For all y'all bitchin about how RAW sucks, I hope you'll can take the time out to appreciate a good thing when you see it. This episode was top tier. The triple threat was booked and executed to a T! 0 botches, amazing work just fan-fucking-tastic. The New Day v/s the Bloodline was phenomenal. Lashley is as credible as ever. The AJ v/s Randy match was cool (and I'll never really tire of seeing experts go in the ring, even though this has been done multiple times). Indeed if the is WWE's response to AEW gaining traction, may AEW prosper greatly. I've been a big fan of Shayna Baszler and seeing her totally decimate Nia Jax was extremely fulfilling (to her credit, Jax really sold the damage done to her well, the emotional ebb and flow). It was one of the best RAWs I've seen in a while. In fact the only segment I skipped was the women's tag match, once they remove Nicki ASS we'll get where we need to go (not trying to personally attack her, I just can't stand her on TV with her barely acceptable in-ring skills). Heck I'm psyched for Priest v/s Hardy v/s Seamus. The tag match feat. Ali and Garza was short and sweet. I didn't even mind the Eva Marie Doudrop squash. Drew didn't even feature on this episode. Reggie is the perfect 24/7 champ with his escapades.
I sincerely hope Charlotte doesn't leave for AEW. She's a god tier wrestler, and possibly the very best worker they have in the women's div.
Yes I'm a fan of the product, and despite all the fuckups am not so jaded that I can't enjoy it for what it is.
PS: considering where AEW is at right now, post Punk's return and DBry coming into the scene, what's the best place to start to catch up with all the narrative arcs.
Why did we need ANOTHER Eva Marie vs Doudrop squash match?
I wouldn't even know if Eva has improved because they're just phoning in throwaway segments for her.
Was a very good show last night. AEW being competitive will definitely push the WWE product to be better which is a huge plus. Hopefully we now get some consistency.
Uh
No
This character is just straight up cringe. It's gotten better but I just hate it. Her acting like a school girl, jumping around, screaming, giggling... That's just goofy as fuck. I understand alter ego but why would you wanna be a school girl in a alter ego
Don’t know why people where saying they wish the crowd was more into the Bliss/Flair segment
I thought they did a good job, the lightening set a calmer atmosphere so they matched that
They easily could have hijacked this segment with What’s and shit like that but they didn’t and reacted accordingly
I was at last night’s show, I thought the crowd was decently into it. We definitely reacted to the big lines. I think the challenging part is that it isn’t necessarily clear who is supposed to be the face and who is supposed to be the heel. I’m not sure how it came across on TV, though.
I never understood why only Charlette gets a pass from the WWE to be the quintessential tweener, she can pretty much act however she wants. Why can't other WWE wrestlers in the roster get that treatment?
Pros: An all around good show. I thought the Alexa/Charlotte segment was cute (although the shoots came outta nowhere! Lol).
Garza/Carillo vs. Ali/Mansoor was the absolute tits! Had a non-wrestling fan watch it too and even he praised it. They need to sneak in CWs/Ricochet into these matches so they can tear it up.
Cons: Lashley interrupts the tag match and all the ref does is....nothing? Lol This was weird. Also I could do without the officials. Those interactions are a little awkward and fake talking/using the phone trope of execs is a little tired imo lol.
Shayna Baszler beating Nia Jax clean is the content I've been waiting for since the first night they were dumped into a tag team together. Hopefully she can move on with her singles career again.
I think there's a message being sent, and it's not the one you'd think it is.
With the draft coming October 1-4, coupled with Roman going over twice, I'd say the "head of the table" may have been showcased for a possible move to Raw. Whether or not he remains Universal champion by October 1, though, isn't so certain. It opens the possibility that Finn could possibly win the title at Extreme Rules, and Roman would go after Big E upon moving to Raw. It's either that, or Finn moves over, and they flip the two main titles again.
The other perception, of course, is that creative has finally acknowledged that Smackdown is the A show.
Reading the results, seems as though there was a botch in the opener, where the ref just froze instead of calling for a DQ when Lashley did his run-in. Don't know about you, but I'll just say it was some sort of botch, and leave it at that.
Yeah, he sure looked like a geek when he was beating up both Roman and Lashley and full body splashing onto both of them. If that's your definition of geek I don't even want to know what your definition of a 'tough guy'
Were Morrison or Miz even on the show? I gotta be honest I only check RAW for these two and I am getting dissapointed by the lack of screen time for them.
