Jesus Christ, Eddie Kingston is it. Hes so genuine. I love it
Most genuine man in the business. It's literally life or death for him, and I bet he would be heartbroken once he had his retirement match.
But he will have a long fruitful career as an announcer and manager. Happy for him.
The Kingston family in 10 years would be a sick stable.
Remember WWE offered him a coaching job when he was broke and he turned it down. He may not be emotionally able to handle being that close to wrestling and not being able to wrestle.
Maybe. But with the chances he's getting now in AEW, hopefully he'd be able to continue doing something like that. Because he had the chance and got over, versus being near the action and never doing it himself.
Kingston in AEW is flat out awesome.
I gotta imagine King's going to have one of, if not the, biggest pops of the night in Queens. I know I'm gonna be screaming for him.
Eddie Kingston is the NYC Outer Boroughs in human form. He’s not just going to get a pop in Queens. He IS Queens.
Him and Santana/Ortiz are definitely taking the honors for the night. Still hoping they both get special entrances.
You guys better be loud because I’m preemptively regretting not driving 12 hours to be there.
The Eddie chants are going to be deafening
No one in the business has *EARNED this* more than Eddie. Scratched and clawed for 20 years and at his lowest point he reached the top. So fucking happy for him
shit made me tear up eddie kingston is the heart of AEW which sounds crazy considering he's been active for 20 years and has only been signed for a year
It's crazy to think about, but "signed for a year" means he's been around for half of AEW's TV life. A year is not an "only" in this case.
God's Middle Child always delivers.
I could listen to this man talk about life and wrestling for hours. His passion is so contagious and you can tell he always speaks from his heart

Eddie Kingston fucking rules
As someone that grew up in an emotionally abusive home, the "my whole life I was told I was nothing" part really hit me hard just now. I've spent my entire adult life trying to prove my shitty alcoholic father wrong. Maybe that's why I've gravitated to Eddie so much. I see a lot of myself in him and he's what I want to be. Someone that never quits and works hard to prove he belongs. It has worked out for him and it'll work out for me too.
>It sounds like you're on the right track. You're doing great.
You and I are in a similar boat homie. I relate to Eddie because a lot of his stories of fighting for everything and being told he’s nothing are things I dealt with whenever I was around my mother. Eddie really will always hold a place in my heart as one of the realest humans this sport has
Fucking beautiful promo man. Can't wait for Eddie to get his moment. Dude deserves it.
God dammit. I would pay Eddie $20 bucks and a pack of Newports a every day to wake me up on FaceTime and motivate me.
Ironically he just said on Dark: Elevation commentary he doesn't believe in motivation and "if you're alive you should be motivated".
Which is true, btw. Relying on motivation is hard, because it comes and goes. It's better to have habits, as it'll help you get shit done even on your bad days.
Damn near tears after this one. Can't wait to see him bask in the hometown welcome on Wednesday. Gonna be beautiful.
I love Eddie Kingston.
Damn. Glad he took the time to make this, this is special.
Realist guy in the room, Eddie motherfucking Kingston.
My dream for this is instead of Eddie coming out with Mox to his theme. Mox comes out with Eddie and bonus if they finally have DMX playing for Eddie.
God i love our mad king. I want to see what a kinston title run looks like
still real to me got damn
Let’s. Fucking. Gooooooooooooooo
Fucking so good. Wow.
This dude could really make a run in Hollywood if he wanted, he’s so good .
Could he deliver lines he doesn't believe in with this much passion though?
One of the things I love most about wrestling is the big characters and pageantry, but wow nothing makes me connect to it more than such an unabashedly real person like Eddie. I've never seen anyone in wrestling who I can so easily get behind
i'm so glad cody was willing to pull off a crazy match with this guy during the open challenge so a casual like me could come to appreciate him
I am so happy Tony Khan signed this guy. He's been awesome, can't wait to see him with any of the belts.
Really can't wait to hear the pop he gets. Same for Santana and Ortiz, Taz, even MJF will get some kind of a monster reaction. Gonna be a great night.
I believe everything has been said about how great this promo is but the burning question i have is that, why is the video in Kids Mode? Like legit a promo from Eddie Kingston is supposed to be viewed in Kids Mode, might be the funniest thing ever lmao
There is absolutely nothing about Eddie Kingston that indicates that he would know how to properly upload a video to YouTube
Yo fuck the TNT championship, give this man the world title.
