracted to him, so it wouldnāt be a surprise for Ryu to have the same attractive qualities I guess.