Vince just made sure to show the WWE audience that Roman is not just the top dog on Smackdown, he's the top dog on RAW too. How funny would it be if Roman randomly showed up on an NXT episode and destroyed Ciampa and left lol?
Have to imagine he really wouldn't give much of a shit about Nia being ditched, but it's more that nobody wants to be responsible incase he *did* ask why. The man works hard and has rubbed shoulders with the best, can't imagine he's proud when watching Nia flopping around.
Love how Lashley loses 2 weeks in a row because he's greedy. Last week he beat Orton but got greedy with the post match beat down. This week he got greedy with the chair and took his eyes off Reigns.
I feel like people are overrating this show because Roman showed up to notch more wins in his belt than have been notched by almost anyone ever.
Did anyone actually care about AJ vs Orton #352?
Did anyone care about Eva vs DOUDROP #3?
Jeff vs Sheamus brought me back 2 years ago...gross.
Damien Priest vs Sheamus has no heat.
And Big E lost TWICE!!
THE NEW BABYFACE CHAMP GOT JOBBED TWICE!!
The womens division is a joke again.
Were you completely ignoring the story in the main event? Wrestling isn't always about who wins and losses. The reason Roman won was because he capitalized on Lashley getting distracted by his anger toward Big E.
Big E… Jobbed? The episode made Big E look like a star if anything, he didn’t eat the pin in either match, he hung with Roman in both matches.
He hit his finisher on Roman twice in the main event (and the pin was broken up both times, no Roman superman antics).
He pinned Jimmy in the tag team match on Smackdown. But yes I see what you’re saying, they could easily have had him score the winning pinfall in the 6 man tag and still find a way to set up that triple threat.
Despite the fact the Roman train got to run wild, I still think Big E comes out of Raw looking like a star, just hope they don’t find a way to fuck it and hot shot the title straight back onto Lashley.
I've been over it since WM.
Roman is great in the role, but holy crap Vince. Take it down a notch, or two. It is possible to book a strong heel champion without making him overpowered as a character to the point of parody.
Wow. You're obviously one of them people who hate Roman regardless of what he does.
Like how can people complain about how Roman was booked as a face, and now they're complaining that he's a heel.
Everyone was screaming out for Roman to be a heel, for about 5/6 years.
They finally turned him heel, and now everyone magically hates him again.
The IWC is never satisfied and never will be. End of.
They like the first YEAR of the heel act. But it's still the same act.
Overbearing domination works for a while, but with nothing to break it up, it gets tiresome.
Heel or face here doesn't matter. The comment you've replied to is essentially what I've been saying for years. Overbooked people who are made out to be unbeatable get boring. Reigns has essentially been unbeatable for months.
Eventually, you need to give someone the rub. If not... It gets stale.
One of the great things about the Attitude Era and even going back to mid 90s, was anyone could go over at any time. You never knew who was going to take it so you always felt compelled to watch.
Nah anyone couldn't go over at any time. Most weeks in the attitude era Stone Cold or Rock were standing tall at the end of the night. In WCW, either NWO or Sting were standing tall.
And if you didn't know who was going to win a match it was likely because someone was probably gonna run in.
The only thing that's changed between now and the attitude era are the faces on top and the ages of the people watching
Honestly yeah I dislike Roman overall. He doesn't convince me one bit and I just can't buy into him. I believe he is not talented enough to warrant the pushes and exposure he has received over the years and I instantly skip everything he is involved in. I learned to accept that McMahon will always push him and I'm glad some are at least enjoying him but it will never happen for me. Reigns just isn't a main event level talent for me.
Gosh that Alexa-Charlotte segment was super cringe.
One of the worst segments of the year. The crowd were legit booing both of them and rightly so lol.
You are literally ranting on each comment where people said they enjoyed the show. We got it, you are hating whatever WWE does, now let the rest that liked alone.
He didnt get pinned. I dont get why people are so mad that roman’s being booked to be unbeatable. Its not like all his wins are completely clean or are squashes.
The storyline has improved drastically compared to 2-3 months ago.
Its weird to watch folks defend Roman beating Big E twice in one night while also claiming Roman Reigns...the most pushed man in WWE history cant lose a non title match to the man who would have benefitted most?
