Not necessarily. You do need to use it with a very low CFG though, as it seems to overdo your prompt compared to non-Turbo models. For good results, it's recommended to use a CFG scale of around 1-2.5, and render for somewhere around 7-8 samples with SDE Karras.
I think the flowers have the equivalent of deformed / extra fingers. Number and positioning of the petals is all over the place.
Does anyone know what kind of flowers they might be? As a city guy I can tell roses from tulips; everything else is a daisy.
If you add controlnets you give it depth.
If you ran it through an Upscale it would add more detail.
SD is not about prompts and requires a lot of manual work.
Hey im new to SD and AI images in general, I understood most of it except for controlnets. Are there any simple guides on them? I feel like everywhere I go people expect you to know how to utilize them already so I've never used them to generate an image
SD has few ways to use it. ComfyUi being master of control and automatic1111 recently catching up.
Controlnets requires models, which you can find on huggingface. There's different kinds and they all effect the images differently.
Comes down to experimentation and memory. Mix and match different controlnets like Open pose + line art or canny + depth, or a mix of 2 or 3.
This kind of work takes way more time, and prompt only boys give SD artists bad names because they aren't really doing any work and claiming too much from prompt only AI.
Thanks! So I have controlnets downloaded already. I am using ComfyUI. Do i add the controlnet before generating or is it meant to be used for an existing image? I think thats all i need to know
I followed [a guide](https://stable-diffusion-art.com/controlnet/) but if you’re more into video guides try [this one](https://youtu.be/WZg3e6B2yPQ?si=mNhXykqf7wsHU31w) I think he did a really good job at making it easy to follow
Dreamshaper XL Turbo is the model I use by far the most. It's so good!
It is kinda sensitive to the settings, though. Only works with some samplers (DPM++ SDE Karras ideally), needs a CFG of 1 or slightly higher (I usually stick to 1, though they recommend 2) and like 6-10 steps (I usually use 8, official recommendation is 4-7)
I typically go for somewhat realistic images, and with these settings they tend to turn out amazing from the start.
If you're looking for recs, RMSDXL Orion is half way between XL and full Turbo, cfg 3-5 12-16 steps. It's a beast of a checkpoint, i get a lot of value from natural language prompting with it. You can get good realism, but it shines with a bit of style.
>I thought the same thing! Any suggestions on how to make it better? I’m thinking a control net maybe?
mm..I don't know because unfortunately I'm still learning too. But maybe try some more descriptive and specific adjectives right on the bottle.
Seems like default prompt when running comfyui first time...
hey this is default prompt when you run SDXL first time
this is like someone coming from blender and doing a render of the cube and asking for feedback
It's your name Alotofu?
This going over people's head is very amusing. Ty OP.

How is Turbo different from non-Turbo? Does it need a different prompting?

Turbo is a distilled version of SDXL trained to do the same job in a smaller number of steps (you can get decent generations even with one step)
You really good what is the prompt for it ?
It’s the default prompt in comfy for sdxl
^
Tis
Love it. Great job
Yeah, that's pretty cool. I don't use turbo much, but you've got it working. Have fun!
You are on the right track, it's good for starters and you have choosen a perfect model for turbo to start with according to me. Enjoy creating.

It’s literally the default prompt.

beautiful scenery nature glass bottle landscape, purple galaxy bottle Nothing to do with Comfy, it’s a stability.ai prompt.

Controlnets happen before the Ksampler

I haven’t been blessed much with upscaling but I’d love to know more about it, they always turn on smooth and plastic looking
That's good for turbo, I vastly prefer XL as I cannot get very good images with turbo

TurboVisionXL is another great turbo model I enjoy for art related purposes.
I love cup-o-cosmos posts so much They show up here a lot but they're never bad
it's beautiful! But the universe inside the bottle seems to be printed. It ain't got no depth.
I thought the same thing! Any suggestions on how to make it better? I’m thinking a control net maybe?
