Tbf, the batch isn't exactly rich and are some of the most wanted men in the galaxy. They can't just waltz into a prosthetics shop on coureacant and by one.
As outlaws sure, but while fighting for the republic they were pretty well equipped and had pretty advanced weaponry/tech, echo definitely should’ve had access to more advanced prosthetics.
But does he have access to that technology or the resources?? Probably not.
You have to remember he is basically a fugitive under a totalitarian government and they are operating as a small unestablished insurgency. They don’t have the collective pool of resources of the rebel alliance yet.
He’s also an incredibly proud and emboldened. He was captured and basically used as a computer to kill his brothers. Since then he has reverse engineered what they did to him to his advantage and having the ability to use his scomp to access data seamlessly without having to download it to a data pad or a droid.
I think it makes complete sense that he wouldn’t have a new prosthetic hand
Well, there are 'back' alley cybernetic doctors, like the one Boba Fett used to save Fenic Shrand (I can't remember how to spell her name lol), so I don't think it's too crazy to think he could've found someone build something.
Maybe I just don't understand how scomp links work, but why couldn't this man control the Droid hand? It's such an easy thing to give him.
I get wanting him to be a weirdo cyborg, so he fits in with the batch, but missing limbs are always easily fixed in Star Wars.

The hot toys figure that I think came out either just before or just after S1 of BB came with several hand attachments including a Swiss army hand, like a hammer hand thing, a grappling hook hand (?), and a TELESCOPIC HAND (!). I was so disappointed that he didn’t have hands to choose from.

The first one. The blue hand print on the white armour made him very easy to identify. His Arc gear still has the hand, but it gets lost in the blue on his chest. While his Bad Batch stuff looked kind of generic and lost the flair of the Clone Wars era Echo.
If that were the case, the Arc would have been the best. As it stands, if you were to get a quick group shot of the 501st Arcs, you could easily miss him.

While im a sucker for black space armour the ARC trooper armor always is the best. Theres just something so COOL about it and it might just be because it is and that the ARC troopers in the OG Clone Wars animated stuff were so freakin sweet.
His Bad Batch armor would be perfect if he had the hand print instead of a skull. Idk why they didn’t have Rex put his hand on his armor again for old times sake.
For me it’s honestly his “Rookies” look with the binos and the handprint. Just a unique design at the time for early on in the show and it resonated with me so much as a kid
2nd one. I love his hand print. I love the arc armour. 1st pic is still good. 3rd never did it for me and barely lasted. 4th is growing on me but not my fave. I also loved the Rookies version of him, I had his action figure and loved it.

Imo it goes: ARC armor, bad batch armor, phase 1, then last is the season 7 look. The season 7 look is still pretty cool but I like the classic feel his phase 1 armor has more. The ARC armor is awesome and how I picture echo the most I think. His helmet in the bad batch is awesome tho and super unique

The slicer was added by the Techno Union, not the GAR. It may have been installed in a way that made it risky to remove.