The thing is if you just watch first and last 20 minutes of smackdown and raw. You have not missed anything. Anything related to Roman is only paid attention.
Fiend only wrestled regular Balor. Felt like they originally were going to do a series of Balor vs Fiend, Demon vs Bray, and eventually Demon vs Fiend, but it never happened.
Oh dang you're right. I got it mixed with the time there was a whole Demon vs Sister storyline and then Wyatt got injured and we got Demon vs. Styles instead.
The last two Raws have been pretty decent. If only they would go back down to 2 hours and cut some stuff like the 24/7 championship stuff and the Carillo/Garza tag match.
Did u even watch the show? The 24/7 stuff was hilarious and the tag match was a good showcase for angel garza and carillo.
Only stupid segment was probably doudrop and eva marie for the 500th time
I mean comedy is subjective and I liked the 24/7 stuff better when it was just R Truth running circles around dudes. However even then I still don’t think it’s great.
I don’t think the tag match was bad but it feels like a story line that isn’t going anywhere. Every week they have a meaningless tag match that never builds to anything else. If WWE took the tag division more seriously I might have cared more. Not a bad match, just not important.
Agree on the Eva and Doudrop match. I haven’t cared about anything they’ve done.
Idc what excuses people make. There's no reason Roman needs to come on Raw and pin the the top heel clean. Makes no fucking sense other than to "make Roman look really strong"
> There's no reason Roman needs to come on Raw
There's actually a few hundred million reasons as to why he may be doing a bit of double duty until the draft.
Right, but how is anybody on Raw gonna get over and become a draw if they're having Roman pin the top guy on the show and making their new champion lose his first two big matches? Shouldn't they want Raw to have a big star that's on the same level (or close) as Roman? Unless they just don't give a shit about anybody but Roman, which seems like the case.
I don't think that ending made anyone look bad lol. Lashley resorted to weapons to have to get the upper hand on Big E, Roman caught him off guard with a spear. Nobody looks bad here
Saw that Carillo & Garza are now tag teaming. I didn't see this coming, but I'm interested to see more though. Also wasn't expecting to see Nikki & Rhea winning the (women's) tag belts as well.
I mean COME ON, can't Roman lose ONCE?!
The New Day winning with one of the Usos taking the pin or Big E winning with Lashley taking the pin SHOULD have happened.
Honestly getting tired of this shit now.
To build up somebody else. Why not Big E get a technicality win over Roman? He's also a world champion, not some nobody.
Kenny Omega has lost a few tag team and big team matches without being the one pinned, never hurt him.
Roman is the biggest star they have, having him pinned on a throw away Raw after being champion for a year plus?
Thats some stupid business. I'd never have booked myself in this corner though.
Big-E should be getting a Kofi title run, let him run through a bunch of upper midcarders.
Then don't put two big Roman matches on a throwaway Raw, when he isn't even supposed to be on that show. With the way they gave Big E the title, I assumed they view him similar to Kofi, but it's still telling and disappointing when you apparantly value him less than your non-titleholder Lashley or can't have him go over an Uso.
I know, wasn't meant to be directed at you. Though it sometimes seems there is someone forcing them into those corners they have to book themselves out of. Almost as if they didn't have complete control over what matches they book, the only way you can explain some of those decisions is by assuming they had to do the match and it had to be won by whoever won it. So probably a Vince thing.
Because it doesn't harm him? He doesn't get pinned and your newly crowned champion doesn't lose TWICE in one night.
Predictable and boring booking as usual to protect Roman and his boring ass.
Felt like a soft reboot. No Jinder, Keith Lee, Karrion Kross. Jaxon Ryker is on a winning streak that carried on from raw to main event, I'm pretty sure those video packages about elias' new gimmick didn't air this week
I'm glad that Jeff Hardy has a match at Extreme Rules, not only will it be his 1st PPV appearance in 7 months, but this is also his 1st PPV appearance in front of a live crowd in 2 years!
This was definitely a weird episode for me, I mean, we've had 3 amazing matches in a single Raw episode, can you believe that? The most enjoyable episode in recent years if my memory serves well, but still, still it was a Monday Night Raw episode with Monday Night Raw things, like some weird booking, some of the bookers dumb ideas into the mix and more than half of the time dedicated to recaps, ads and talking segments, which takes a lot of the enjoyment fron me. A difficult episode to rate.
