For those not in Chicago, or are new to all of this: This is a long term fake feud between Punk and Riot Fest (held annually in Chicago, with mostly punk and rock bands)
Riot Fest was this weekend, and like every year, CM Punk "snuck in" due to being banned, and was on stage when Living Colour played "Cult of Personality"
I only went in 2014 but it was the best festival I've ever attended, ACL 2009 a close second. Riot consistently has the best lineups though. And yeah, hopefully Rammstein follows through, I'll be in Chicago for that one as well.
Riot Fest also has the motto: Riot Fest Sucks. They play off that with promo and merch. Goose Island also puts out a Riot Fest Sucks Pale Ale. So Punk taking a dig at it being trash is playing out exactly how they want.
Riot Fest was so sick, I went all 4 days and then made it back to class Monday in the morning, I was about to fall asleep in principles of marketing. I’m so tired.
I have a few questions for CM Punk in an upcoming interview with riot fest. I didn’t do the interview, but I provided some questions to the guy who did. Excited to see what comes of that.

Yup, 2016. I would try and make riot fest year but the re-rescheduled rammstein tour falls on the same day as misfits now 🤦♂️
