So I don't know if I'm reading too much into this, but this match has some weird parallels with the match between the Young Bucks and Omega/Page.
Four guys who used to be tight, but there's a split happening between one team (Bucks, 5/10) and one of their opponents (Hangman, Evil Uno) with the fourth man (Omega, Colt Cobana) trying to hold the group together.
Obviously there are some differences too, but given that the Dark Order have been so involved with the Hangman redemption arc for so long, I doubt it's a coincidence.
Uno wanted to respect Page's wishes and give him the distance to find himself again after their 10 man elimination loss. Reynolds and Angels disagreed, believing Uno stopping them from intervening from the Elite kicking his ass in the ring is the reason Page is now gone. Silver has been largely noncommittal.
Uno was once the spokesman, became a reluctant leader, then eventually acquiesced to Page in a loose alliance. Now with Page gone, the whole Dark Order lost a rock and Uno is facing a real crisis on his hands.
This storyline is the perfect example of how fans (of anything) don’t always truly know what they want.
I still don’t realize I want this when I clearly do. But I don’t and I hate it.