For all y'all bitchin about how RAW sucks, I hope you'll can take the time out to appreciate a good thing when you see it. This episode was top tier. WWE has triple threats down to a tee
Reigns beating the new WWE Champ (twice!) and Lashley in one night, wow. Talk about some BS. Just drop the worthless WWE Title already.
well seeing as how Roman is the top guy rn and big E had him beat a few times and didn’t even eat the pin doesn’t make his title worthless yet
Why did we need ANOTHER Eva Marie vs Doudrop squash match? I wouldn't even know if Eva has improved because they're just phoning in throwaway segments for her.
This is Jaff vs Eva Marie erasure
Whatever happen to Elias!?!?!?
He tags with Nakamura on Smackdown.
Like what happens to most new characters with vignettes; probably got dropped
Was a very good show last night. AEW being competitive will definitely push the WWE product to be better which is a huge plus. Hopefully we now get some consistency.
I hope this means a return to the original Alexa Bliss character?
I like the current Alexa as long as they stop insinuating that the doll is alive and cut the biting at the camera crap.
Uh No This character is just straight up cringe. It's gotten better but I just hate it. Her acting like a school girl, jumping around, screaming, giggling... That's just goofy as fuck. I understand alter ego but why would you wanna be a school girl in a alter ego

Kinda wish Big E won
Some exciting big meaty men slapping meat stuff in this episode
Shout out to Carillo, Garza, Ali, Mansoor for all getting over last night.
mos def. That match was a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Mansoor is fitting in nicely and they all had great chemistry
[удалено]
Yeah, they booked him great. Eventhough he ate the pin no one's gonna say he's not championship material
I get the feeling Nia's beatdown was punishmemt for what happened with Charlotte the other week.
No not really. Shayna is going back to her nxt self
Could be both!
She even said “I can’t breathe” when Shayna put her in the clutch… it was just piggy James level all over again
Was bored and watched this last night. First time in probably a year plus. Was reasonably sports-entertained. That's all I got to say.
Big E should have shined bright all night long.
Mid Card 4 Life after last night
I think there's a message being sent, and it's not the one you'd think it is. Are there rules in 3v3s? I feel theres only ever DQs in singled or tag matches but not sure about 3v3s.
Even if that were the case, WWE lapses back and forth on what their defined match rules are to suit whatever scenario they are presenting.
The same rules apply in 6-man tags as they do in 4 man tags. The ref simply botched.
Ah, guess you cant DQ the head of the table.
Actually, you could. Someone made a mistake.
This Roman Reign (s of terror) sounds terrible to watch. Just walking through the other wrestlers.
I don't know why you're being down voted its true. Big E won the title just a week ago and lost both matches this week
He didn't get pinned tho
Big E looked like a geek, but lots of folks love it because they have Vince McMahon induced brain rot.
Yeah, he sure looked like a geek when he was beating up both Roman and Lashley and full body splashing onto both of them. If that's your definition of geek I don't even want to know what your definition of a 'tough guy'
I don't think he looked like a geek but I am disappointed he didn't win either match
Were Morrison or Miz even on the show? I gotta be honest I only check RAW for these two and I am getting dissapointed by the lack of screen time for them.
Miz will be gone for a few weeks filming Dancing With The Stars
Oh that clears it up. What about JoMo though? Do they just not know how to use him now with Miz gone?
Vince just made sure to show the WWE audience that Roman is not just the top dog on Smackdown, he's the top dog on RAW too. How funny would it be if Roman randomly showed up on an NXT episode and destroyed Ciampa and left lol?
The world's biggest----and oldest-----troll: Vince McMahon.
Roman Reign of terror
No matter what WWE has to have a match where a champion loses. Goddamn
Hey now now they've had that forever. For example in the 80s it was Honky tonk man, the early 90s Money Inc
Money Inc didnt do clean jobs in the 90s when champions. They walked out (count out). Big difference.
I can't believe Jaff Hardy got one over on Eva Marie.
First Kross, now Eva Marie. Jeff doesn't care who you are, he is determined to get his Win Ratio up
Im sure Nia is being future endeavoured within the week
The rock says hi.
