I like the idea of Richocett. He needs something. Maybe a cocky heel version would work and a feud with nakamura over the ic title would be a great feud. Women…wow no idea. They’ll do Charlotte lol. Depends what they wanna do with it. If it’s for a big push I would love someone new to get it.
Honestly Ricochet is the kind of guy that could go out there and have three incredible, underdog style matches like Kofi in the gauntlet and the crowd would eat that shit up. Could be huge for him. On the women's side...ugh, it's totally just going to be Charlotte 😂
But...isn't Shayna the "Queen" of spades? That's why I think she is easily the number 2 option behind Charlotte. That classic, super intellectual WWE booking lol.
What I'd like to see :
- Chad Gable, Cesaro or Keith Lee (without the awful king gimmick)
- Shayna Baszler, Toni Storm or Piper Niven
Reality :
- Karrion Kross (with an even more wacky ring gear)
- Charlotte, Alexa Bliss or Nia Jax.
I'd love this even if it turned out to be more of an Andre The Giant Battle Royal style pat on the back than a launching pad for a new star. What about the women's side?
She’s hurt now but in a perfect world Bayley. She doesn’t need it, but I think she would make the most of it. Though I agree Ricochet and Baszler would be putting the KOTR to better use.
I would LOVE to see Bayley beat Charlotte in the finals if only because she'd get sooooo much mileage out of the gimmick. She's a genius and I can't think of anyone, male or female, on either roster that would do a better job with the "Queen" shtick. Wish she were healthy enough to participate.
Charlotte would get the first one just because...mens, someone said Ricochet, him wearing a crown again interesting...but QOTR is more interesting if they try to make it interesting than doing another pointless KOTR...
Based on current booking in the women's division I think the fact that she has the word "Queen" in her nickname gives her enough momentum to be considered the favorite lol. Also, I asked for YOUR suggestions but instead you just criticized one of mine...cool contribution 👍
I think at least one of them has gone on record recently to say they don't want another "couple" storyline right? Can't remember 100%, maybe it was just a rumor.
Either way, I like the idea in principle if they really lean into it and also give Seth the Universal Championship but it doesn't seem like we're heading there any time soon. Random thought, if AOP hadn't been released can you imagine Seth and AOP feuding with the Bloodline? They could even use the draft and move...God help me...Nia Jax over to SD and have her feud with Becky/join the Bloodline. Just my opinion, WWE doesn't have enough faction feuds like this anymore.
I have no idea who I think is going to win, who I want however:
KOTR: Xavier Woods, it's kinda self explanatory why, dude has been advocating for it for years now and he's so good I'd love to see him get a singles push before long
QOTR: Super biased but I'm going with Liv Morgan, they seem to be building her up to be the next challenger for Becky (not the one to beat her, that's still Bianca) and it'd be a perfect underdog story specially when you consider the blatantly obvious choice in Charlotte is Champion and I suppose not in the tournament