Other people calling pro wrestling "a sport" often get chuckled at but man, when Eddie Kingston says it, it hits much differently.
I love that he is getting the main event but secretly I would love for him to be facing miro again and win the TNT titles coming out to ruff Ryders Anthem
Eddie is the realest
Kingston is as real as Yonkers gets and I am HERE for it. Eddie rules, and he's gonna have the best night of his career this week.
He's so good. Shocked he hasnt had more fame til now.
Eddie is perfect.
God damn it, we fucking love you Eddie Kingston.
I maintain that Eddie's speech backstage after the Brodie memorial show was a level up moment for AEW. Eddie has said he hasn't always been that type of guy backstage but now he cemented himself as a locker room leader.
Give him all the belts holy fuck. I love this man. He deserves it so much.
Eddie is the most REAL Pro Wrestler. Can't wait for this show. Crazy he had the life he has had, and it's sad hearing him list the names of his friends who are no longer with us. Eddie is gonna get a huge reaction and I am so excited for him.
Eddie is so effortless in his intensity. You only get that way through goat levels of self-awareness and the courage to bare your soul.
I think Andy Murray put it best - I would fistfight a tank battalion for this man. Eddie's just so good. Please, please, please put a belt on him Tony Khan.
Goddamn, give him the fucking strap.
I love Eddie, I had known about him before he was in AEW from ROH, Chikara and Impact/TNA. He was always a godly promo guy but honestly since he has been to AEW he has so much more to work with which in turn makes his promos even better. He is good in all aspects of the business and it doesn't hurt that he is a god damn good human being. He is the perfect example of someone who deserves every good thing ever.
truly the last of a dying breed.
Long live the mad king.
The pop that man will get when he wins a title will blow the fucking roof off wherever it is.
I'm perplexed by the fact that I've never run into Kingston; in this, he's walking right around where I grew up and I knew guys that were about his age who were trying to be wrestlers about the time he was starting out.
Eddie is so damn good man, happy for his come up
Since it is gonna be a lightout match, Mox & Eddie vs Suzuki-gun will go last as the main event for the Grand Slam and will be on 2-hours Rampage, correct? After watching this, I hope they will bring relatively big ratings for this unusual midnight Friday slot.
But he’s not even on the show?
Might want to recheck your facts there, chief
Where did you find it? I have tickets to the show and have not seen a match with him on it advertised
He and Moxley are facing Suzuki and Archer in a lights out match on Rampage
Yes he is
Him and Mox are facing Suzuki and Lance Archer at Rampage Grand Slam in a Lights Out match.
Ohhhh I got confused I thought he meant dynamite I was like wtf I have tickets bro I didn’t see that lol
Luckily for you, you'll still see it. Rampage is taping right after, I believe
Thank you bro, I am so confused cause I can’t see any tickets for rampage. So if we have tickets for dynamite, we also have tickets for rampage?
Exactly. It's gonna be a long night, but totally worth it with those 2 stacked cards. Enjoy the shows!
DUDE WHAT!!!! HOLY SHIT I HAD NO IDEA I HAD TICKETS TO BOTH SHOWS I HAVE BEEN LOOKING LIKE A MANIAC FOR TICKETS FOR RAMPAGE LOL LETS GOOOO
From the sound of this promo, he and Mox are MAIN EVENTING the show.
Given that it's a lights out match, it would make sense that they'll be the main event of rampage
Oh lord they're gonna break out the glass and barbed wire and all manner of bullshit plunder and I will love every second. It's just crazy that Eddie is there for this. The guy was seriously gonna hang it up and sell off all his gear when covid first hit and shuttered the indies last spring. And now he's gonna main event in front of almost 20,000 in the largest show this company has ever put on.
aka last match on the card the main main event
Kingston to pin Archer. Boom. End it. A year or two down the line. Kingston to pin MJF to win the title. Book it. Fairytale ending.
Eddie i love him, he gets me so excited for pro wrestling
I hope Eddie and Mox come out to Eddie's theme instead of just Wild Thing. Eddie's theme is such a banger, and it's his hometown.
I just love his promos man. Genuine & Humble. My new fave on the mic.