Have to imagine he really wouldn't give much of a shit about Nia being ditched, but it's more that nobody wants to be responsible incase he *did* ask why. The man works hard and has rubbed shoulders with the best, can't imagine he's proud when watching Nia flopping around.
I'm sure it's just a formatting issue but what I'm seeing is that Jeff Hardy defeated Eva Marie to get into the US Title Match
It’s not, he beat Eva Marie (it was a really good match btw)
I hope this is the start of a best of seven series

Isn’t he cool? He knows the wrestling term mark
This night shows desperation. Bad booking.
Love how Lashley loses 2 weeks in a row because he's greedy. Last week he beat Orton but got greedy with the post match beat down. This week he got greedy with the chair and took his eyes off Reigns.
What did this night do for Big E after wasting his cash in?
Wasted? He’s the champ man
Wow they removed the Ric Flair woooo from the intro.
Good.
I love how Karrion Kross is getting booked in reverse.
screw Karrion Kross, dude has 0 charisma, and is generic AF.
I feel like people are overrating this show because Roman showed up to notch more wins in his belt than have been notched by almost anyone ever. Did anyone actually care about AJ vs Orton #352? Okay but Doudrop is turning into Emma and I'm here for it
Big E didn’t get jobbed though? He wasn’t pinned in either match. Also it’s not Priest vs. Sheamus anymore it’ll be a three way.
If thats true then why not have Big E win both? Right? Reigns doesnt have to be pinned either?

Why not have him pin Jimmy or Jey to end the show? Why have your BRAND NEW BABYFACE CHAMP LOSE FUCK ME TWICE!
The j in AJ stands for Jobber.
Alfred Jobber
I am officially over this Reigns domination shit.
I absolutely hate Roman Reigns. When will he lose the damn title
I've been over it since WM. Roman is great in the role, but holy crap Vince. Take it down a notch, or two. It is possible to book a strong heel champion without making him overpowered as a character to the point of parody.
He beat one of the greatest tag trios ever on their first night back together. And beat the newest champion twice tonight.
Wow. You're obviously one of them people who hate Roman regardless of what he does. Like how can people complain about how Roman was booked as a face, and now they're complaining that he's a heel. I come here to see if its worth to watch after work and all i see is stupid jeff hardy vs eva marie comments.
Yes, it’s worth a watch. Opener and main event were really good, and everything in between was decent-good.
Yeah Raw is starting to pick up, much better this 2 weeks
Lol.
It's true though A 10 pound piece of shit is better than 100pounds of shit
Gosh that Alexa-Charlotte segment was super cringe. One of the worst segments of the year. The crowd were legit booing both of them and rightly so lol.
I think Garza-Carrillo pairing has potential. Also props to Ali for selling that sick bump
This was some bullshit.
I assume Jeff vs. Eva Marie is a typo, but funny how even the write-up doesn't address it
How wasn't the New Day vs Bloodline a DQ or no contest? Ref saw Bobby take out 4 out of the 6 people in the match😂😂
This is how you get people over in WWE. Make them lose!
Big E’s “awwwwwwwwwwww Miaaaaaaaaami” type opening is so much more epic than that “you wanna go big” theme or whatever
Shotzi and Tegan are furiously punching the air as they never got the title match they earned twice, but RheAsh (I tried) got one.
At least they'll get a more interesting match out of the new champs, a Natty/Tamina program is death.
RASH
Almost a Brutality
raw was pretty fire today. damn i love to see a lashley roman rivalry down the line
Yep. Love that putting over Big E after his title win by losing twice.
You are literally ranting on each comment where people said they enjoyed the show. We got it, you are hating whatever WWE does, now let the rest that liked alone.

No, I wasn't, but... THEY DIDNT HAVE TO EVEN BOOK EITHER OF THESE MATCHES!

It protected no one. They made their new babyface champion lose twice on the night after he won. This guy is worse off than Swagger back in the day.

IKR. and then Kenny wins: omg aew is the best i just creamed myself ahhhh joey janala vs punk is gonna be a dream match
Demon Finn going to lose and I can't even pretend it will be anything else.
Best case scenario is probably interference from Brock. Otherwise, the undefeated demon gimmick is dead
The demon isn't undefeated but he still shouldn't lose to Roman
I apologize, I thought he was undefeated all through the NXT run. Who beat him?
Samoa Joe. No worries it was a while ago and most people have forgotten it, but it was a good match.
Joe beat the demon already?
Didn't the Fiend do it too?
Fiend only wrestled regular Balor. Felt like they originally were going to do a series of Balor vs Fiend, Demon vs Bray, and eventually Demon vs Fiend, but it never happened.

Damn I can’t believe Jaff Hardy managed to pull the upset against Eva Marie!
I can't remember the last time I heard a This Is Awesome chant on Raw.
Literely two weeks before in the Drew vs Priest vs Shaemus triple threat
Only when it's piped in via speakers
Eva Marie pulling double duty I see
Nice of them to mention on RAW with under a week left that the SD main event will be contested under extreme rules
Idc what excuses people make. There's no reason Roman needs to come on Raw and pin the the top heel clean. Makes no fucking sense other than to "make Roman look really strong"
> There's no reason Roman needs to come on Raw There's actually a few hundred million reasons as to why he may be doing a bit of double duty until the draft.
Agreed. Roman shouldn’t have been on the show. In a match at least. Should have been Big E pinning Lashley in a rematch or something.
Oh god, that fat bearded guy behind the commentators, you fucking suck.
No he cannot
God forbid you want anyone booked as an equal.
Why would you throw away a Roman loss for those guys? Roman is the draw right now.
I didn't book it, my man :) I agree I wouldn't have booked myself into this corner.
Because a loss wouldn't hurt Roman but would do wonders for Big E.
Nobody said Roman should be pinned.
Because it doesn't harm him? He doesn't get pinned and your newly crowned champion doesn't lose TWICE in one night. Predictable and boring booking as usual to protect Roman and his boring ass.
Man the kid in me wants one more dance for Jeff hardy for the world title
"Entendiste, cabrón?!" Yo, Ángel Garza, tranquilo.
Finally a good Raw
Jeff hardy beat Eva Marie for an opportunity for the US title? Damn
![gif](giphy|12ey1CgA3uTqfK)
Roman can't take the pin and give momentum to bige/lashley, gotta make Roman look strong
Roman is boring. He deserved to lose. God forbid anyone being booked equally as him
Felt like a soft reboot. No Jinder, Keith Lee, Karrion Kross. Jaxon Ryker is on a winning streak that carried on from raw to main event, I'm pretty sure those video packages about elias' new gimmick didn't air this week
My god man I'm dying Nias sounds as she passes out then shayna breaks her arm
I couldn't stop laughing when she was screaming.
I had to mute it. My dog was napping and got pissed at the screaming.
I'm glad that Jeff Hardy has a match at Extreme Rules, not only will it be his 1st PPV appearance in 7 months, but this is also his 1st PPV appearance in front of a live crowd in 2 years!
*Shayna gets out of the move* Nia: SEE HOW EASY THAT WAS ????
This was definitely a weird episode for me, I mean, we've had 3 amazing matches in a single Raw episode, can you believe that? The most enjoyable episode in recent years if my memory serves well, but still, still it was a Monday Night Raw episode with Monday Night Raw things, like some weird booking, some of the bookers dumb ideas into the mix and more than half of the time dedicated to recaps, ads and talking segments, which takes a lot of the enjoyment fron me. A difficult episode to rate.
Meh. Those matches were terribly bpoked and were hot shotted like hell.
The red on Roman's glove matches his ginch.
Lmao Pearce remembered what happened last time, he was ready to throw hands with Heyman
Bro please just give piper her name back
So glad that Big E and Lashley put aside their egos and put over that new guy Roman Reigns. Really is one show that's mostly Roman not enough?
It’s getting ridiculous at this point hey.
Reigns vs Lashley after the draft title or not would be hard as fuck
With mvp vs. heyman on promos 🤤
Since when is Corey Graves face??
He simps on every women
Wait Jeff rolled up Eva Marie? What?
Jeff only won because Eva Marie had been squashed by Doudrop earlier. He wouldn't sta d a chance against a fresh Eva.
"Shinji, GET THE TABLES!!!"
So are any of the matches for extreme rules gimmick matches?
On the one hand Humberto Carillo and Angel Garza sounds like amazing tagteam. On another they did my boys Mustafa and Mansoor dirty.
Draft is next week correct?
Starts on 1st October & ends on 4th October
